The food, the cocktails, the service were all top notch. This was not the same place I disliked so much a few years ago. We were a big group and my sister picked the menu with the help of the friendly, & cool manager - I think his name was Angelo maybe. Anyway he gelped with the drink and food service and the whole team was spectacular. Water and drinks were always full and the food was delicious. We all had pan con tomate, croquetas, a delicious, crisp salad, and the thickest and fluffiest French toast. So, I stand corrected. Level 6 was fabulous, cool, with great service and delicious food. If you're looking for a fun, rooftop for dinner or drinks, this is a great spot. Plus they have fans and lots of shaded areas! We went for drinks and ended up getting food as well! It was my first time. They have a parking lot next door but I'd suggest uber. Drinks were typical Miami prices. I got the nocturno which was basically an espresso martini with tequila. It was good. We got the charcuterie and seafood paella. The paella said it came with squid but I don't remember tasting any mixed in. They have a DJ setting the vibe. Dancers that come out every 30-60mins. Beautiful rooftop place in the heart of Coconut Grove. Went here for a brunch. Nice vibe with a DJ and great food! Food is Spanish as in from the country Spain. I had the pan con tomate, breakfast croissant and flan. All great and very filling. I also had a mocktail that was delicious too. It's a more boujee vibe and the price tag matches that. Wonderful Birthday Celebration for my Husband! We had a wonderful time, our server was super helpful and attentive. The food was good overall and the drinks were even better. The Paella was a steal the two price options are for 2 people or for 4 people to share but I honestly could of just shared the larger one with my partner haha. Ambience was top notch! I cannot believe I was late to the game and had not been here before. But now, that is rectified. NOW I AM A HUGE FAN. I loved the decor, the sea breezes and views. Coconut Grove definitely benefits from a roof top bar. I think clients agree as it was packed. I came for their happy hour or as they call it Sunset Hour. I sampled the following - One of their tapas - the Salt Cod Croquetas - This is their description of them from their website - chive, guindilla pepper, sauce gribiche. Verdict I enjoyed them. One of their cocktails - called Purple Sky. This is their description - ketel one vodka, st-germain, lime, lavender, fee foam. Verdict - looked really pretty, and I enjoyed it. Nice rooftop with great views Level 6 Rooftop has a really nice view -- the marina on one side and the Brickell skyline in the distance. The music is relaxing and the bar and service feels comfortable, making it a good place to unwind. They also have happy hour, which is a plus. Lovely evening for a great bestie birthday festivity. It was a celebration and the atmosphere was on point. The fire dancer, the drum player, and those beautiful views were the perfect mix. We had made reservations ahead of time which I would recommend if you plan on seating and having a bite. While we waited for our table we stood by the bar and each ordered a fabulous cocktail. The menu had it all to suit everyone's needs whatever your spirit of choice. Once seated we really just enjoyed the whole experience. We sat at a spacious table with one seating comfy enough for three and ottoman's for the rest of our party. We were comfortable as we were a party of 6. Pictures, gossip, and laughs persisted. We all ordered and shared tasty appetizers. Our spread consisted of truffle fries, grilled octopus, shrimp,potato bravas, tuna tartare, fish croquette, pan con tomate with, manchego cheese, and chicken paella. Now as to the restaurant; the service is just ok low level of attention by the server and the manager. Water refills rare, having to remind them of what we needed over and over, the food was nothing out of this world and did not come out at the same time for my party as if the kitchen was not coordinated properly. I'm a fan of Amal & Level 6, having been here multiple times, including when at first opened and most recently for an event. That's why a group of us decided to stop by for the after party at a nearby venue. Architecturally, the whole rooftop vibes are beautiful! Service was top-notch, from the staff of the velvet room to our hostess who was able to get our group a table without reservations. The ambiance is very luxurious and to jokingly quote a friend in the group, sugar daddy vibes. I guess with my silk tie and Austin Burke "pimp blue" suit...and the jazzy hiphop soundtrack fit this vibe. We started off with drinks, of course. My Mojito was very well blended and great as the one of many nightcaps. Myself and most of the group was pretty full from the event we had come from, but I did enjoy their Serrano jam croquettes and their & sweet and crispy bacon wrapped dates. The only area that could need some improvement was the soup from my friend had. I checked out Level 6 Rooftop and really liked the party-bar vibe right away. It definitely has that energetic, nightlife feel that works well for the area. That said, it feels pretty crowded, and surprisingly there aren't really any tables with a direct view. Most of the seating actually faces away from it, which kind of defeats the purpose of a rooftop spot. The music was way too loud. I could barely have a conversation with my girlfriend without practically yelling across the table. If you're going strictly for drinks and a party atmosphere, it works. But if you're trying to talk and enjoy dinner, it can be frustrating. Service was good overall, and the staff was friendly, but we did find ourselves looking around for our server a couple of times for refills and additional orders. