I used to go to Dellagio years ago, however I lost my insurance... when I got insurance again, years later, I was upset to see that it wasn't accepted at Dellagio and started going to Greenberg Dental with my fiancé. Our experiences at Greenberg were always horrible and I kept saying how much I missed Dellagio, so when the time came to change my insurance, I made sure to get an insurance that would be accepted at Dellagio for my fiancé and me. First time back today, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. All of the staff are super knowledgeable and you can tell they really do care for their patients. Kara and Paria made my fiancé and me feel completely aware of what needs to be done to keep our teeth healthy and took such great care of us. Multitasking at its finest! Whatever dental needs you have, please RUN FAR AWAY from this office. They don't care about patients and their needs, entire office is trained to upsell as much as possible. Every appointment I ever had was late and if I had to see the doctor I had to wait additional time because they over-schedule to make more money. When I was getting services covered by insurance they would still try to offer me things I "need" that are not covered. During my last visit they denied me a regular cleaning covered by insurance because "based on my treatment plan" I need that extra cleaning, not covered by insurance. So basically for my own money that I'm paying I am not even allowed to participate in choosing the best and most affordable treatment plan. Maybe I didn't had money for extra cleaning? NO ONE CARED, they denied the service/cleaning anyway. They placed a crown on a infected tooth which resulted in heavy bone infection 6 months later and I had to have my tooth extracted and implant placed, which cost $5000. Since the crown is still under warranty, I am forced to go back to doctor Conibear, even though I am afraid and I don't trust her. She doesn't take patient's feedback into consideration and I am honestly very uncomfortable getting treatment from her and her team. But unfortunately crown is already paid for and I can't go anywhere else now, so wish me luck, God knows what else will go wrong. The best part is when they make you sign the waiver that they are not responsible if you get Covid during visit, but the hygienist is constantly touching her radio to communicate with other offce associates and then putting hands back into your mouth without any cleaning and disinfecting. RUN from this place. I had a root canal and a crown done here in August 2021 by Dr. Conibear. When the dentist cemented my permanent crown, she broke it but still cemented it on my tooth. Because I needed to move to another city soon, I didn't have time to wait for them to order me a new crown. The root canal she did was also horrible. I started seeing a new dentist after the move. My new dentist was shocked by how bad the root canal was. My new dentist informed me that because the root canal and the crown were so poorly done, I already had infections and needed to see an endodontist to save that tooth. I have already spent $1,000 after insurance to get that tooth treated at Dellagio Dentist. Now I need to spend even more to see a specialist and get it re-treated. read more

I used to really enjoy going here. They were attentive and I felt well taken care of. Lately it has been disorganized. My appointment last time "fell off" of their schedule. I consistently have waited over 45 minutes the last two times I came for an appointment. Their billing system is disorganized. Sometimes, an off-site answering service answers. This can happen even during office hours. Apparently they are not authorized to take credit card information offsite. They did take my credit card number and then when I called back asking why I wasn't charged for the outstanding bill, the office said that the offsite individuals should not have taken my information and it was never entered into a system. This doesn't seem very trustworthy or safe that my personal information was collected by someone who should not have had it Unfortunately I locked into an Invisalign contract and cannot change dentists at this time. They charged me money and sent it to collections. Said they tried and called me. But I did not get anything. Called to pay them and was waiting for a return call. But never got that either. Very unorganized! I called about wanting to schedule a routine teeth cleaning and asked how much and I couldn't get an answer. Receptionist said it depends on how much tartar you have and how many different x-rays you need, so we can't tell you a price. First time in my entire life have I ever got this kind of answer or non-answer... like what you have to make an appointment to get a free quote on how much it will cost to clean your teeth, ridiculous! It's not like I'm asking how much do you charge to install tile flooring throughout my house. It should be standard how much a new patient exam and cleaning costs. read more

