    Good Morning Burrito
    Maria M.

We could tell from the moment we pulled up the restaurant was bustling and rightly so, it was about 1130, prime brunch time. The wait time was about 15 minutes even with it being busy. The inside has such great colorful decorations, I couldn't stop looking around. We sat down and ordered our drinks, this is the first place that has asked me if I want ice in my water, kind of a weird quirk, but not a big fan of ice in the water so I was already impressed haha They have a big drink menu, will have to try one when we come for a dinner. Before we even placed our food order, they came and dropped off an on the house sample to the table. Not sure what it was but it was tasty. My husband's coffee order came in a such a cool set up, had to get a picture. I ordered the good morning burrito with asada and it was giant! My husband had the ranchera chilaquiles with eggs, also a good size. They do charge for added protein, but its states in the menu. They have two different salsa options that they drop off, both were flavorful. The food was really good but I couldn't get over how quickly the entire staff was hustling while still keeping the place looking clean! There was a good energy in the place and great music in the background. They also give a free concha at the end of the meal. I see that a lot of people reviewed that the prices were high, but I'll pay it for the tasty food and the good ambiance. And the service was great, multiple staff members checked in that were not our main waitress.

I've been here multiple times, it's always delicious and the employees are always kind :) My boyfriend and I love the decor! Would highly recommend this place

Came from the Bay Area to visit my son!! He brought us here and you guys did not disappoint! Exceptional food and service! Really enjoyed the complimentary Molletes--fresh bread!! Everything was so fresh and flavorful! Even the coffee was delicious!

The food hear is great. Everything tastes like it's from scratch and all of the ingredients taste fresh. The sauces are flavorful, the beans are delicious and the whole plate of breakfast was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The prices here are completely unrealistic. $23 for a plate of tortilla chips with toppings and 2 eggs is well beyond high. I simply can't justify $79 pre tip for 2 people.

Another 5 star visit to Los Chilaquiles, and I can't get enough of this place. Such fantastic food and friendly staff. They make you feel like you are part of a family feast when you are here, always dropping new stuff on the table and checking in on you. The ambiance here is always great, such a vibe. My new favorite chilaquiles has to be the mole, that was a killer flavor and totally hit the spot. This has become my go to breakfast spot and I can't wait till my next visit.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It was so good. I started with the hot chocolate. So creamy with a hint of cinnamon. I had the eggs over corn tortillas with two different salsa. My friend enjoyed the chicken enchiladas. Our server was attentive. She explained the dishes. It was quiet and relaxing vibe. We stopped in after the breakfast crowd and before the lunch rush. Will definitely be going back.

Great customer service the tram was very attentive, it is our second time coming here and the chilaquiles never fail to taste fresh and delicious. They always accommodate our big party and great atmosphere to be in.

Came in on a Tuesday Morning and were seated right away. The place started to get busy but it wasn't crazy, I'm sure it gets busy on weekends. This place had really delicious food!! Once you are seated, they give you a bread with beans and cheese on top and my wife really liked it. Also two bowls of red/green salsa, but did not come with chips. I assumed it was to go with whatever order you choose. I ordered the Machaca and my wife ordered a chorizo scramble. The food came with a side of black beans with Serrano peppers, so there's a kick! Our dishes were delicious. I usually don't eat potatoes and these were cooked and seasoned great! Even the potatoes came with Serrano peppers on top, so remember to ask for it without if you can't handle spicy. The service was very slow, it took almost 20 min to get an order in and the carrot juice did come out right after our entrees were served, BUT LET ME TELL YOU, our waitress was wonderful! She was the only one on the floor and she was literally running around to keep the customers happy and did it very well. She made sure to communicate honestly about how long the carrot juice was going to take and every time she said she'd be right back, she would. She did exactly what I hoped for as a server and that's just communication!! Music is great here. The place is smaller but not cramped. There's booths and tables. We will be back!! Overall food and service was a hard 4!

Place is some of the best Mexican food I've had. Being from southern California thats saying something. You get a big portion of food with each order. Kids pancakes are great for the little ones. Amole seating but it does get busy as the morning progresses. Everyone is so nice and helpful too. favorite spot in Reno!

