My mom lives in a 55+ Community in the Sparks area and their clubhouse is always hosting fun activities for the residents. They held a Cinco De Mayo celebration with a margarita and taco truck. I'm not sure if they have a physical location or if there's a spot they're always located, but they were the main food event for the night. They had a Dancing by the River event and Lety's was in attendance. We went with the birria tacos which were really good. The meat was tender and flavorful. The consome was decent and the red hot sauce had a nice spicy kick which we love. If anything, I do wish the tacos would've been a little more crispy but that's just my preference. I had my son with me, he's 16 and a bottomless pit when it comes to food! He's taller than me larger than me Definitely better looking than me, and he has the same hard work ethic as his dad! I did not have the patience, nor the desire to sit down and deal with any type of server wait long wait, you know how this goes. After browsing yelp for any type of food truck, I saw the pictures for Letty's tacos. It was on my way home and best of all they were open. I ordered a bunch of Carne Asada tacos, but I noticed that they also had Langue tacos(tongue). I do not know what they did to that meat, I know that the tongue is tender, but I did not know that it could taste that damn good. It made me regret the decision in amounts of each tacos. I should've ordered a bunch of lengue tacos and just a few Carne Asada tacos, which were really good too by the way. The green salsa provided with the tacos. This is my absolute favorite food truck. They come to our annual concerts at the park in July and every week I hope they are there. We were enjoying an afternoon with coworkers at 10 torr and alert's Taco truck was parked for the evening there. My wife and I shared the birria nachos (you pick the meat) and boy were they delicious! Worth the $11 no doubt! The meat was juicy, it came with slices of avocado, nice melted cheese, fresh salsas and more. So today was the first day trying this and they brought their little taco truck to work at Hyundai and had my friend, family meet me for lunch at my work and we ordered 2-Al Pastor burritos , a Carne Asada Torta , and they gave us a free order of fries . Little bit of a wait with the amount of people that were ordering but highly worth it because everything was very very fresh and very tasty. Make sure you get the salsa it's A orange/red salsa it is soooooo good. We will definitely be getting some more from them .