The crowns they gave me were not placed correctly, resulting in decay and food getting in between my crown and actual tooth. After only 4 years of having the crowns, i decided to go back to see if they would fix the problem or at least give me a partial refund. Good crowns last 10-20 years depending on the dentist. They refused, and wanted to charge me to have the crowns replaced. They're money hungry and will resort to bad dentistry just to nickle and dime and squeeze every last penny out of consumers (not patients since they don't see us this way). The dentist who ruined my mouth is not even with this dental office anymore, so sadly i'm out of $6,000. Not a good price to pay for more trauma to my teeth and a dentist who doesn't give a crap about their patients, only money. read more

I've been to Dellagio Dentist one time so far, back in January. My next visit is scheduled for next week, and will likely be my last. Before I get into why, let me give you the positives: The office is extremely nice, clean, and the receptionist was extremely kind and welcoming. First impressions are good, and that's one thing Dellagio gets right. As soon as I stepped beyond the reception door and headed back to see a hygienist, I started seeing the negatives, and boy were there plenty. From the moment I sat down, the hygienist started trying to up-sell me on various services. I'm not joking, I've never felt like a "customer" in any healthcare professional's office until I visited Dellagio Dentist. The hygienist was extremely kind, and I won't fault her for doing her job, but this was a problem. Before she even began looking in my mouth, she was telling me all about Invisalign (which aren't even needed...I have completely straight teeth and have never needed braces), sedation options in case I was nervous, and oral cancer screenings. The cleaning itself too an extremely long time and, from what I can tell, for no good reason. My teeth weren't in terrible shape, I was only getting a cleaning, and the place wasn't busy. Once the hygienist was finished, she went to get Doctor Badger. I was one of (if not THE) first patient in the office that morning, yet I waited for an excessively long time for the doctor to come by. When he finally did decide to show up, I had to sit through a spiel on how important an oral cancer screening was for me and how affordable it would be. After refusing MULTIPLE times, he finally said he would do it anyway and just write it off. Whatever, fine. Doctor Badger then pestered me about a filling that "looked bad" and said I'd need to come in for a root canal right away. Now, this is an older filling and may be going bad, but by this point in my appointment, I've had enough of Doctor Badger and staff doing their up-selling routine and, frankly, don't even trust a word he is saying. By the time I left the office, I had been there for over three hours. THREE HOURS. I was the first appointment and first patient in the office (at 7:00 AM, no less), yet was still in the chair for THREE HOURS. I'm always one to give a second chance, though, which is why I'm going back next week for another appointment. We'll see how things go this time around, but if my first visit was any indication, I'll likely be at a different dentist next year. If you want your dentist experience to feel like visiting a used car lot, Dellagio Dentist is the place for you! The staff see you as a customer and you can practically see the dollar signs flashing in their eyes. Up-selling (some unnecessary) services left and right, not taking no for an answer, and even finally agreeing to offer you your "first one for free" (talking about the cancer screening). This place is truly the used car lot of dentistry. Oh, and the icing on the cake? They signed me up for their email list without my knowledge. Now I'm getting semi-frequent advertisements about Invisalign and other services they want me to purchase. Do yourself a favor: Go somewhere else. read more

WORST DENTIST IN THE STATE!! Stay far away if possible. I too have been told every time I visit I need Invisalign or my teeth would start hurting blah blah blah! A week ago I went in for bad tooth pain. The dental hygienist (if you can call her that) took 10 X-rays of that side of my mouth! 10! She finally had to get another hygienist to take it. She said that my tooth looks cracked. Once the doctor came in (blonde female that never smiles) all she said was that I need Invisalign!!! Cause my teeth were crowded and that's why it hurt. After that she made the newbie floss my teeth which she said to double to floss and put a knot in it. I don't care if you don't have teeth issues that is way too thick to floss with. Once the newbie hit that problem tooth I jerked with pain. Blonde doctor comes back in just to file on painful tooth. Cut to this morning. Tooth still hurts and I'm brushing my teeth. Something is floating in my mouth. Oh behold part of my tooth fell out ( a filling that they had put in two years ago!) so now when ever I eat or drink I feel like someone is putting a nail in my gums. Found another dentist and he says I have TWO rotting teeth!!! So the old filling and the tooth next to it. I called dellagio and told them I'm filing a complaint and that I will never be back again! If you want all your teeth to be healthy, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Who cares how modern it looks. That is not what dentists are for. read more