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the location and atmosphere, that's expected. I was surprised they only had one beer on the entire menu. The food was pretty good, but nothing amazing that would make me want to rush back. The garlic shrimp was disappointing. It tasted more like seaweed and had almost no garlic flavor at all. The highlight for me was the churro with ice cream dessert. That was easily the best thing we ordered. Overall, it's not terrible, but it's nothing special either. Upon sitting down the waitress notified us since we "weren't dining" and "just drinking", there would be a $75 or $95 charge per person (it was very loud with the music and couldn't hear her well) to offset what weren't eating. After we spoke to the server numerous times, they waived the fees on our bill as a courtesy. Trendy Miami rooftop located right above the Lebanese Amal restaurant. It draws a large crowd both at the bar and outdoor seating (retractable roof). It's a nice vibe and they surely charge you for the experience. Cocktails are crafted well if you can squeeze into the bar and order. Tapas were also tasty. They had a fire dancer come out at one point and put on a show. It's defiantly a nice place on the right night or with the right people. We had heard a lot about Level 6, so we decided to try it for our 15-year wedding anniversary dinner. We ordered a few things off the menu with the intentions to share. We started off by ordering our drinks. I ordered Purple Sky which had Ketel One Vodka, St-Germain, lime, lavender, and fee foam. My husband ordered a Tremendo Old Fashioned. It had Woodinville Bourbon, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Banana Liqueur, Orange bitters and cocoa bitters. We both enjoyed our drinks. We placed our food order. For appetizers we wanted to try the Pan con Manchego, which is a slice of sourdough bread, tomato, Spanish olive oil and Manchego cheese. Next, we ordered Zucchini Flowers. This is a vegetarian dish which has ricotta cheese, honey, and fennel pollen. We have to say we loved it. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Skirt Steak. For the temperature of the steak, we asked for Medium Well. It had a romesco sauce, agrodolce onion, veal jus and garnished with Crispy potato. We assumed that the portion would be shareable, it is not. Last but certainly not least my favorite dessert. We ordered two desserts to give a try. I ordered Tres Leche. Which had Vanilla ice cream, tres leche cake, caramel Chantilly, and a garnish of chocolate pearls. My husband tried the Milhojas Tropical, which is a mango pastry cream, Kiwi, Dulce de leche and toasted coconut. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the food, and had good service. You can also choose to do bottomless cocktails which include; the passionfruit Aperol spritz, sangria, mimosas and Bellinis. I chose to have 1 cocktail and it was the purple sky which had kettle one vodka, it tasted like a lavender lemonade. It was very refreshing imo. To start off we had an order of truffle fries which were great. The perfect amount of truffle and I loved the Parmesan cheese they top it off with. We shared the octopus which had a salsa verde, fingerling potatoes, and Spanish olive oil. The octopus was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was absolutely delicious. The other item we shared was the Spanish French toast. It was a brioche bread which was crusted with cinnamon sugar, topped with strawberries and ricotta! It didn't state on the menu that it had a citrus zest but I got a hint of it and I absolutely loved it. Overall, I truly recommend you check this spot out. Level 6 in Coconut Grove is all about the vibes. You don't come here for the food, you come here for the rooftop experience. The second you walk in and make it up to the sixth floor, you're surrounded by glass walls with almost 360-degree views of the Grove. The views are easily some of the best in the area, and that's really what makes this spot special. The drinks themselves are fine. They're definitely overpriced, but that's kind of what you expect when you're at a rooftop bar. You're paying for the setting, not necessarily the cocktails. The menu rotates with different versions of cocktails to keep it interesting. Still, it's a great spot to hit before dinner as a pre-game or even later in the night for a nightcap. It's always packed, so if you're trying to come during peak hours, don't expect to just roll up and grab a spot at the bar, come early or make a reservation if you've got a group. We've had food here once and it was okay, nothing bad, but nothing that makes me want to order food here again. That's just not what this place is about. I'll definitely keep coming back whenever I'm in the mood for a good rooftop scene in the Grove. read more

Level 6 is an open-air restaurant and bar that's located on the 6th floor rooftop above Amal in Coconut Grove, adjacent to Greenstreet. On the Thursday night we were here it was quite busy, full of patrons both seated for dinner, and those like us who were just there to grab a drink. We were let in right away by the security staff checking IDs at street level, and invited to take the elevator to the 6th floor where we buzzed past the hostess and headed to the bar. It was standing room only but we were served right away, the cocktail menu was solid and both our drinks were good, as was the DJ they had spinning. As far as the view - When near the bar, one can stand at a drink rail that overlooks the bay area in the slight distance in front of this restaurant, which wasn't terribly impressive when we were there at night since it was so dark. We then moved over to the side, where the standing area overlooks Coconut Grove, with downtown Miami off in the far distance. This offers a better vantage at night with all the buildings lit up. Cocktails were $20 each + auto gratuity which I've seen some other reviewers scoff at, but the fact that this place is consistently full illustrates that patrons are quite obviously OK with that. I can't comment on the food, but as mentioned, the cocktail menu was varied, service was good and drinks were well-poured. As far as the view from this "rooftop" - it's only 6 floors above the street, and Level 6 is located in the section of Coconut Grove that's away from many of the newer restaurants and condos that are popping up, so there's not a lot to "see" from here. If you're looking for a rooftop experience with truly impressive views, you might try one of the better-known rooftop spots in Brickell. read more
