Hanover has the good stuff! As a Quincy resident we are lucky to have some phenomenal restaurants close by. Hanover is another city that also has some excellent places to dine and 3Brothers Grill is just one of them! Met some girlfriends here just a few days after that nasty blizzard and the reason for mentioning it, parking was tough, but the restaurant was very busy. Upon arrival, the place is very modern and looks brand new. I think our server said they have been there for 2 years now. Same owners as Brothers Roast Beef in Quincy and numerous South Shore cities, which was new information to me. We all had some drinks and then ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip which was okay. My only complaint is it wasn't whole chicken pieces, it was more of shredded chicken but still not bad. We all ordered salads. I got the Greek Chicken salad which was good. My friends also had salads and there were plenty of leftovers to bring home. I couldn't resist their banana fosters bread pudding! It was delicious. The bar area is perfect to watch sports games with their big screen TVs. I know I will be back for sure sometime. If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking this restaurant out. Shockingly good! Pulled in on a whim, truffle fries were absolutely perfect, bone-in buffalo wings were legit. Great sauce, cooked perfectly. Staff was quick and nice. Fried fish sandwich was exactly what yoiud expect from a non-seafood spot. Points for a really good Brioche bun though. Chix parm sandwich was also excellent. Attention to detail made some run of the mill plates worth their cost. Not expensive, but not sandwich shop prices either . Will def be back when in the area! read more

We had a 3.5 hour break in the afternoon between basketball games at Starland and decided to try this place. What a GEM! We had 6 kids, 7 adults in our party. Kids sat seperately as it was their preference. Their ages are like 13/14. Staff was super accommodating. Absolutely great staff. Both tables had servers that paid attention to our needs and let us spend the time there we wanted to be there. We hung out for a while after eating and watched the Patriots. Food was fantastic. Drinks were great too. Desert was amazing! No complaints at our table. Pizzas Flatbread Steak tips and eggs Ruben Wraps Egg rolls Fried cauliflower was particularly fantastic in sweet chili sauce. I've had some of the better Mediterranean food on the south shore here. Not saying much I know, but these guys have the opportunity to corner that market instead of doing whatever they are doing now. Went the other day for the 3rd time this month. The only reason I have came here is because it's convenient for a bite to eat after Golf X. The same bar tender is flat out rude. Her attitude and demeanor just suck. Poor people skills. The food is below mid. $19 for a sandwich/wrap is not super overpriced nowadays but cmon man you charge $20+ flatbreads and most entrees are around $35 for it to just suck. We've been coming to Bothers weekly for about 5 years, service, drinks and food always great. Recently, drinks have been terrible. Last night, took about 20 minutes to get our drinks, coming out one at a time. When asked why, said bartender was busy.. but the bar was empty. He was not even trying. We had been twice before with one good visit and the other being below average. Our "deciding" visit was disappointing at best. Both hostesses were unfriendly. one on her cell phone and the other with her back to customers made all of us in line feel like we were a bother and she was doing us a favor. We ordered scallop and shrimp appetizer. no sear on the scallops. I had seafood risotto and my dining partner had vegetable risotto. One word for the chef - SEASONING. Both dishes were bland. The risotto was nothing more than undercooked white rice. While the shrimp was cooked well, the shallops had no seasoning or flavor at all. Perhaps the chef is untrained at preparing seafood. Based on this experience I will no longer recommend this restaurant to my friends lest I would be misleading them. read more

Good location, parking not great, the food is average at best, nothing is going to blow you away except for the noise level. It's always just so damn loud in there, no insulation to the metal roof - so everything vibrates off that. On top of that, they blare the music. Parking: small lot in front but larger one behind the building with an entrance back there too. Decor: very stylish and clean without all the tacky stuff you would expect on the walls. Staff: very friendly and attentive to your needs, but not overly attentive which is perfect! Bar: very comfy stools, beautiful counter. Also a very good wine list too! Food: excellent, from the apps to entrees, they did not disappoint. Very good classic American food. Had the braised short rib and it was delicious. Service was ok we came in a bit of a larger party and we called on our way there for a table and they got us a table surprisingly quickly for a Saturday night. But for any drinks or whatnot I feel like it took awhile to get them but otherwise our server was fantastic. read more

