Despite oil changes being scheduled weeks in advance and showing up on time, I always waited at least 3 hours for my service to be completed. The final nail in the coffin, though, was when I showed up with tires they had installed that balded completely on the outer sides in the rear within a short time. They refused to take any accountability and told me this was "normal" if I drive on poorly maintained roads (I don't. I live in the downtown area of Moscow and work from home -- I drive maybe three times per week and less in the winter). I was told that day that Brady Bain, the service manager, was out and would call me. He never did, so I called and left him a message, but he never responded. I received an automated message from Brady asking me to rate my service, so I emailed him back to say I would still like to talk. I also gave him some options based on my availability; however, I never heard back. I'm still very disappointed with my experience at Rogers Subaru of Lewiston and would have appreciated any communication with their manager to address the situation. Today, I would never recommend going to them. I went out of my way for years to drive up to Lewiston from Moscow to get my car serviced here, and now I realize what a HUGE waste of money that was, terrible service, and it seems they probably messed up my alignment when I bought new tires from them previously, hence the balding. I received zero help or compensation for this issue despite my loyalty to them. DO NOT GO HERE.

I feel like the customer care has slowly went away and it's become more pushy and not as much of hometown feel like it used to be. On top of that, the finance experience was frustrating. There was a strong push for expensive extended warranties and additional products that many customers may not actually need or understand the long-term cost of. These add-ons can quickly increase the price of a vehicle, and customers should feel informed--not pressured--when making those decisions. After 4 purchases and years of giving this dealership my business, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, they have lost a long-time customer. I recommend anyone shopping here to carefully review every fee, warranty, and add-on before signing anything. Then I was told my last Tacomas problems were all my fault and they didn't want to take are of it! I had to end up going to another Toyota dealer and they went about and beyond to help me out! Shame on you Rogers Toyota management team for not doing the right thing . I can't in my human nature refer anyone to sales here. Found online that McClure Honda had Saturday Service Hours so headed to Lewiston in the morning to see if we could get some help. Only one tech on duty and they weren't sure they could fit us in, but they got under the hood and found the transmission fluid was low & brown. They didn't want us driving another 400 miles without a triple flush, so they took the car. Five hours later the work was done! Great communication throughout. And they even washed the bugs off our grill (well, they washed the whole car!) Drove back across the state at the end of the weekend and all is good. HUGE thanks to Service Advisor Josh and the entire McClure Service Crew who knew we'd be way worse off without timely repair and fit us in. They lost my business by trying to charge me $450 to replace radiator hoses that were in perfectly…read morefine condition. Right after they completed a CV boot replacement, my car started leaking coolant -- which it never has. I thought they might have bumped a hose during the CV boot repair and took it back in only for them to tell me that they couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from. They even tried to suggest that it was an oil leak -- I think the difference between oil and coolant is pretty damn obvious and I had brought in photos of the coolant leak which clearly showed a blue-green liquid. I took my car to an independent mechanic who thoroughly examined it and said that it just needed a new hose clamp and that all the hoses were in excellent condition and did not need replacing - cost was 1/4 of what McClure wanted to charge me. I now question any of the repairs McClure did and if they even replaced the CV boot. They've lost my trust and have lost my business forever.

I ordered a new spare tire from one of the local tire dealers and it was $130 or so dollars. I texted Rich and told him the spare had a cut in it and sent him a picture of the damaged spare. Didn't think anything further about it. Then Rich responds he would pay for the spare and reimburse me and he did!! When have you ever heard of a used car dealer reimbursing you for something you found wrong with the car after you drive off the lot. This is the kind of place I like to do business with. The current approach is an incredibly short sighted way to do business, I've left thinking, if I'm paying what I'm paying, why shouldn't i move to a luxury brand. I simply cannot see myself choosing to go back to such an experience. I paid thousands over sticker price (a symptom of horrid lease ending times). The dealership has no semblance of the feeling of a place I just paid THOUSANDS of dollars to be in. I can do basic math to know that I paid a premium over the invoice price, I understand getting the vehicle stock in took a lot of work, but I also had to pay addition acquisition fees. I'd much rather go the Tesla way of paying exactly what the website says and not having a complex process of talking with 3 different people, and wires getting crossed along the way. Coffee from a tin (aluminum really) pot and an atmosphere that just puts pressure on you to buy your car and get out of the space.
