The maple toast was sweet, delicious and just what I wanted today. A cute place where you can sit out on the sidewalk or inside the cute little coffee shop you order at the bar. They call out your name for coffee and bring your dish to you. Everybody was nice and welcoming. Now when I walk into a building looking at me you can tell which way I voted and inside this place 99% of the people voted in a different direction. That doesn't bother me and it didn't bother them. What made the experience even more special was the opportunity to chat with Masuda herself. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about her cafe. We had a lovely conversation and learned that she is celebrating the one-year anniversary of opening the restaurant. It's easy to see why she has made it through that important first year as she clearly cares deeply about both her food and her customers. Great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable breakfast.
