I'm always nervous trying a new hair salon, but Tricia was amazing and did a great job!

I have been utilizing Rhonda's services for many years and without exception, I leave the salon highly satisfied! She takes the time to know and understand me as a person too. She is easily accessible by text if I need to alter an appointment and has gone above board on a couple of occasions to fit me in when my schedule was challenged. There is great energy (and music) in the salon and it is evident to me that all of the stylists really care about their clients. I highly recommend Rhonda and Level Seven Salon! read more

I got my Hair colored by Rhonda 1.5 weeks ago, I've been bleach blonde my entire 39yrs and wanted to do something different. I gave her the pic of the copper red I wanted, she told me she purposely dosen't keep all her colors stacked because she looks at who she has and goes off of what they do so I guess your not allowed to change things up. She agreed she could do it she didn't end up having the right color so she mixed two colors together to make it the one they didn't have asked if I was ok with it being vibrant I said yes. Well my appointment was for 2.5hrs it only took 20 minutes to let the color set then she rinsed it out and Rhonda always gets my make up off this time my sweatshirt was soaked in the back from her doing a crappy job at rinsing it out. Then she went to cut my hair, I told her I loved my hair cut she did last time and wanted it again, after maybe 10 minutes she was done and blow dried my hair and flipped it out. She said after 3 washes it will tone down and be vibrant. The entire thing took less then a hr. Mind you I had booked 2.5hrs. I paid $270 and went home where I noticed immediately I hated my color and cut it wasn't what I asked for or what we agreed on. I booked another hair cut for the next week. When I went back she was RUDE she was making it my fault and scolding me like a kid. I didn't say anything about the color as I just wanted to leave. This time I showed her a pic of what I wanted it's the same pic I've always gave her and this time it's way to short in the back I can't put it back at all. I texted her telling her I hated my hair and didn't know what to do and needed her help in helping me go the right avenue. Well guess what she ghosted me that was last Thursday it's Monday as I write this. So I would not recommend Rhonda she is unprofessional telling me things about her personal life that are disgusting to me and things I didn't want to know. I'm pissed I didn't get the color we agreed on because your to lazy and unprofessional to carry every color like a salon should do. I don't ever leave bad reviews but I spent way to much money to be so depressed I can't look at myself in the mirror without crying I sleep all day I just got out of a 2yr depression only for Rhonda to put me right back into one. This was my first time at this place. I was really disappointed in three key ways: 1. I booked a custom facial, and I was really excited to get pampered for the 90-minute facial. But the specialist ("N") left the room a solid 20 mins before time was up. 2. The location is not relaxing. The room is located in a hair salon with no soundproofing at all. Instead of an ambient, relaxing space, you will hear hair dryers going on and off, the laundry machine chiming, and the flow of conversations between everyone getting their hair done. The elevator music in the facial room just added to all of the chaotic noise. 3. This one is about the personal touch from the facial specialist - both literally and figuratively. I never felt welcomed or valued. At a spa, we don't just buy the actual service - we buy the illusion of care; here, I felt like a body on a slab. (Also, the next day my neck ached!) I apologize for the 1 star review, but it is fair. I was massively disappointed and wanted to spare others the money and time wasted. read more

I had a microdermabrasion facial from Naraye the esthetician at this salon. Not only was she extremely professional but the facial exceeded all expectations. Her room was very clean and the essential oils used for the aroma in the room made the facial that more relaxing. I have had many many facials before and what she offers in her 90 minute facial is above and beyond others I have received. The results I experienced was truly surprising. I had absolutely glowing skin the first day then the real test is days later since you should experience some peeling if the right products are used. I peeled for 3 days which is to be expected but not horrible that you can't go out in public. My skin is absolutely glowing and I appreciated the TLC she provided during this service. Full disclosure, I followed my stylist to this salon and I so happy I did! Tricia has done my hair on and off for almost 10yrs. She listens carefully and is willing to try anything I throw her way. Her color is always amazing and her cuts are even better! The salon is cozy and friendly. Very inviting. It also has a hidden perk, it is located next to a cute little wine shop! I've gotten my hair done and grabbed a good bottle of wine all in one stop. Making an appointment is SUPER easy with their online scheduling. If you are looking for a new stylist, I can not recommend Tricia enough! read more

