My husband and I have had such awful experiences in the past with contractors that we were very hesitant to call anyone to get an estimate on work that needed to be done in our house. But since we could not do the work ourselves, we scheduled several appointments with different contractors for estimates. Upon meeting Bill of LevitStyle, my husband and I felt immediately confident that he was the guy for the job. He knew the ins and out of our Levitt home. He had great ideas on how to finally fix a leak that we have had for 24 years on the flat roof part of the house. He also gave us the idea of adding a mini dormer to the house. We immediately cancelled all other appointments and hired LevitStyle. Bill's son, Will, went with us to the town of Hempstead to apply for the permit. Once approved, LevitStyle did not waste any time, they scheduled demolition immediately. Once they started the work, Bill and Prosper, the job manager, would stop by daily to go over details with us of what was going to be done. They would tell us exactly what to expect every day during the length of job. I must say from start to finish, all of Bill's crew were amazing. They would be there from 7am til late in the evening, working hard, always respectful and courteous. It also helps that their office is two minutes away from our house. From master carpenters, to painters, to electricians, to plumbers and clean up crew, they were all very professional. I loved the fact that I could reach Bill anytime I had any questions or just wait for him to come in the morning. Prosper would be come by two to three times a day just to make sure that everything was satisfactory to us. As with any construction work, you will always have some issues, but with Bill and Posper, whatever minor issues that came up, they were resolved immediately and efficiently. At the end of it all, we absolutely love the work and are very happy that we used Levitstyle. We will definitely recommend them to our friends and family and we will use them again. We first used LevitStyle 2 years ago when we added a dormer to our house in order to give our kids separate and spacious rooms. The workmanship was fantastic, and the crew was more than professional. Most importantly, we felt very comfortable with their work ethic and craftsmanship. LevitStyle has an in-house licensed architect, master builder, and professionals for every trade required for the specific project. The final product was a great addition to our home that was finished within the promised time frame! That's not so common with most remodeling companies. We were so very pleased with LevitStyle, that we recently hired them again to completely remodel our kitchen. This project was a huge undertaking; but nothing they could not handle. The owner of LevitStyle is truly hands on and quite knowledgeable. He visited our home every single day to ensure that everything was running smoothly, and the work was being performed properly in all aspects. Five stars definitely for Levitt Style. We have lived in our Levitt home for almost 30 years and finally decided to go for a kitchen renovation. We picked Levitt Style right after our first meeting with Will. Will was professional, gave no hard sell and had a significant amount of knowledge on the construction of Levitt homes. From the very first day we were so happy with the promptness, politeness, and skill of the crew. Best of all every night they did a great job of cleaning up! Everyone hears horror stories about contractors, but in all honesty we never had any complaints of the five week process. The job gutted down to the walls our kitchen and then we had new floor put in, new plumbing, new electrical, new walls, new backsplash and new cabinets. Along the way we asked for add-ons and they were always priced fairly without any hassles. My husband and I have done many home projects ourselves, so we were very impressed with the level of skill of the grout work in the tiles and the spackle job on the walls - all were smooth as could be! The trim work they did above the cabinets at the ceilings was superb and they even did a beautiful bump-out of the trim work to showcase above the stove/microwave area. I highly recommend to everyone to use LevittStyle. They are local and family owned. They care about the community and it shows. We met with Bill within days of moving into our Levitt Style home for the removal of a chimney that was in the middle of a bedroom on the second floor. With some renovations in mind, I went on & asked him some questions. I immediately knew he was very knowledgeable about Levitt style homes. He got down to the history and even the science of how these houses were built! I felt very confident that the work I needed done would get done RIGHT! We had old panel walls removed and replaced it with sheet rock, new & very beautiful staircase railing and spindles, added hihat lights, new baseboard heater covers, chimney removal with roof & floor patching, and extended the entrance into the den. The old flooring in the living room was terrible! There was literally a hump right in the middle of the living room (where the house was once extended), and towards the back of the house the floor dipped. It felt like we were walking downhill!! They removed the old flooring, and completely evened out the floor and made it flat. They replaced it with nice porcelain tiles (cheaper than doing wood flooring!). They also raised a beam that hung very low in the living room. Living room now looks so much bigger and more brighter! Bottom line, everything was done professionally and beautifully. The work was done in a timely manner, and they clean up well too! Very happy with my end result!!!! read more

We just had a full double dormer with attic added on to our Levit Cape. We had a very tight time frame for this big project and I am so happy to report that it was completely finished with some time to spare!! The LevitStyle team are great! They were at our house working everyday until the job was done. I was nervous because you hear so many stories of contractors starting the job then go MIA just stretching out the time of project being completed. Not this company, I was very happy and felt at ease. The workers are extremely talented and it's nice to see the same guys everyday. Prosper is Fantastic! Always around making sure all is well and there to work out any issues if they arise. Jack and the other workers are extremely talented and really do beautiful work. We were looking for a contractor to add a doghouse dormer to convert an outdated half bath into a full bath. The estimates we received were ridiculously high. After looking into LevitStyle, we signed with this company. The estimate was well below others and we were provided with a full breakdown of the timeline, payments due and what was included. The workers showed up on time every day they were scheduled to work and we knew what was being done every step of the way. Everyone was polite, professional and took care to protect areas not being worked on. Bill and/or Prosper was there every step of the way. As with any project on a house, there are unexpected expenses and add ons. As the saying goes, one thing leads to another. With LevitStyle all were within reason. I read the review posted on YELP from Bumbsy and I have some advice for him, he should have been more patience and talked with the representative from Levit style, he would have been very happy! I have used Levitstyle twice, both times in pinches, once to get a CC for a pool heater and once to upgrade my bathroom which we needed done on one weeks notice to accomodate my 84 year old Mom who was coming to live with us. Bill is awesome, he made us comfortable immediately! The workers are top notch! The service and accountability is second to none! They even helped us out with a roof issue for no extra charge. I had a dormer done by LevitStyle, Inc. The work was impeccable. All detail work was neat, clean, and exactly what we wanted. The supervisor, Prosper, was always available to answer our questions, come over to review our concerns, and fix any problems we had at the time. This is a professional company that only has the client's interest in mind. They cleanup daily and try to keep you as normal as possible when your home is renovating. I put off having my kitchen remodeled for years because of fears of bad contractors. However from the beginning Levitstyle impressed me with their stability, knowledge and design ideas.