I have been going to this dentist for years. I've never been too thrilled with the practice, but since I only go twice a year I just dealt with it. For years I have been pressured to get cancer screenings, fluoride and Invisalign even though my teeth are perfectly straight. Sometimes I would get fluoride just because I felt pressured to. My visit this Monday will be my last with this practice, for many reasons. 1) My appointment was scheduled at 9:00 AM. I arrived at 8:50, and was not called back until 9:45. I had new insurance and was told that this was the reason my appointment was so late. There is no logical reason it should take 45 minutes to update insurance. They finally took me back after I threatened to leave and go to another dentist. I was extremely irritated because this was during my workday and I was not getting paid. 2) Since moving to the new practice, the hygienists have all started wearing radios to communicate. I thought it was kind of strange, but whatever. What bothered me was my hygienist was talking on her radio to other hygienists my entire appointment! I thought this was incredibly unprofessional. What was worse though, was she was touching the button on her radio with her gloved hand, and would then place it back in my mouth. I have a VERY hard time believing they disinfect their radios after every patient. This is extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. 3) At the end of my cleaning, I was told Dr. Peters would be completing the appointment. After about 5 minutes, the hygienist was told Dr. Peters was unavailable and another dentist would finish the appointment. No big deal. A few minutes later, I was informed dentist #2 was unavailable and #3 would be there shortly. 5 minutes later I was informed dentist #3 may not be available, and if she wasn't they would "look at my X-rays after I left." In the probably 25 years I've been going to the dentist, I have never been told that a dentist would be unable to evaluate me after a cleaning. The third dentist did eventually become available but at that point the damage had been done. Overall, this dentist is unorganized, unsanitary and not very efficient. read more

If you're looking for very trendy dental care, this is your place. The office is very hip, with huge smiling model posters with all ethnicities. There is a cool TV in the waiting room and even chilled bottled water for patients. The dental chairs are comfortable, and there is a LCD TV stationed at each dental chair. I actually went to find out about invisalign. I was told by a very straightforward dentist that invisalign was probably not going to solve my issues which I appreciated. I was not charged for the visit. Everyone seemed very professional and king. I'm just wondering how much all the extra flair would translate in dental bills. Apparently this is a new office location near Bravo! restaurant near Sand Lake. It seems as if there are a lot of empty space available for businesses so it's kinda creepy, and it may be hard to find. There are signs to direct you however. You'll need to park in a lower level parking garage. Just make sure to give yourself time to actually find the office, park, and make your way upstairs. read more

What a nice office :-) It is located in the Dr. Phillips area and in a beautiful complex. The office itself is located on the second level on the east side of the building. It was a little hard to get to for a first timer, but just give yourself a couple extra minutes. Once you are inside, they have coffee and water in the waiting room...right...coffee at a Dentist??? exactly what i thought, but hey...lets do it. The staff was very very very nice. The receptionist was very professional and welcoming. She stood up, introduced herself, and shook my hand. WHAT A PLUS :-) The hygienists that I had and saw in the office were all very young as well as the Dentist herself. It was a very odd feeling for the first few minutes, because I had never been in a dentist office where anyone was under 40. But hey...look at me, I am a new professional and am very young as well. I specifically went to the office for a cleaning and exam. I was a little displease with the cleaning. They didn't use a scaler or floss on my teeth which was very odd. Yes, they used a cavitron and polished my teeth, but I never made a visit to a dentist office where they didn't floss my teeth for me and then make me feel bad for not flossing myself. But hey, I have another cleaning again in 4 months, i will just have to try another hygienist. Overall, beautiful office, professional staff, and beautiful teeth. See you in august. read more

