Review based on my recent experience when they stopped by at our office for lunch. I have this one in my bookmarks for a while and was quite excited to see them on the list. They came with a shortened menu. Just a few meal options available. They didn't have any wraps or sandwiches. They were not ready to do it even though there was a demand. Also the meal options presented were quite pricey, looks like different from their usual pricing. Ordered a falafel meal. Within 5 mins the food was ready. The meal was decent, included 3 falafels, hummus, pita bread and rice. Quantity was ok, but not really worth for $17. Overall it was a disappointing experience. May be my expectations were much higher. Would really love to try their sandwiches and wraps when possible.

Fantastic food! You can taste all the ingredients and I can tell they are all very fresh. The owner, I assume, after handing my Gyro, I asked where he was from and he said "Syria". I wouldn't have guessed it but I mentioned that I've always wanted to go to that part of the world. I told him it has always been an interest for me to see their culture, history and of course trying their food. I also said that I thought the best food in the world are all counties that border with the Mediterranean (including Syria). Plus I said "thank you" in Arabic and from all this he felt very happy and appreciative in my thoughtfulness and good character. He then said "wait a minute my friend". Next thing you know he gave me as a "thank you" a complimentary Baklava. I told he didn't have to. This just shows when you are open, kind and truthful about yourself in showing interest in someone's county. They will be beyond happy and see you as a loyal and good person. He was such a nice guy and the gyro was just the bomb. Since they are a new food truck, I highly recommend trying them out. Their food was so so darn good. I'll be returning!

Ate amazing food

The food is so good better than what I've had elsewhere. Go check him out, find him where he's at. I promise you you won't regret it

Holy moly this is some delicious chicken shawarma!! I scored a pretty sweet $3 dollars off deal with the Elite '21 EBW event at Crucible. The food is incredible and both my husband and I licked our dishes clean! There's so much flavor and the rice is fully loaded with yumminess! I was so impressed by the amount of chicken you get and my favorite part is they add a nice heaping of hummus with a pickle and pepperoncini - my favorite. I will certainly order from here again and probably get the same exact thing again because the chicken, hummus, rice, and tabouli are just that good!

Delicious!! I visited their food truck while they were in Woodinville by Crucible Brewing. The young lady taking orders was so sweet and had great customer service. She did an amazing job. I ordered the chicken, and it was delicious. I cannot say enough good things. 10/10!

Great containers! This is how my meal was handed to me. Along with great quality napkins. I appreciate these small niceties.

The Levantine Cuisine truck isn't much to look at, but the food is pleasing to the eye and to the tongue. The options on their menu for main dishes was shawarma with either lamb, chicken, or vegetable. There did seem to be a portion of the menu which was covered and I do wonder what else they offered. We have been in the Mediterranean and this food is spot on to what we had experienced in that region. Very delicious! My husband and I both got the chicken shawarma because we were having lamb for dinner. What came in our dish: chicken shawarma atop saffron rice with the sides of tabbouleh/tabouli parsley salad and 2 pieces of a pita bread (about 1/3 of one full bread) with hummus. The food was flavorful and used spice but was not spicy EXCEPT the pepper that was on the hummus BUT the flavor is contained in the pepper alone. I also appreciate the containers they use. I took mine home to reuse it. It is bento style and microwaveable. I believe the containers are washable so double score to eating at Levantine Cuisine.

I was able to check out Levantine Cuisine food truck while at a Yelp event in Woodinville. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known about it, since I haven't seen the truck before. But after finding out about it, it served solid, Mediterranean food that I was happy to discover. The menu is straightforward, with different protein options for a plate with pilaf rice, tabbouleh, pita and hummus. They also had baklava. I chose the chicken plate, which I heard from other Yelpers was a tastier option than the lamb or falafel. The chicken plate was solid. Chicken was tender and flavorful. I liked that on the side you get tabbouleh for a more light, fresh side with the more heartier items with this plate. Staff was very friendly, even when someone was complaining about not getting their food fast enough. Glad to have discovered and supported Levantine Cuisine.

