The Best decision I ever made was calling Chris from Level Up and scheduling a date to clean my Traeger. His professionalism and customer service is top notch. My grill turned out fantastic, practically brand new. I was so impressed with my Level Up Barbecue cleaning experience that I purchased a gift certificate as an Christmas present for a family member. Chris from Level Up contacted me and made sure I received the certificate of my preference and then notified me when it was mailed out. A week had passed and I never saw anything in the mail, so I contacted Chris and notified him. The very next day he hand-delivered the gift certificate to my home. I'm blown away by this company's high quality service and their top notch customer service. I'm a customer for life! Unfortunately, the below 1 star reviews are real. I had Chris's company come out in February this year for a cleaning it was $300 and I tipped $20 to the employee and didn't have a problem. I called again and Chris personally came out and I asked if I could do the package of 4 cleanings for $1000. Also if he would be able to add my previous first cleaning to the deal. He said yes no problem! I paid him the additional $700. At this point he has done 2 cleanings. We set the 3rd for Oct and he no showed. After a few texts and calls no answer or response. On a side note while talking to him about the business etc during the second cleaning. He stated that his brother in law and his sister stole from him. Money out of his account, equipment, etc. He said he put them up in his house during Covid after his brother in law lost his job and did all kinds of nice things for them. He said they opened up their own cleaning company called mean clean bbq cleaning. After reviewing their site and reviews it seems they are doing good. I believe the story was false and that he more than likely scammed them in some way. I've decided to go to another company (Back 2 New BBQ) all together and will post on this new company after they come by this next Tuesday before Thanksgiving. This new company doesn't ask for money up front and is actually less expensive and been around for 16 years. I am willing to remove this review if Chris does the right thing. I believe in Karma and it is sad that we as locals don't look out for each other and treat each other better. This city is hard enough so doing the right thing is worth it's weight in gold. Chris at level up is amazing. When he says he takes pride in his work he is not kidding. Our sommerset gas grill was in need of a good cleaning and removal of a spray that was recommended by another company. Chris arrived at 7 AM and finished at 12pm. The grill looked as close to brand new that it could. The black spray on the inside was completely removed. I could not be happier. Why the two reviews on here said not recommend because of some foolish app yelp is using is riduculous. Level up is for real and I highly recommend them. read more

LevelUp BBQ cleaning serviced our DCS Grill back in April - I ordered a part and paid for it same day as service it is now August and although I have contacted Chris many times about it he is not responsive or denies that it is his company that ordered the part. Not only was the service expensive, the part was $200. Despite the rave reviews, I find this company and Chris to be dishonest and shady. i would not recommend them. read more

Chris does fantastic work and we will definitely be using his services again in the future. We really appreciated him coming out on Father's Day (a Sunday) and knocking it out promptly in over 100 degree temps. The grill looks fantastic and somehow he left zero mess behind from what was a messy grill in bad need of a deep cleaning. I also appreciated his input on what brands are quality and will last. I called Chris and scheduled a cleaning that was performed in April 1, 2021. I have a DCS grill that had been in storage for many years- The cleaning was very thorough and as expected I needed to order a new igniter which I did (for $200!). I was told the part could take up to 4 weeks. I have called several times regarding this part and was always told "I'll check and get back to you", today is June 9th and I have yet to hear back from Chris about the part. I would not recommend ordering anything from LevelUp as they do not deliver. I am now out $200 + tip. I have ordered the part on Amazon ($56) and will have someone else install it. Aaaamazing!!!! Can't say enough good things about this company! Chris the owner was able to fit us in to a busy schedule and did an outstanding job! We moved in to a new home and the previous owners never cleaned the built in grill! It was a mess to say the least I tried and tried to clean it, soaked it and used every oven off chemical you can think of and nothing worked! Chris was able to make our grill look wonderful! He worked very clean brought tarps to lay the dirty parts of the grill on while he worked to get them cleaned. Chris and his helper did a FANTASTIC job on my old gas grill. It had never been cleaned and was very dirty and greasy. He explained everything in detail so there were no surprises. BEWARE: After a couple visits under our one year plan (paid in advance), Chris is not answering emails, calls or texts. Phone mail full. Complete ghosting. He owes us $250 and is nowhere to be found. Bummer, too, because as others have said, he did a good job when he or his worker showed. But now he is basically a thief. Small claims court is my next stop so he has come consequence for what he has done to customers who had faith in him. read more

SO DISAPPOINTED. We paid for a one year service contract in advance. Chris took the money and disappeared. He does NOT answer texts, calls, his voicemail box is full. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY! I have sent him 20 messages asking him to service our BBQ as contracted. Twice he responded and said he'll be out "next week". Always a NO SHOW. He has missed all his scheduled service calls.