Dr Conibear has been our family's dentist for several years now. I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. The dental assistants and dental hygienists are all excellent. We've had all of our regular dental visits, Invisaligns and emergency visits there. She is the hardest working dentist I have ever seen and she truly cares about her patients. I've been going to this Dentist for a few years now and have noticed a huge improvement in their customer service. I use to sit for almost 30 minutes before I was called back. Now it's almost before I sit down. Not sure how people are giving it a 1 star. But yelp is mostly for complainers anyway. Dr. Badger and Dr. Connebear (not sure if I spelt it right) are both Highly knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable while sitting in the chair. That's saying a lot, because I hate going to the dentist! The assistants are very polite, and the front desk team is as well. I started invisilign with a different office and switched to this office for their convenient location to my work. As long as you take care of your teeth and listen to what the doctor tells you to do and wear your invisiligns like you're supposed to, everything goes great. I had very crowded teeth and could barely fit Floss in between them, now, I can floss with ease. Overall this office is great! Plus if you do wait, you're not watching a terrible news station; they have it on HGTV! Who doesn't love that? read more

I just had a wonderful experience yesterday at the Dellagio Dentist. I've weirdly bit on an apple and I thought I bent the titanium screw in my gum for which I am going to have an implant. Turns out I didn't bend it I just bruised my gum when an apple chunk accidentally went in the space with pressure there. The ex-Ray showed I was okay. I had my cleaning and everything was good and very pleasant. So far I've had nothing but good experiences. It's been 6 weeks since I have started using Invisalign braces. Piece of cake. I should have done this years ago. They are very comfortable. They did a great job making them. Get the little hook thingy from Amazon to get them out in two seconds. Shout out to Jamie and Rohain! With so many traumatic incidents that I've experienced at many different dentist throughout my life, I learned to put off the visits unless there was extreme pain or bleeding gums. Well, not anymore. I've finally found a place that makes the experience quite relaxing and pain free. I now go for all my scheduled cleanings and have lost that feeling of dread. I've had four wisdom teeth pulled out and absolutely nothing bad came of it. I've seen both Doctors(Dr. Service and Dr. Coniber) and they eased any anxiety that I may have felt, answered all of my questions and made me feel as though my teeth were important. I especially enjoy the time I spend with my hygienist Jamie, she keeps my mind off of the procedures and her attention to detail is amazing. She always has a upbeat attitude and greets me very pleasantly even though sometimes I'm cranky. read more

I had 2 crowns and a root canal....the root canal wasn't done correctly and had to be redone....they drilled through the new crown which caused it to break in less than 6 months...Neither of my crowns were set right and I ended up having to go to another dentist to get them fixed......Not only did this happen to me but it happened to the other 2 people I know who went there......they also had to have crowns completely remade and one of them was told they needed braces and botox......and she had already had braces......this place is scam city and is horrible dental work. the other dentist i went to said my crown was "a joke of dental work"........ read more

Chose this dentist because they were on my list of dentist with our Insurance, when we re-located to Fl. We liked the group, however after we moved both my mother and I each went to Dentist who was closer to our homes. This was a very bad idea. My new dentist said I had a cavity and my mothers told her that they could not replace the crown which fell off when she ate a sticky Carmel candy. That practice in Lake Nona was such a rip off. They over charged my mother, did X-rays when she did not need them just to charge her more money. They also gave her a treatment she did not need. I hate when older patients are taken advantage of. Dellagio was kind and did not take advantage of either of us! We both returned to Dellagio, thank goodness. I did not have a cavity. Dr Condibear fixed my mothers crown and re-glued it after making an adjustment or two. Then my 90+ year old Mom chipped her front tooth a couple of weeks later. She got dental insurance and just got both of her front teeth capped. The other front tooth was cracked as well. But hey she is almost 91 and still has her own teeth. The office and staff have been great. The people who are writing bad reviews most likely have other issues like owing money to the practice. If you have a problem speak directly with one of the doctors. Before my mother got dental insurance the dentist offered her a reduced rate for the crowns because she is on a fixed income. I use to be an infection control nurse. Needless to say I am a germ nut! I have not observed a break in infection control by the staff, which I noted another person complained about. I absolutely would never recommend this office. If we had an appointment the office would start calling us 3 weeks in advance to confirm the appointment. They would continue to heckle us via phone and email until we confirmed the appointment. If we didn't have something scheduled they would send us notices in the mail, Phone and email even after we asked them to stop. When we would arrive for an appointment on time they were always running behind sometimes I has to wait 30min to an hour after my appointment time to be seen. During my first visit they came up with a huge list of things that needed to be done and that all of my previous work needed to be replaced because it was old. They pressured me into paying 5k for in Invisalign and after 14 months of treatment my teeth are about the same as when I started. The main reason we stopped going here as my husband WOKE up during his wisdom teeth removal when Dr B. His wisdom teeth were never bothering him but they kept insisting that they come out. They said he would not remember anything, but he did remember the excruciating pain that he was in and how long it took them to get him back to sleep. Never ever go to this dentist, we finally had to lie to them and tell them that we're moving out of the area to get them to stop calling us. read more

