My family and myself have been patients here for over a decade. Our health has thrived thanks to the knowledge and medical care of Dr. Hoang. We have been plagued with various issues and even almost had to rehome our pets (due to allergies). Working with Dr. Hoang and her knowledgeable office has made a huge difference in our health and wellbeing. We didn't want just anyone to pierce her ears given the scary stories we've been told about the piercing gun getting stuck on the babies ear The experience we received from the office was so welcoming and the doctor was so friendly and sweet. She explained the process to us then left the door open for questions before doing the piercing. The whole process was so fast and gave us the instructions on how to care for our little girls ears. I can't thank enough for Dr. Hoang's amazing bodywork. Withouout her, I wouldn't have continued my breastfeeding journey. My baby boy suffered from long hour of delivery, lip tie and tongue tie, which causes him to have bad latch. Before Dr. Hoang, we had consulted a few lactation consultants, different tongue exercise, cranial sacral therapy, and occupational therapy. We had our last hope on the bodywork. She quickly went over my if there was any complication during my pregnancy, how the labor was and our overall nursing experience. Dr. Hoang concludes that it was the long hours of labor compressing my baby's bone structure. In less than 10 minutes she worked out her wonder and had my baby tried nursing. The pain level immediately dropped to 1-2 on a scale of 10. My husband and I were BLEW AWAY. We had gone from one doctor to another doctor, countless stressful moments when it comes to nursing. After nursing, the shape of my nipples has never looked so good. If you are mom struggling with bad latch, you know what a compressed nipple look like. Then when I wanted to know more about her experience with my condition, she stopped responding. I don't even remember how I found Dr. Hoang, but she has been a Godsend! She's extremely intelligent but my favorite part is that she truly has her patients' best interest at heart, not her pocket. She's is so detailed and quick to notice things but she offers practical advice instead of just prescribing and sending you on your way. She gets down to the root cause of any issues. My husband is sometimes weary about my love for holistic medicine and I love that she always takes her time answering all of his questions and offering different approaches to make him feel comfortable. Dr. Hoang is unlike any other doctor I've known. Instead of assuming that whatever is wrong with you (or your loved one) is something she has dealt with a million times she treats each new patient as a puzzle waiting to be solved. She listens carefully to everything you say and is determined to administer exactly what YOU need. Nothing with her is "by the numbers". I brought my husband in after he suffered a traumatic brain injury. He was struck by a car while jogging. His symptoms were a mystery to the medical staff at the hospital. After being in a coma for two days and feeling REALLY not quite right all the doctors could do was scratch their heads and release him saying he should never do this or that again. They could clearly see on the scans that there was in injury but they know so little about how the brain heals and how it works that there really wasn't anything they could offer other than painkillers. Dr. Hoang didn't give any platitudes or tell him he would feel instantly better. She did, however, in the course of only two treatments help him to start on the road to recovery and now, a year after the fact, it is easy for him to pinpoint the first treatment as the day he started to feel more "normal". For us it was a long drive and totally worth it. My poor husband was worried he would never feel "right" again. One warning, she IS passionate. If you are expecting your doctor to be old, quiet or matronly you will be disappointed. Instead prepare yourself for a super smart young lady who would seem equally at home at MIT or Sunset Junction. Her practice is a pediatrics and osteopathy combination. If only we lived closer we would bring our child there. I have seen many doctors over the years, and because of her and Soram Khalsa, MD, I finally have hope that my allergies, neck and back problems can finally be managed so that I can have minimal pain and discomfort. After only 1 visit, I am breathing more clearly, and have more range of motion in my neck. She took pictures of the bulging muscles and veins in my neck that were compensating for the herniated nerve that I have. The before and after treatment pictures were all the proof that I needed that her skillful hands were putting me back into alignment. I brought my daughter here to get her ears pierced with Dr. Jessica Nguyen. I've heard too many horror stories about babies getting ears pierced at the mall, and I knew I definitely didn't want to do that. She was amazing. She took her time and never rushed when my baby was getting fussy. When she started my baby couldn't stay still and right away she knew i was holding her too tight (which I was) and just like that she calmed down. With just a quick distraction one side was done and then the other. I'm not sure what the price is at the mall but bringing her here was definitely worth it. Also, they don't require immunizations for those that choose not to immunize their babies. What a horrible experience. I went one day with my child and she got mad at me because I didn't follow all of her diet recommendations. She yelled at me and accused me of making my decisions based on internet research and not by listening to her. She compared me to all her "perfect vegan" parents who follow all her recommendations, but I was different from her "perfect" parents and therefore, my child was not getting better. I was following her recommendations, but I was also a first time parent and confused about everything. She made it seem like "follow my recommendations and POOF, your child will heal completely". No, it takes time for the body to adjust, so don't YELL at me when he doesn't heal in 1 day. She considers herself perfect, all knowing, holistic and natural. Well, let me tell you, everyone in the office could hear her yelling at me. She doesn't agree with all vaccines, but as I was walking out, she was raving about all the patients she had that day, who were coming in and who were waiting in the lobby for their Swine flu shots and regular flu shots. When I told my family about this (some who work for HR and some who work for medical offices), they said she broke HIPA laws by doing that. I called my insurance company to switch doctors right away and when asked why I was switching and I explained, they insisted I file a complaint. I'm not perfect, but this doctor has NO right to yell at me, and make me feel like a dumb ____ next to her "perfect" parents. I was not perfect in her eyes, and she made me know it. I was shocked when leaving, and dumb me said...see you next time...which she replied with an "a huh"...as in I never want to see you again. Well, that makes two of us. read more

My son, now 2, has been under Dr. Hoang's care since he was born and we are very pleased with everything so far. Both her and Claudia, who works at the front desk, are warm and welcoming every time we come in. And the major bonus - THERE IS NEVER A WAIT!!! The reason that we went with Dr. Hoang in the first place is because we were told that she leans toward the holistic/natural side of things without being so far "left" that it would put our child at risk. That is exactly what she is - she's sensible and is always open to many different options for treatment. What I love is that she doesn't quickly write a prescription to get us out the door, she takes time to talk to us about symptoms, issues, etc before making any decisions. She has also given me the confidence to judge severity of symptoms, when its time to bring him in, or when a nights sleep and a homeopathic remedy will do the trick. I am 52 and my body has been used like it was a crash test dummy for a good portion of it. I have had a constant lower back pain since 2000 after a bad accident. I have tried a few things that have brought relief for a day or two at a time. Dr. Hoang spent an hour with me and my back stiffness and pain disappeared. Over a month went by with my normal physical work activities (lifting, carrying, climbing) without pain. If your treatment from her shows no results, she would say it's you and not her fault. She'll tell you that there's no guarantee result after you questioned the outcome of her treatment. However, prior to your visit, she'll lead you to believe that she's very good at what she does and she would tell you that her patients had gotten remarkable results.
