    Poblano Chilaquiles

We've wanted to come here for like forever and today was the day. Los Chilaquiles is a breakfast/brunch kind of place. We went for Sunday Brunch. If you do the same, pack your patience. This place was packed. Bigger than it looks from the outside, it was packed. I ordered the Choriquilles (Chorizo Chilaquiles). Wow. This plate had everything, however, if I'm being honest, the chorizo wasn't my favorite. It had decent flavor but a bit on the oily side for my taste. The chips were crunchy. The mixture of flavors from the beans, salsa, Chorizo and cheese was amazing. The dish was served with potatoes and eggs. I would do the Chilaquiles again, just not order the Chorizo. My friend had the Poblano Chilaquiles. This dish look equally amazing and he reported the flavor was rich, deep and satisfying. Another friend had the Enchilada Suizas. Beautifully executed. The tortillas added the right amount of flavor to the dish and the sauce added just a touch of tartness. My wife ordered the Breakfast Burrito. She ordered her burrito with Bacon. The burrito was served with potatoes as a side dish. No worries, a quick disassembly and viola, potatoes now in the burrito. An absolutely huge burrito, I know what we're having for dinner.

Came here for breakfast with my wife and her parents, and the place immediately blew us away. The layout and design are super cool, with awesome attention to detail everywhere--from the wooden menus down to the decorations like the hanging umbrellas, the tree in the middle of the room, and the luchador artwork and skeleton statues. Our server, David, was fantastic and pointed us in the right direction with a bunch of great suggestions. We decided to go all out and got BOTH the mimosa flight and the margarita flight. They were packed with flavor, and the presentation was super impressive--the drinks even came with little candy touches on top. I ended up getting the birria tacos, and they were delicious. You get four tacos on the plate topped with pickled onions, and the whole meal was incredibly filling and satisfying. Found street parking right nearby without much trouble, too. Definitely planning on coming back next time we're craving a big breakfast.

Such a delicious and adorable brunch place! The decor in here is so nice and I loved all the attention to detail (like types of plates and cups they used). They provide two types of salsa and a slice of bread topped with beans. Both salsas were super flavorful and the beans were so good! My friend got an horchata and I had a sip of it - some of the best horchata I've ever had! I ordered the divorciados and it was the best of all worlds having red and green salsa and topped with well seasoned chorizo! The service was great as well, we received our food quickly and they were friendly and kept checking on us. I really enjoyed it here and look forward to trying other dishes!

I went here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning for the first time. It was pretty busy which is always a good sign. There were 6 of us and we were by busy talking so the server gave us some extra time to look at the menu. I had the breakfast burrito. It came w potatoes. It was quite big and filled w eggs, black beans and bacon. It was tasty. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very nice. My only gripe is that the prices are extremely expensive. I think my breakfast entree was $19!

The food hear is great. Everything tastes like it's from scratch and all of the ingredients taste fresh. The sauces are flavorful, the beans are delicious and the whole plate of breakfast was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The prices here are completely unrealistic. $23 for a plate of tortilla chips with toppings and 2 eggs is well beyond high. I simply can't justify $79 pre tip for 2 people.

Another 5 star visit to Los Chilaquiles, and I can't get enough of this place. Such fantastic food and friendly staff. They make you feel like you are part of a family feast when you are here, always dropping new stuff on the table and checking in on you. The ambiance here is always great, such a vibe. My new favorite chilaquiles has to be the mole, that was a killer flavor and totally hit the spot. This has become my go to breakfast spot and I can't wait till my next visit.

Came from the Bay Area to visit my son!! He brought us here and you guys did not disappoint! Exceptional food and service! Really enjoyed the complimentary Molletes--fresh bread!! Everything was so fresh and flavorful! Even the coffee was delicious!