As a new patient, I made two appointments with two different receptionists specifically requesting Dr. Badger whom I was referred to. I got to my appointment, waited 50 minutes to be seen and was then told I would be seeing another dentist, that Dr. Badger is out on personal leave. The classic bait and switch! Both receptionists knew Dr. Badger was not working and should have told me up front. That is totally out of integrity. I complained to the manager, canceled my other appointment and walked out. If I could give fewer stars, I would! Once your in the chair, they tell you how bad your mouth is and how much work you will need done. A first (and last) visit to them cost me almost $700 -all that was completed was x-rays and a "deep" cleaning of my bottom teeth. Looking online, that procedure was about 3 times what it should have been. And that was with a discount! Also, since I said no to Invisaline, they told me that my teeth would fall out. I was initially very impressed by the team of dentist and hygienist. The front desk team was another story. But going in now this location is very unconcerned and disrespectful of your time. I work for Disney, if you are late 2 min it counts against you and after explaining the seriousness of it they assured me they would be a little early and get me out quick. They didn't start on my appointment until 45 min past time scheduled time and then still were in no rush. I was not 2 min but 35 late to work. I also had an issue after that I called to check in on and left a message since no one answered, it was never returned. They mirror my expereince.] This place reminded me of the nice looking auto repair shops that end up costing you a fortune and then give you used equipment that they wiped to look clean. Darlene (Yelp comment on 8/22/2011) called them a dental factory. That is a reasonable expression for what I saw. Where I come from, Dentists are respected and are expected to carry themselves with a certain level of professionalism. I guess this place never got the official notice. The most shocking reality? I had ONLY Thirty minutes spent with a dentist for what totaled $3,000 of work!? Incredulous! I could not believe the speed and reckless abandon the dentist flew through the drilling. The smell of overheated teeth... The dust that made it hard to breathe... The assistants who gossiped IN THE ROOM while I was cringing in pain. I finally got the nerve to double check the prices (why is this not easier?!) and found that I was charged almost twice what I could have had the services done for. Without the rush... Once the dentist was finished, he did not say anything. No "Thank you." No "How was it?" He got up and rushed out of the room. NEVER AGAIN! They are overpriced and do not have a modicum of professionalism. They have a CHEAP initial visit with x-rays. Go there for that and go ELSEWHERE for the service. I went in for a $59.00 cleaning and walked out with a $9,000 estimate of all the work they said I needed to have done the hygentist was pushing to start all the work immediately. I saw the dentist for about 5 minutes and then left to the cleaning lady to up sell all my dental work. When I said I would have to come back I got a 10 minute cleaning and she said "she ran out of dental floss!". I have been trying to get the xrays from them to go somewhere else and they keep forgetting to send me the form to sign so I can pick them up. Avoid this place! read more