From the moment you walk in this place has such a fun vibe. Beautiful bright colors and fun decor, feels very welcoming. We were immediately greatly by our friendly waitress. She started out our breakfast with a molletes on the house, super tasty. We ended up having the Los Pablanos and the Los Borrachos Chilaquiles. Both very delicious and unique flavors with generous portions of meat on both! We ended our meal with Cafe De Olla and a fresh made concha. Everything was so delicious and I can't wait to come back again to try several of the other items on their menu.

2 giant, delicious cheese & jalapeño tamales to go.

I recently enjoyed another wonderful breakfast at this warm & inviting place. I was the first one in on a quiet midweek morning, so that was a nice change from the usually packed house on weekends. The server was friendly and brought out a great coffee setup to accompany the tres leches waffles covered in fruit & whipped cream. Stuff of dreams! I also ordered the cheese & jalapeño tamales to go fie lunch - oh my! Maybe the best tamales I've ever had. They were huge, and the masa was soft & delicious. Highly recommend!

Breakfast started with a mollete - refried beans with chorizo on telera bread

Excellent food and service! We tried the poblanos, mole, fundido and borrachos chilaquiles and all were unique with great flavor! My favorite was the poblano and my husband's was the fundido - we wanted to lick the plate with the yummy, creamy cheese that was on it. Servers were very friendly and went out of their way to stop at the table multiple times to check on us. The restaurant has a front dining room and then also some separate booths towards the side and rear - colorful and well kept inside. Look no further for a great restaurant spot!

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

We found parking right away. We noticed the large banner outside touting best burgers. Was craving fish and chips, buttttt decided to go with a burger. Ricardo was our server.. we were greeted as we were stepping through the door. Told to take a seat anywhere. Ricardo recommended "any" burger with a smile. I asked whether I should order onion rings or fries, he said order the Texas Toothpicks.. Combo of beer battered onions and jalapeños. Ok let's do this. Richard's must have checked in on us 5-7 times during our meal, great service! Actually we had an entire conversation about his service, friendly, efficient, quick, chatty, and gets the order right! Order Bloody Mary served with banana pepper, green olive and lime.. no salted rim, which is fine, missing salty component for me BECAUSE I LIKE SALT... Drink was GOOD. Bloody Mary and Corona brought icy cold within two minutes. Jalapeno burger and fries son loved his burger! Son felt his burger had appropriate amount of salt and great char crusting. Garlic butter burger and Texas Toothpicks which is beer battered onions and jalapeños. In my opinion this burger starts with the bread.. Delicious soft bun that actually fits the patty. The patty had a nice sear on it, it was under seasoned and almost well done. The burger was lacking salt component to complement the garlic. Had the burger been seasoned, and had I have ordered it medium rare, (my mistake) it would have been really good. The burger did come without condiments which I appreciate because I can put my own in appropriate amounts to my liking. I added a pinch of salt, no complaining and we were good to go! I didn't even eat 1/4 of my food! The burgers and portions were HUGE!! The Texas Toothpicks were really good, a good fry was achieved on them. They held up to being dipped in ranch. 1/2 order hot wings and fries The wings were ordered breaded and hot. They had a good crisp, and were fried appropriately! Good amount of salt. The fries were served super crispy, piping hot and perfectly salted. The order came with carrots and celery without having to ask. Ranch.. Ranch is a serious condiment in our household with food like this. It was good. An appropriate amount was served with wings, and of course for us fries and ranch go hand in hand. The restaurant was clean, all staff was friendly and great service!!!

They did my over-medium eggs perfectly, and the brisket was nice and smoky and also surprisingly lean. The braised greens on the side surprised me a little with the flavor at first--I thought it was a bit too salty, but the tang seemed to come from like a vinegar flavor or something, and it kind of grew on me. Went pretty well with the other parts of the meal. I have to admit I was a little surprised the biscuit was a bit dense and dry--still tasted fresh/made, just a bit off in terms of size and taste compared to the rest of the stuff on the plate. We also got the beignets, which came with a nice bourbon sauce, but sadly a few of them weren't cooked all the way through. The interior was very bright (lots of windows) and clean, and the service team behind the counter was very pleasant. Also, I thought the price was fantastic for the special--like $14.95-for a very satisfying and overall well-made meal. We'll be back to try other stuff on the menu.