I have been to Level Seven twice. One for a hair appointment with Rhonda and then for eyelash extensions and brow tint/wax with Naraye. Rhonda was super friendly and cut my hair really well! Naraye was so nice! I had scheduled two appointments for the same day, but different times. Luckily due to a cancellation she could do both things at the same time. She did my eyebrows perfect and they have never looked better. My eye lashes are beautiful and she really took the time to make sure they were all attached correctly. She even gave me her card and told me to call her anytime if I needed her to fix them before my wedding this weekend. read more

Alisa is a master at her craft! She is such an amazing stylist; I am always blown away by how good my hair looks. My 7 year old daughter, husband, and mom also see Alisa and love her. I recommend Alisa to a friend and she drives all the way from Renton to her. My hair is always cut impeccably and my color has this beautiful shine that I haven't gotten anywhere else. read more

I had my hair cut by Sophia today and she is amazing!!! I have thick, curly hair and love to wear it short, but the wrong cut can make me look like a member of the Golden Girls set. She is professional, a great listener and committed to her craft. The salon itself is lovely and comfortable. I highly recommend both Sophia and Level 7. read more

Naraye is fantastic! She does a perfect wax painlessly. The salon is adorable! Everyone is really nice, quality products.

I have never found a place where I said to my friends "I am definitely going back here, and you should try it too!" More like "I could get another cut here." ...Until now! My first experience here was to take my daughter here to get a funky anime/manga-style haircut that she picked out of a montage of cuts off drawings on the internet. Our stylist was Alisa. Oh my gosh! She did a great job! So the next week, I got my hair cut, nothing fancy, but it came out better than other cuts I've gotten. I usually avoid going for haircuts almost as much as I avoid dentists, but I've been back since and now have a sassy A-line bob that I love! She cuts wigs as well and my son had a wig we bought for Sakura-con (an Anime convention) and he looked great styling an awesome Inuyasha costume. Sadly their business closed after a fire, but they will be reopening next month and I am excited to see the new place! read more

I am very happy I found this salon. It's always scary to try a new hair salon and stylist. I was recommended to see Rhonda, she is very nice to work with, she listens, understands and truly cares about building a relationship with your hair. Rhonda did wonders for my long, drab, jet black hair. My haircuts are years apart so I finally decided to get it cut at least 10" and try balayage. I have black Asian hair so I wasn't sure how great balayage would turn out. I searched through Bothell salons and based on reviews, decided upon Level Seven Salon. And with lots of positive reviews, I was very comfortable with picking Rhonda. The salon is small and exactly how I like it (I'm not a fan of the huge salons that just churn people through the door). I met and immediately liked Rhonda, who was very friendly. She listened to me and suggested some ideas and in the end - I LOVE MY HAIR! My hair looks the best it has looked in years! read more

Before Level Seven Salon, I never had a good experience with my hair being professionally dyed, but I am so glad I finally chose Level Seven Salon. I had a balayage appointment and received so many compliments on my hair. That's pretty amazing considering black hair, especially for Asians, can be hard to handle. Rhonda was so easy to talk to and incredibly talented. She knew exactly what I wanted from the pictures I brought in and gave me helpful advice. I love my caramel-colored highlights! Rhonda spent almost 3 hours on me and I was really impressed with how she paid so much attention to detail. It may seem expensive, but I would rather spend my money for a fantastic job than one that I need to later fix. Also, side note, a mom came in with her young child for a haircut. Her stylist was super professional in both cutting the lady's hair and answering the child's many (endearing!) questions. Highly recommend! read more

Kendall has been a dear friend and an equally great hair stylist throughout the years. She always listens to the customer and delivers their wishes. Not only that but she instills confidence in their new look. I have always thought of Kendall as a stylist that does hair for people as if it's her own. She's always attentive to detail. Not only that but she has taken the time to not just accept what is "current" in the hairstyle industry but has made it her mission to continue learning new styles and new techniques to make her a very versatile hairstylist!
