I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Lex & Roses. I ordered a 50 stem bouquet days in advance for my mother's birthday and paid $270 for delivery to my parents home. The flowers NEVER arrived. What makes this even more frustrating is that my husband has ordered from Lex & Roses at least 8 times and has spent a significant amount of money with this company. While we've experienced late deliveries before, we've never had an order simply not show up with no explanation! When we called to find out what happened, the first person who answered didn't seem to know how to handle the situation. We were then connected with the delivery driver, who told us, "I've had a busy day." Finally, a woman stepped in and assured us that the bouquet would still be delivered that evening and that our $270 charge would be refunded. By that point, my mom was already out celebrating her birthday at a late dinner. To make matters worse, the flowers still NEVER arrived that night, and the refund was NEVER processed. The next morning, we had to call again. We were once again promised a refund and were told that the driver had "tried to deliver." That explanation simply isn't true. My parents live in a gated community, and security contacts me whenever a visitor arrives. No delivery attempt was ever made. I waited several days to give Lex & Roses the opportunity to make things right, but they never followed through. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. It's unfortunate because we were repeat customers who genuinely wanted to support this business. However, it seems that as the company grew, customer service and fulfillment have suffered. Although they ruined the surprise, the flowers ended up getting delivered anyway, and they are beautiful! The chocolates were great as well. The delivery guy was super friendly. I received texts about an order that was supposed to be a surprise for me and the agent Ashley told me they don't have the color that was ordered and for me to pick another color. This is so unprofessional because the surprise was ruined. They are idiots. I immediately contacted customer service and provided photos showing the condition of the flowers. While they agreed to send a replacement, the second shipment arrived in almost the exact same condition. At that point, I requested a refund because I had now received two separate orders of poor-quality roses. Despite providing photo evidence of both deliveries, the company refused to issue a refund and would only offer another replacement. When customers pay premium prices for roses, they should receive fresh flowers that are suitable for gifting or special events. I ordered a bouquet of 150 roses and they showed up with some smashed and some look like they had mold on them. They lasted 3 days and had to be thrown away because they were dead, and for what I paid for them I'd expect at least a week out of them. I have spent the last 24 hours trying to justify they were not delivered. There is a guard gate that has no record of them entering the community. I placed an order to be delivered locally in Miami. It was extrange that I received a UPS notification my flowers were being shipped. When I called and explained the situation, the CSR told me he could see the correct shipping address I entered in the order instructions and he changed it. I told him I was concerned changing it in the system was too late. "Willie" said he would get back at me, and when he did, told me package had been sent already and couldn't be changed. They told me that I called and changed my address too late. I didn't call to change the address. I called because it was supposed to be delivered to Miami address and they had it as my residence. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully arranged with great attention to detail. You can really tell that care and creativity went into putting it together. Avoid this flower shop -- extremely unprofessional and misleading. I ordered flowers a week in advance for pickup and even received a confirmation email. However, when I tried to confirm the exact pickup location, things became a hell. The store's address (2164 Northeast 123rd Street, North Miami, FL 33181) didn't match what I was told over the phone. After calling at least 3 times, I was repeatedly assured that the store was located in Brickell. When I drove all the way to Brickell, the shop was nowhere to be found. After wasting so much time in heavy Friday traffic, I called again -- only for the same person to tell me, "What's your f**ing problem, bro?"* Absolutely unbelievable customer service. I was able to purchase another flowers from a different store Anyone familiar with Miami-Dade knows North Miami and Brickell are about 30 minutes apart, and dealing with this confusion during rush hour was beyond frustrating. My husband spent $323 on a Valentine's Day arrangement from Lex & Roses, expecting a luxury bouquet and what arrived looked like flowers that were already a week past their prime. Several of the white roses were browning, bruised, and torn, with visible damage and wilted petals straight out of the wrapping. For a premium price point, I expected fresh, high-quality roses that would last more than a few hours, not flowers that already looked like they were on their way out. When you market yourself as a high-end florist and charge luxury pricing, the product should reflect that. Unfortunately, this felt like grocery-store quality at designer pricing. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and it's disappointing when someone spends that kind of money trying to do something thoughtful only to receive an arrangement that looks neglected and poorly handled. For over $300, there should be zero damaged or wilted roses upon arrival. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was too expensive to ignore. Staff was pleasant on arrival and throughout communication. Cons: Although communication was very prompt & pleasant, there were discrepancies with pricing. Pickup day, I never received info that the cake was ready. Once I got to the place to pickup order which was later than I put for pick up time, I was informed that cake was in route to be delivered, which resulted in me having to wait and changing of my dinner reservations to accommodate the time change. I waited, just to find out after delivery person dropped off cake that my cake was already inside the place from the beginning. The cake although was beautifully decorated, the texture and taste was not good and bow decor was left off. The Burn away calendar could have been flushed and flatten more for a more clean look. I have bought several times from this vendor and the roses always look beautiful but this last time they died much faster than before even after following the care instructions. Also, at time of delivery the driver asked if they could take a picture of my girlfriend with the roses and we only agreed if the driver sent us the picture. What really annoyed me is that it took many emails and many calls for us to finally get the picture. We were told just flat out no over and over again, when in reality, we were only required to show proof of ID to get it. The manager (Anto) thankfully finally resolved this for us.