This food truck is a hidden gem (more like a moving gem ;)). Had lunch today when they were parked at Marymoor Park. Their vegetarian platter was very wholesome and tasty. The stuffed grape leaves tasted very fresh, the rice was very aromatic with fantastic spices, bordering a biryani style seasoning. The hummus and babaganoush were both outstanding, with the fantastic balance of tahini and lemon juice. The crown jewels of the lunch were the falafel, which were crispy and spot on; as well as the baklava, which was one of the best I've tasted, with good proportion of pistachios. Would suggest to the owners to improve the pita bread a bit more so it's more fluffy and soft, and drop ther price of bottled water! Highly recommended.

Randomly discovered this food truck at my favorite neighborhood pub (Broadview Pub) and ordered the falafel veggie meal and was immediately impressed with the portion size (most restaurant portions are too small for me). Things got even better when I started eating. The baba ghanoush was fantastic. The rice, immensely flavorful and everything else was just great. Super friendly service too. My girlfriend and I also got baklava for dessert. This was also excellent (from what I could tell - my girlfriend ate most of my portion). Anyway, I will definitely be seeking this place out again.

Baklava - SO delicious! ($3.50)
Wendi K.

I know this will be abnormally short but ... I can't NOT write a review for their baklava ($3.50) - it's perfect, crispy, nutty, and not too sweet. Pistachio based and delicious! I need to come back and try their actual food!

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.

Granted, I am a vegetarian, so I have a different set of options available to me here. I will say it's good to have a diverse list of restaraunt when you are on Vashon Island looking for food so I am super glad this spot exists. However, the flavours lacked for me. We arrived at the food truck around 12:30pm on a Saturday and had a ~10 minute wait to get our food. I got the Kebab meal, which included beef + lamb kebabs over a bed of basmati rice, hummus + pita bread, and a salad. The kebabs were delicious - had a good chew texture-wise and where very hearty and meaty in their taste, they are indeed very filling! The hummus had a subtler flavor in comparison to other hummuses that I've had, but this hummus gives a more homemade feeling to it - goes well with the pita bread and meats in this entrée. The salad was more of a standard tomato, lettuce, and cucumber salad - simple and refreshing to take a bite out of between eating the other options. Overall, spent about $14 - a pretty solid and filling meal given the price and quantity given, you'll definitely get filled up enjoying the homemade nature of the food here! I would recommend you give this cozy food truck a try when you visit Vashon! (4.5 stars!)

Service was friendly and patient as we tried to make decisions and asked questions. I have a friend that kind handle chile spice due to medical condition they were very accommodating when it was needed by having certain sauces on the side. We shared a number of dishes and two bottles of wine. We started with the Hummus bil Lahm ou Snobar, my favorite dish of the evening a hummus with bubbling spiced lamb. Baba Ghanouj, Bisara Munir, Arnabeet, Alhalaioun and the chicken and beef Shish Taouk. Everything was delicious. Flavorful, the proteins were cooked perfectly nice and tender. One of our friends likes meat a lot and hadn't cause he thought it was a vegetarian restaurant. We had to have the green chile sauce on the side of the asparagus dish cause of my friend but that was ok we were putting it in other items we loved it so much. Also the whipped garlic that came with the chicken and beef was a big hit! We had never had Lebanese wine and enjoyed our selections. Love that it felt like a healthier meal with the vegetables and spreads. Didn't feel stuffed after but definitely satisfied. They even comped dessert for my friends birthday which I believe was an orange rose water pudding. Welcoming warm space. Parking is fairly easy on a Tuesday night. Looking forward to visiting again

One thing I really loved about the skewer is the sauces that came on the side: one tahini, one garlic, and one tomato. Such delicious sauces! Entrees were a little pricey though.
