Since then, I haven't received any communication--it's now nearly a year later. I've sent multiple follow-up emails over the past several months with no response. Today, I decided to call in hopes of finally getting an update. Instead, I was routed to a virtual assistant that was so lifelike, I initially thought I was speaking to an actual person. No one from the store has returned my call. I left my flute with this business a year ago, followed up twice via email, and now I've been left in the dark yet again. This level of unresponsiveness is completely unprofessional. What happened to real customer service? It's incredibly disappointing. Companies like this only seem to respond when public complaints surface--which is telling. Shame on Evolution Music.

I was called the following day and Notified that the guitar restringing was Completed but that the neck needed adjustment & the repair person for that isn't there but would "probably" be in on Monday and someone would call me back. From Monday to Thursday I called daily to get an update on when the guitar would be ready and each time I got a different person and had to explain the situation to each of them and each time I was told I'd get a call back with a date it would be complete. On Thursday afternoon, I went into the store and asked for my sons guitar back as it still had not been repaired. I then drove directly to Axes Music in Mokena where the owner, Bill greeted me as I walked through the door. He inspected the guitar, took it in back and within 10 mins, completed the adjustment. He also commented on the "odd" restring job that was done at House of Music. I gave two stars instead of one because everyone I talked to at House Of Music was considerate, it was the last persons suggestion that I just come and get the guitar as he admittedly had no idea when it would get repaired after texting with a "manager" about it.

She knows how to teach children and keep her attention. Seeing all the parents taking their children here to learn music made my decision on House Of Music that much easier. The first lesson was free and the fees are reasonable. Highly recommend anyone to take their children here to learn music. Minus a star for lack of parking and the rotted wood that is a tripping hazard when you enter the door from the parking lot. I know it's a converted house but that should be removed already.

Jenny in particular was a treat to work with -- she shares my love of musical theater and was very open to any style of music I wanted to pursue. Cody and Michele were also great on the admin side; they were diligent about reminders and communication, as well as super helpful with scheduling conflicts. I highly recommend the Music Connection to adult students and to any parent who wants their child to take lessons in a caring, fun environment.
