Then proceed to never answer when you call back, no matter how many times. If you need a oral surgeon, they will schedule you. But be prepared to wait the whole day. They tell you a couple hours, so you take a half day from work. People from 8 am are waiting when you walk in at your 10 am appointment and they don't get called back until 10:45. They do not respect your time. Get a referral for a different surgeon.

My mom has been having the same ongoing issue with the same crown coming off her crown popped off on July 6, 2023 she wasn't eating anything she was simply TALKING the rude desk staff called on July 10, 2023 for her to come in at 4pm I was hesitant on taking her back to this place because this is unacceptable he forced putting the same crown that clearly doesn't fit as a temporary the same day her face was swollen He didn't numb her when drilling her tooth. He also nicked her tongue with the drill it is now Sunday morning July 16, 2023 and her tongue is still in pain. We are never returning back and I honestly hope he doesn't see another patient again that explains all of the cancellations and open appointments he has. Oh and at my last cleaning he didn't even have the decency to come look at my teeth afterwards. Please please please go elsewhere to a dentist that cares about their patients. UPDATE: 7/20/2023 my mother received a rude voicemail from the unprofessional desk staff stating that it is normal for the dentist to not numb patients before drilling which is insane she is still in pain to this day she was not caring at all about the situation and stated that she will remove us from the schedule which is fine because I never enjoyed having someone in my mouth that is not groomed and looks like he just rolled out of bed. My suggestion would be that you put the time and effort that you spend getting new fancy equipment and at least look presentable at work. The hygienist was just as amazing and made sure I understood the plan of care as I was being treated by her. Her customer service was exceptional as well. Because he has thousands of customers, most of which have insurance that pays most of the bills that him and his staff draw up, and nobody ever questions him on what he is actually charging for as compared to what is actually getting done...let alone gathering itemized billing statements to stumble upon how much work is unnecessary and not needed nor most likely even known by the client to have taken place....now if you are one of the very few people to actually have made it this far reading this review, your welcome in advance....I know you are probably thinking to urself like "i'll remember to pray for this guy tonight when I got to bed, because it seems as if some of his cheese has done slid off of his cracker" maybe so just a little, and ill accept any and all prayers as well, but not so much so that I can't do simple math and determine that I have paid for the same things "hey lets get a panorama" as Doc says so himself, on multiple occasions and had operations done that I never knew about nor that even needed doing in the first place...I mean come on dentistry work ain't cheap, especially if u pay cash like I have to for all the work done to try to maintain decent oral health, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that ur wallet has become anorexic, and almost all of ur teeth are gone....do urself a favor and get an itemized statement about all the work he has done for u and just look it over with ur insurance, and actually compare what was billed to the insurance, the actual work that was performed, and finally how much of the work they paid for was actually needed for good oral hygiene versus what was just thrown in there taking place as all the small incomprehensible letters and codes that if anyone should ask is summed up as preventative maintenence, and must be done to maintain a pretty smile....I mean come on its actually quite genius of a plan, everyone wants a pretty smile and will pay as much needed to keep it, so that in addition to "oh Dr. Holcomb, he is so nice, and reasonably priced, and does such honest work" that like myself, we all believe he has our best interest and health at heart, equates to that exagerated bill getting paid, and any issue we thought we had gets swept under the rug by the good ole southern hospitality in which his practice surrounds u with from the start because u actually start feeling like family and family wouldn't ever do that kind of thing, right....Yeah, ok keep believing that...I mean what does a little statured dentist need with a big ole $100,000 dollar turbo diesel of a truck just to show up to a nicely acclimated office but with rather antique in design and style and definitely not utilizing any sort of dentist tools that appear to be of modern technology but rather quite scary and archaic to be exact? I had a sudden onset of severe jaw pain that lasted a week with no improvement. Two oral surgeons were recommended by a local dentist. The first one did not have an opening for about 10 weeks. The second surgeon was Dr. Carey who was able to see me within one day of contacting him. He, his staff, and the entire office experience inspired confidence. After his very thorough exam he showed me the x-ray, explained what the problem was, and the treatment he could provide. He did not press like a salesman, just waited for me to process the information and tell him how I would like him to proceed. The next day he performed the surgery which had some above average challenges. Every aspect of my encounter with Dr. Carey and his staff was first class. The follow up care over four and a half months was excellent and I am back to normal. Thank you Dr. Carey and staff.
