I have gluten issues (but they use sourdough bagels from Comfort bagels - which I can digest just fine!), and they also have gluten free Linzer tortes, which I had to try and I was not disappointed! The rest of my party shared a big black and white cookie (see picture), and maybe most important of all, their coffee was universally liked by all of us, which I don't think has ever happened before. It is an open, airy and bright floor plan - great for a long conversation. And they play great music as well. Cool vibes, as the kids say. It's hard to give up some of our business with Jake's, but Lichter & Levin is immediately very high on my list for brunch, or maybe even linner!! Check them out - even you shiksas and goys!
