The ladies serving us were very nice and although regular frozen coffee wasn't on the menu. They found a work around to make a small frozen vanilla coffee. The coffee bar allowed for the addition of more sugar. Thanks to other reviews, we learned about its tasty sandwiches. We ordered the American Classic. The eggs were cooked so the yolks inside weren't wet or completely solid, but gooey good. Then the buck-land, although I wished had another egg was sweet and savory. Each sandwich had a crispy brown grilled crust too. There are also muffins, cookies, danishes, and a grab-n-go hot sandwich case. The service was also fast. read more

The service was horrible in their Greenfield and Shelburne Falls locations. In Greenfield they had only one person making the drinks both for in person and mobile orders. People who came in after me got their drinks first. I waited 20 minutes and told them I think someone forgot my order and no urgency to make my drink. I waited 5 more minutes and asked for a refund. In Shelburne Falls I was the only one there and there were 3 people behind the counter and no one was making my drink after 10 minutes I asked for a refund. Came here for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Had a fairly short wait time to order and managed to find seating without much issue. The line did pick up a bit while we were there, and they don't have a ton of seating, so your mileage may vary Biggest plus for me right off the bat was the variety of cold brew options they had. Most places just have the one option, but it seems every hot coffee available can also be made as cold brew. The nitro pumpkin cold brew seemed like it would be the most difficult to find elsewhere so I tried that. It passed the common drawback of nitros by not being over the top with bitterness or acidity. The pumpkin flavor was lighter than I hoped for, but they get a ton of credit for having so many options. They have a big food menu, keep breakfast available all day, and have a few less traditional bagel options. All also major positives in my eyes! I went for a sausage egg and cheese on a sun dried tomato bagel. Nothing ground breaking quality wise but absolutely hit the spot on what I was looking for. Overall, this is exactly what I'd hope for in a neighborhood coffee shop and wish more places like it were available around the country! I know it was busy but took 35 minutes to make 2 breakfast sandwiches. Also served other sandwiches that were ordered after ours. Then I added an extra egg which was $1.50 and was never put on my sandwich. My wife got the Northampton which has mozzarella cheese and that was never put on for her. This has happened many times to me and I give them the benefit of the doubt because they are very good tasting. But when you're paying $20 for two breakfast sandwiches you mine as well go to your favorite breakfast diner and you'll get the sandwiches you want for half the cost. read more

Waiting 35+ minutes for two breakfast sandwiches and 2 easy drinks is ridiculous especially since we were there within 10 minutes of opening. If this were an isolated incident, I would be far more understanding. However, this was the third time as I had foolishly thought that we should give them another chance (3 in 1.5 years) and we won't be back. On top of the horrific wait time, the person making our sandwiches had dirty fingernails - on what level is that ok for a food service worker? I am truly appalled at the lack of customer service and the lack of attention to cleanliness. I had no idea this was a chain of coffee roasters until I was searching for coffee near me and several came up. This was located in Greenfield and actually had a parking lot (we parked on the street with no issue though). I loved the selection at the store. Tons of interesting blends and displays. I ended up picking up a stocking stuffer holiday coffee that I'm tempted to take for myself and make as it sounds good! We decided to get a holiday cold brew. This is an impressive drink as it comes with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles on the top. The flavor was Christmas. I could taste orange notes and eggnog and cinnamon and nutmeg. It was all over the place which was really cool and near the end not so great as it really got muddled and just tasted like cinnamon coffee at the end. The first 3/4s of the drink was holiday perfection though. They had several different holiday drinks that I would try if in the area, especially the sugar plum coffee which sounded perfect. Omg my belly and my heart are so happy!! I've been traveling for work and was dying for some good java after failing miserably in northern NY and northern vt. This place was amazing!! The woman at the counter was so nice to me and went over all of the food and coffee options. She asked me if I wanted 2 shots or 3 in my latte which made me love her even more. They have stevia which is also a bonus in my book. They just put out a tray of freshly baked cinnamon twists that looked amazing. I also got a turkey bacon sandwich which comes with either chips or a side salad. I asked her if I could have an extra pickle instead and she said no problem! What a truly lovely experience. However, the place was pretty disorganized and dirty. The bathroom was filthy. There were open cleaning supplies in the bathroom. The counter area looked like a hundred people just passed through. I do love coffee roasters but this location is very cramped. I feel like I'm always in someone's way, or standing in what I believe is the line only to find out it's two people just waiting for their order. The food is amazing. I usually get the Greenfield which has a nice spice to it with their jalapeño cream cheese. They come up with very unique sandwiches for everyone. They have vegetarian options too. Although everything is amazing at Coffee Roasters they are a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for which is high quality sandwiches and coffee. Another downfall of this location is the outside parking. Sadly there is very limited parking as it's on a busy street. I typically go in the mornings so I'm not sure how the afternoon staff is but the morning staff is usually the same people and are very friendly. They tend to remember who you are and your order, which can make stopping before work really easy. read more

Today I decided to branch out and try this little coffee shop out. This was a great choice because their French Vanilla iced coffee is delicious. They had an incredible selection of pastries, bagels, and chocolates. I got a Hadley breakfast sandwich on an Asiago bagel and thought it was phenomenal! The staff was extremely polite. And the atmosphere was great! They had some great oldies playing on the radio, and the employees were singing along as they worked. The other cool thing about this shop is that they have this interesting card system for frequent customers. They tape their cards to the wall which I thought was great. The only downside to the shop is that it has limited street parking, which made it difficult during the rush this morning. read more
