The coolest thing about Katrina is that she went with my vibe (I'd been at work all day) and didn't engage me in conversation the whole time. She just let me relax and did her thing. She was gentle and kind. Just what I needed today! I will post an update in two weeks when I come in for a fill but I suspect they will hold up if I do what she told me. Her studio is relaxing and clean, her table is heated and comfortable and she is really attuned to my comfort during the service. I had paid $$$ to Vanity Lash Lounge for a few years and still ended up wearing strip lashes most evenings out since even their more lush sets were closer to classics elsewhere. Carissa's hybrids are just lush enough to make my eyes really pop without over-powering them or making them look costume-y. Not only as Mother-Daughter time, but as our self-care time as well. The eyebrows might be what frame one's face, but it is the lashes that are the red carpet leading to the soul. Well, needless to say Covid hit and our self-care turned into home-care. Have you ever cut your own hair and it turned out to be not as bad as you thought, but then when you actually go to a salon you're like, "What was I thinking?!" Doing my own lashes...same concept. So it's 2025 and my daughter and I decide that we wanna do something for ourselves again that involves a professional. This is where Divaforeva Lashes takes our needs and wants to another level. I called to inquire about services and it was the owner, Gennifer, who answered the phone. Not only did I get all of my questions answered, I made appointments for both my daughter and I and immediately felt the personal service & quality we were going to receive...and this is just over one phone call. Not to mention there were three additional phone calls due to my daughter's work schedule which they were more than happy to accommodate as it was within their policy. The day had finally come. I was so excited! There was plenty of parking and when you walk into the establishment the atmosphere was elegant, inviting and more importantly pristine. The seating area where Gennifer sat with me as a new client is very comfortable and inviting. And talking with Gennifer is like talking with a friend. You can tell she's very proud of what she's created and very humble for the clients she has. As you walk upstairs to the private rooms you're asked if you'd like to use the restroom first as a full set is a two hour long process. The bathroom is just as clean as the rest of the salon and very nicely decorated. Once in the room there's a very comfortable seat where they continue the interview which is very personalized and informational. You're then welcomed to lay on a heated and extremely comfortable bed where the magic takes place. Full disclosure, I actually fell asleep during my session. When I woke up I was ecstatic to see the beautiful art that Gennifer had done with my face. Yes, she only did my lashes, but you know how when you mount an exquisite piece of art on a wall and now that entire wall just looks amazing? That's exactly what she did to my face. I would say the experience was beyond words, but if you've made it this far then I guess you could call me a liar. Oh!!! And I cannot forget to mention that on this day Divaforeva Lashes received the Best of Glam/Lashes in all of Snohomish County and is also the Best Overall Business in all of Mill Creek. I suffer from anxiety that flares up when getting lashes done (having to keep eyes closed for long period of time). During my sessions, Gen played a calming playlist and talked me through the entire process to make sure I was at peace. After my appointment, she went over how to care for my lashes and even gave me a cleaning kit. I've gotten my lashes done for years and no one has ever thoroughly explained how to care for lashes.