I called last year to have it fixed or replaced only to find out that my Orthodontist(East Orlando) had past away and his office had closed. It was a very sad loss for many! Let me first say that I have never done a review on any company. I'm very easy to please and never have felt the need to give a negative review...ever! Until now. I echo each and every word Kirt A. said. The staff was very nice and professional...but trying to up sell every chance she could. She also never stated what the price would be. Within minutes of sitting in the chair, Dr. Badger told me I needed Invisalign. I had braces for several years and my teeth are perfectly straight. I was also there for 3 full hours. I too have never felt like a customer at a dentist office, but before I left the woman who handles the financial portion of the office came by with a calculator in hand with what my treatment plan should be. Over $5,000. In the past 10 years my cleanings (with insurance) have always been $18, here it was over $100 with the same insurance. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Stay away!! If you need your health, stay away from this dentistry. Terrible dentist, terrible office, terrible everything and over charges. Do not be fooled by their smiles and fake kind behavior. When you go to this office you will go for a check up and leave with a years worth of work on your teeth. No compassion at all. It was a big mistake to come to this office and to tell my family to come, they are absolutely terrible. They over charge, do not give them your bank account information because they take the money like a buffet, that's how much their love for money is over their customer. A couple times i went to the office, the office smelled like bad food, their bathroom is filthy, a shelters bathroom is more clean than theirs. Plus i do not think they sanitize their equipment very good so after being at their dentist i had to do so many tests like STDS, HIV, and all kinds of different tests. That's how dirty the place is. If i didn't start i would go to a different dentist but already they reached our minimum for insurance and then started taking money like a buffet from my credit card. I was a patient at Dellagio for over 6 years. Dr. Conibear is a great Dentist. She is compassionate, thorough and doesn't push un-necessary procedures. The techs and hygienists are also great. I used to recommend this office to anyone who was looking for a new dentist, most of my family went here from my recommendation. Unfortunately the front office staff is so unprofessional and rude that I have decided to find a new Dentist. They have cancelled or re-scheduled my last 3 appointments without my consent and every time acted as though this was my problem to figure out, not offering me any solution except to re-schedule weeks later. My last surprise re-scheduled appointment was the last straw, I asked to speak with the office manager multiple times but was told she's not available or not there, I asked what the name of the office manager was and they wouldn't tell me! I had to keep calling to get someone who could address these issues (someone named Mary finally called me back after multiple calls and messages left) and I was still not given my original appointment time back. I was offered nothing as a long time patient to make up for these issues. The tone and language used by the woman I spoke with most recently (her name is Christina) left a lot of be desired as a patient. She was incredibly rude to me. I also overheard her while I was in the waiting room talking to a patient on the phone very nasty and then when she put the patient on hold complained to the other employees about the patient wanting to speak with someone. If you don't want to help the patients and don't want to talk to people then you shouldn't be in a customer service job! Your patients make these appointments months in advance and ask time off from work. Patients are going to need to speak with the staff, have some compassion. It's extremely inconvenient to be told last minute that your appointment is changed or cancelled every time not to mention being spoken to like you are the in the wrong. These issues have forced me and my family to leave this office and find a new Dentist who will actually keep our appointments and treat us with respect. A bit overpriced and although generally polite, if you have any sort of confusion/discrepancy you'll basically be told that you're lying. Only here for the end of my invisalign, which is also very expensive compared to other places. The actual dental team is quite kind, but the people at the front desk will smile and repeat information to you if you do not agree, and will not attempt to resolve issues adrquately but instead insist you are incorrect. If I could give 0 or negative starts that would be more appropriate. This place is the worst service I've ever had in my life. No organization no communication no one has any idea what is going on with their clients. Went in for a cleaning and ended up with a nine month long procedure for an extraction of the tooth. After countless visits each time seem to be a new hidden charge that I needed to pay. After spending well over $9000 I still continue to receive bills. Was guaranteed after finishing the procedure my teeth would look as good as veneers. Each time visiting the office and telling them that I have concerns of the way that my tooth looks they continued to tell me to give it time and it would get better. It has not my one tooth that I've replaced is much shorter than the rest of my teeth and looks awful. And their solution was to shave down the rest of my teeth or to get an entirely new implant.
