    I called for an appt, with a PPO and in their network. She didn't think the services needed were what they offered and hung up on me.

During…read moreHurricane Milton, I arrived early to an appointment in error so I asked if I could be seen sooner. I was told no, so I left--only to be called maybe an hour later and asked to come in early because the office was closing early in preparation for the hurricane. When I explained that this was exactly what I had requested, I was dismissed with no empathy or accountability. Thankfully, my referring dentist stepped in to smooth things over. Based on my trust in her, I gave the office another chance here we are today--took time off work and only to be told they couldn't verify my insurance because the company was "on lunch," and that they'd been trying to contact them (which wasn't true). I expressed my concerns and was told I could return after lunch. I said I wouldn't be returning at all. No apology. No attempt by the provider to speak to me, despite knowing the prior issue. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and communication is unacceptable. I would not recommend this office.

At this point I truly believe they are just being spiteful. Edit: as of Jan 2nd 2026 I still do not have my night guard nor do I have my $250 back. They informed me on Wed December 31st that I would receive my $250 back on Friday Jan 2nd. Well they called today and told me they are refusing to refund my money because now all of the sudden the check from the insurance company is lost in the mail. The lies these people tell is horrific. So now I have to filed a dispute with my credit card company and I won't be receiving the night guard that was already paid for by insurance because they said I HAVE to come in and pay for another appointment just to pick up the night guard so they can charge more money to my insurance company. They will probably want another $250 deposit for that appt as well. The fact that ya'll couldn't even do the right thing today was mind blowing. Hope the $250 was worth it. I'll also be reporting you all to my insurance as well. Where do I begin? I made an appointment to be seen for my jaw. I broke my jaw back in 2012 and it did not heal correctly. The doctor would only do a physical exam and refused to look at any imaging including my CT scan. In order to make this appt I had to put down a $50 deposit that I was suppose to receive back the same day as my appt. They decided to keep the $50 on file to go towards my next appt. Now here's where things get weird. I was told over and over and over again that my night guard was 100% covered by my insurance as well as the visit. How ever when I went to make my appt for the night guard impression I was told I could not make the appt without putting down another $200 on top of the $50 they already had on file. I asked them why despite the fact my insurance was covering everything in full. They claimed I couldn't make the appt without the deposit. So I reluctantly made the appt with the deposit based on the fact that the receptionist stated I would receive my deposit back the same day as my appt. I asked her roughly 7 times and she stated each time I would receive my FULL deposit back the same day as my impression appt. Well here we are 5 and a half weeks later and I still do not have my deposit back. When I called and spoke to the office the woman on the phone told me she couldn't refund my deposit because they didn't know whether insurance was covering my night guard or not. WHAT?!?! I clarified with them 10 times about the coverage for the night guard and each time I was told that it was 100% covered by my insurance. She then told me someone from billing would call me back with in 48 hours, that was 2 weeks ago. Now, I've left two messages over the past two weeks with no response back from them. I went ahead and called my insurance. Well my insurance told me they have ZERO claims sent in by this office and had no idea what I was talking about. So now I'm out $250, they are refusing to respond, they have not filed anything with my insurance and I do not have my night guard.