Sunday brunch was a hit! Their French toast was sweet fluffy and perfect amount of crisp. The service was also really good, no complaints there as our waitress was attentive. The music and tv's showing the current games were not too loud and obstructive. Great location to stop for brunch read more

Want to give more stars but each time we go there, seems always a problem. The bartender is a bit snarky and rude, not sure why..... We went in recently and my husband ordered a burger rare, very rare. What he got was medium rare, he ate it anyway as he is not one to complain. Server was lovely and very nice, but left our plates on the table forever after we were done eating. Basically had to clear our own plates and pile everything up on the end, just hoping she would take the hint. Restaurant was not overly busy...... rest of the food was decent. read more

We were in the area and needed a light dinner before getting on the road to head home. I had yelped, and while the rating wasn't super high, the online menu looked intriguing! We ordered the scallop and shrimp app and the fig and goat cheese flatbread. The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection and laid on top of a cauliflower puree and bacon jam crumble thing. The puree was quite bland on its own, but with the bacony goodness, it was yummy! The flatbread was crusty and chewy, with a cravable fig jam and balsamic glaze. The goat cheese was baked, and I wish it would have been sprinkled on after it was cooked; it lost a lot of its creaminess and tang because it was cooked. We asked for some crushed red pepper because it is on the sweeter side, so the hit of heat really balanced it out. Service was excellent at the bar! read more

We really liked it. We sat at the bar. Service was great - the bartender was the right amount of attentive, patient, helpful, and knew the menu very well. Food was spot on. We didn't order entrees but I had the pastrami sandwich with a greek salad instead of fries - the sandwich was tasty and stuffed with more meat than other similar local places, and the greek salad was super fresh. My wife had the fish and chips - lightly battered, good portion size and very (very) fresh tasting. Yum. I had an Absolut and soda, and she had a regular marg. Good pours and good prices. The feel is casual but it's def not a dive. The bar area has that sports bar thing going on. There's booth/table seating in the bar area and also a quieter, separate dining room. tried 3brothers out this weekend and thought it was really good! The service was great, our server was attentive and everything came out pretty quickly. It was a nice environment- busy but not too loud! The drinks were great, the salted caramel martini was my favorite, but the pecan pie and the skrewball mudslide were good too. We got the bruschetta which was pretty good and the fried pickles which were great- you could tell the pickles were fresh and the batter wasn't too thick. First they just had us waiting 15 minutes for an app, then hour for food with 3 kids restless to eat at 630pm to a half empty dining room. Food arrived at 750pm? Why? Never had water refilled had to ask repeatedly for our meals. Oh sorry your third in line??? What after an hour you haven't cooked our order yet? Food was not particularly great, my seafood combo had about 2oz piece of fish broiled 3-shrimp and 3 scallops. Looked like they threw on the fries like it was a pile but clearly zero care. Lame. Happy to give a bump on a recent visit when I discovered a hidden marvel on the menu: those steak and cheese egg rolls! These things are thicc with shaved steak and cream cheese, mushrooms, onions and peppers. First time here. Got the mac and cheese with short rib. On presentation, it looked awesome but that is where it ended. 95% of my cheese was MIA and the short rib was dried and over cooked. We also got the nachos which were decent but had minimal chili on them. The shrimp scampi was ok and the linguini alfredo was just ok as well. The only thing saving the third star was the service and the clam chowder which was really good. The waitress was on point. We would most likely go back for a drink only and maybe try a different app. read more

Server was prompt and fast. Had perfect knowledge of the menu, didn't write anything down and nailed what we wanted and we threw it all at her at once. Nice ambiance, not too noisy with calming neutral colors. I would recommend the fish tacos, and New England clam chowder (it actually has clams in it). The fish tacos have a generous portion of fried fish that is refreshing and light without being too greasy. For the main course we had the Brothers famous roast beef with the horseradish sauce. The sauce was nice and tangy as it should be and the roast beef was perfectly tender. Also tried the seafood risotto. I'm picky when it comes to seafood but I can happily say the shrimp, scallops, and fish where all cooked to perfection. The shrimp were tender and not chewy, the scallops had a nice pop to them with a nice flavorful crust. The fish was seasoned nice and was fluffy but not too dry. The chefs risotto was on point.