We could tell from the moment we pulled up the restaurant was bustling and rightly so, it was about 1130, prime brunch time. The wait time was about 15 minutes even with it being busy. The inside has such great colorful decorations, I couldn't stop looking around. We sat down and ordered our drinks, this is the first place that has asked me if I want ice in my water, kind of a weird quirk, but not a big fan of ice in the water so I was already impressed haha They have a big drink menu, will have to try one when we come for a dinner. Before we even placed our food order, they came and dropped off an on the house sample to the table. Not sure what it was but it was tasty. My husband's coffee order came in a such a cool set up, had to get a picture. I ordered the good morning burrito with asada and it was giant! My husband had the ranchera chilaquiles with eggs, also a good size. They do charge for added protein, but its states in the menu. They have two different salsa options that they drop off, both were flavorful. The food was really good but I couldn't get over how quickly the entire staff was hustling while still keeping the place looking clean! There was a good energy in the place and great music in the background. They also give a free concha at the end of the meal. I see that a lot of people reviewed that the prices were high, but I'll pay it for the tasty food and the good ambiance. And the service was great, multiple staff members checked in that were not our main waitress.

I've been here multiple times, it's always delicious and the employees are always kind :) My boyfriend and I love the decor! Would highly recommend this place

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It was so good. I started with the hot chocolate. So creamy with a hint of cinnamon. I had the eggs over corn tortillas with two different salsa. My friend enjoyed the chicken enchiladas. Our server was attentive. She explained the dishes. It was quiet and relaxing vibe. We stopped in after the breakfast crowd and before the lunch rush. Will definitely be going back.

Carrot juice (freshly made and delicious!)

Came in on a Tuesday Morning and were seated right away. The place started to get busy but it wasn't crazy, I'm sure it gets busy on weekends. This place had really delicious food!! Once you are seated, they give you a bread with beans and cheese on top and my wife really liked it. Also two bowls of red/green salsa, but did not come with chips. I assumed it was to go with whatever order you choose. I ordered the Machaca and my wife ordered a chorizo scramble. The food came with a side of black beans with Serrano peppers, so there's a kick! Our dishes were delicious. I usually don't eat potatoes and these were cooked and seasoned great! Even the potatoes came with Serrano peppers on top, so remember to ask for it without if you can't handle spicy. The service was very slow, it took almost 20 min to get an order in and the carrot juice did come out right after our entrees were served, BUT LET ME TELL YOU, our waitress was wonderful! She was the only one on the floor and she was literally running around to keep the customers happy and did it very well. She made sure to communicate honestly about how long the carrot juice was going to take and every time she said she'd be right back, she would. She did exactly what I hoped for as a server and that's just communication!! Music is great here. The place is smaller but not cramped. There's booths and tables. We will be back!! Overall food and service was a hard 4!

Great customer service the tram was very attentive, it is our second time coming here and the chilaquiles never fail to taste fresh and delicious. They always accommodate our big party and great atmosphere to be in.

We went to Los Chilaquiles Mexican Breakfast for brunch and the food and service was excellent. The carne asada in my Tex Mex Chilaquiles was probably the best that I have ever experienced as it was so tender and delicious. The horchata was freshly prepared and flavored just right. The service was prompt, efficient, and everyone was very attentive. I am just annoyed with one thing, and that is they ask you if you want eggs with your chilaquiles and then they charge you for them. This is like going to a hamburger place and being charged a surcharge for your meat patty. I would probably have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for this little thing.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

I was really excited to come here especially seeing other people with celiac leaving a review. I am very well versed in cross contact. She barely let me speak, she interrupted, wasn't answering my actual question about what kind of toaster they used and what grill the bread is heated on, etc because she wanted to repeat the existence of cross contact. Good lord. I was one second away from walking out. She was a really piece of work. She then upped the "nice" factor to call me sweetie the rest of the meal which makes me want to crawl out of my skin. Honestly, I am very flexible, I think this place may be better than my first impression but this server needs to be retrained to LISTEN to the customer and answer questions and not just make it an effort to drive people out. This is a few minutes of her time, and I have to live my entire life like this without treatment until I die, so a little kindness and active listening is really a minimal effort for a few minutes every now and then. 3 stars is generous. Food was ok. Restaurant was clean, but the servers need to learn to interact with humans better with more kindness and better listening skills.
