Italian margarita is a must. Sounds crazy but give it a try - you will not be disappointed! Service is phenomenal. From the friendly host who seated us with a big smile to our phenomenal waiter Sarah who was delightful and despite a full house that night, made us feel like we were the only people in the house. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. She suggested sweet plantains to go with it and white rice with beans which is traditional Cuban (instead of yellow rice). IT WAS FABULOUS! It was crispy on the outside and juicy. The mole was flavorful but not spicy and i appreciated that the meat was not dripping in sauce. My dinner date ordered chicken tamales which were seasoned in a Cuban style with yellow rice. She is used to Mexican tamales but said these really hit the spot! The only blemish on the nice was her second margarita which was the cucumber one which she didn't like at all.
