From the name, I was picturing something related to The Office, where they sell various types of high-end paper products. Additionally, I had recently watched a show based in NY, that had an actual store catered to writers, list keepers, etc. So I had expectations set. When I stepped in, I realized it was a Hallmark store on steroids. I'm not saying I was disappointed, just wrong. The store has many great items. Fashionable clothing, trinkets, gadgets, games, books, cards & feminine notebooks sprinkled in between. I did make a purchase & found some interesting items that I may return for later. The store itself is well maintained, properly staffed & customer service is very pleasant.

There are two prior reviews on Yelp in which people gave a low rating and said it was because staff wasn't friendly or helpful. In light of this, I feel bad writing what I came here to write, but: I found the staff intrusive. I was greeted when I came in, and asked if I was looking for anything special, which was fine. I said I was just browsing. But the same employee circled back to me several more times to say she liked what I picked out, suggested other things, etc. I wanted to say "Seriously, just let me look around in peace!" I'm sure she was instructed by store management to be helpful and friendly, but it was too much, in my opinion.

Sign up for the CVS card to get coupons. The pharmacy is okay, they seem to communicate a tad bit better online regarding prescription updates versus the one in Canton. However, since the prescription I needed was out of stock, I never got any further updates; it was just stuck in limbo. I had to request a new prescription from my doctor. CVS was founded in Lowell, MA in 1963 and headquartered in Woonsocket, RI. There are approximately 9,967 locations in the US and PR. They sell prescriptions, beauty products, OTC drugs, film & photo services, greeting cards, snacks, and seasonal items. They also have Minute clinic which has physician assistants and family nurse practitioners on duty. This service is only at select CVS'. They can treat, diagnose, write prescriptions for common illnesses. They provide vaccinations for flu, pneumonia, etc. they can treat minor wounds, provide routine lab test, health screenings, and various other services. They didn't have this where I came from in Florida so that is nice to see.

This experienced happened in December and I gave the company a good period of time to respond to me…read moreand they haven't, so I'm putting my warning out to any new potential shoppers. TLDR: They do not put the proper prices on their tags so when you arrive at the register they expect you to pay a higher amount than indicated on the tag because they have to "go by the price in the system." They hands down have one of the best ski/snowboard apparel selections in all of CT, but with shady pricing like this, I'll take my business elsewhere. In the end I found the same items I was looking for at a place in PA. This is my email complaint: "I just spent about an hour and a half in your Avon store. I had a wonderful experience with the gentleman helping me decide between two different sets of ski pants and jackets. After working it through with him to decide on the final choices I went to the register. I purchased pants and a jacket totaling $620 then I realized that the jacket came up priced at $60 more than it should have. The tag on the jacket says $300 and your system said $360. The person who was ringing me out would not honor the $300 price as shown on the tag. As a result, I returned the entire order. And I'm very disappointed in my experience. I've purchased from you before and I appreciate the large selection of options that you have and I'm really disappointed that because the price was not marked appropriately that I would be the one that would take the hit and not you.

Bob's Sport Chalet, STAY AWAY, don't do business with this creepy owner…read more I ordered two very expensive items and they never arrived. I contacted customer service and the same person, a man always answers the phone. I'm assuming it's the owner. He told me he would check on the order and get back to me. He never got back to me. Weeks went by and finally I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. I just happened to be at the post office picking up another package and when they went back to get it, when they came back out the postal worker said "oh do you know you have another package here for you?" The package from Bob's Sport Chalet had been sitting at the post office for weeks. The man in Customer Service never followed up on the package and it's whereabouts. I immediately contacted customer service at Bob's Sport Chalet and was treated extremely rude and yelled at by the same man that I spoke to in the beginning. (The Owner). Bob's Sports Chalet is owned and managed by Bill and Belinda Gonsalves of Bristol CT. The success of the business is by emphasizing the quality of service. I can't believe they have the nerve to put this in their ads in on their website. He very specifically said he would not give me a refund and they don't deal with people who file a dispute. He hung up the phone. I called back numerous times only to be hung up on again and be cursed out. He's a despicable man and a bully! I'm out almost $500, no fault of my own. The owner didn't care that the items were brand new packages and were sitting at the post office and it was not my fault that they were never delivered. I had every right to file a dispute. This is a horrible business and as you can see if you read the other yelp reviews, it's happened to many others. Please stay as far away from this company as possible, if you value your money and have any Integrity. This company doesn't care about their customers at all!

Unfortunately I am in a position where I have lost my hair but I feel very fortunate to have found the Elizabeth Nicole Wig Studio to help me during this. My wig is beautiful and Elizabeth provides extensive knowledge to help you choose, and then very detailed explanation to help you take care of it. On top of that, both these wonderful women very clearly care about the women coming through the door. I appreciate their truly sincere support and determination to help me as much as they can through not just my hair loss but the battle causing it. I cannot recommend them enough.

She promised to e-mail the detailed receipt I needed for insurance reimbursement the next day. After almost three weeks of phone calls and emails, and after mailing a self-addressed, stamped return envelope so that Elizabeth could effortlessly send the receipt to me, I STILL had to go to her studio (about an hour's drive away) to pick it up so that I could send it to my insurance company. All this in the middle of my chemotherapy and radiation treatment. I dunno--was she slacking off because I had opted to take the display wig home with me rather than wait for a new one to be ordered? She had her money in hand and knew I would not be returning for a fitting, styling, or care instructions, so maybe felt no pressure to follow up as promised? When I went to her studio to pick up the receipt, I did not appreciate Elizabeth trying to deflect the blame from herself to me by continually repeating "You're angry" while I was waiting for her to print the receipt for me. She acted as if this was an excuse for not following through on her promise to get the receipt to me; I would like to address that. Yes, Elizabeth, I was angry. You would been angry, too, if you'd had to repeatedly call, e-mail, and finally drive 2 hours round-trip in order to pick up a piece of paper that could easily have been sent by mail. The fact is, your e-mails had no attachments (no, it was not a problem with my computer; attachments regularly come through to me) and yes, you did receive my SASE--it was sent to your listed shop address and nothing was returned as "Undeliverable" through the Post Office.) The bottom line is that it was your responsibility to make sure I got the receipt as promised. My anger was valid and non-threatening, as anyone can see in the video my daughter took of the encounter when it started to become slightly unhinged when you repeated, over and over, "You're angry." Doing so did nothing but make you look like you were gaslighting me, when you should have just printed the receipt and handed it over without arguing about it. After all, isn't that WJWD?
