We came here with a group for a tour and treat. What a treat! The courtyard was set up with tables and chairs for the group. After a welcome treat (see photo) and introduction to the business, we were taken into the back of the shop to see how they make their chocolates. Then we had an hands-on experience - dipping pretzels, strawberries, etc in our choice of chocolates, and making a chocolate lollipop. They were cooled and beautifully boxed when we were ready to leave. Their chocolate (at least the dark) is really good quality and tasty. WORMS!!!!!! Le Chocolatier Miami sold my son a chocolate box filled with worms inside their chocolate! This is absolutely ridiculous! It it wasn't for my son putting the chocolate in the freezer we would've never know. How can this place sell chocolate filled with worms to unsuspecting children on a field trip. This means this place is infested with worms for them to be imbedded into the chocolate. This place needs to be shut down and thoroughly inspected! Went above and beyond to deliver chocolate covered strawberries to a hotel in the marathon zone. My sweet niece was running the marathon and I wanted to surprise her. I'm in nyc and she flew down for the race. I searched all over the net for what I didn't think would be difficult to find, but it was. The hotel where the delivery was going to didn't have great service and I couldn't trust it would reach her. I placed an order for my mom's birthday - we were staying in South Beach for a girls trip and I was trying to find something special for us to snack on when we arrived. Once inside, your senses will overtake you; from the smells of fresh milk, dark, white and other types of chocolate, and visuals that will take you to a fantastical place, will overwhelm you for all the right reasons. The shelves are very well stocked with gift baskets and selections for any occasion, and the display counters are always well put together with hundreds of different types of truffles, barks and other delights. The store has a bakery on hand and is fully transparent, literally; you can see into the entire operation of how these fine chocolates are made. Quite a sight if you get there in time. The owners are down to earth and a pleasant as you can imagine. They are helpful and will guide you right for gift or corporate sections a plenty. I have gone in a few times for my office and came away with treats beyond for my wife and myself that were so delicious, it just made us wanting more. Be ware, these chocolates are quite addicting. I ordered from Le Chocolatier Fine Handmade Chocolate shop online to send to my dear aunt for her birthday. I placed the order around midnight and followed up in the morning to make sure my order was received. I spoke to Joseph on the phone and he was a pleasure to work with. He reassured me in my moments of panic that the chocolates would arrive that day to my aunt's house. When my aunt received the chocolates she was in awe at how beautiful it was wrapped up. I really hate to do this to a small business in a pandemic but I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. My husband placed an order with them on February 3rd for a delivery to my job the Friday before Valentine's Day. They never arrived. When he called them to see what happened the owner at first made an excuse about the driver being stuck in traffic. I didn't leave work until 5:30 so at that point it wouldn't have even made a difference. The owner then put my husband on hold and confirmed that the delivery that was supposed to happen at 3pm and the driver just never showed up. We were offered for the inconvenience to receive a free arrangement that we could pick out in person (which I declined). If you're going to accept people's money to provide a service, you should at least be forthcoming when you can't deliver it. The onus should not be on the customer to make the company deliver on their end. read more

I've been tasting chocolates all over south Florida for the past few months and this place is the worst chocolate shop I've been to period. The chocolates tasted waxy & way off on the flavors. It's hard to fuck up on chocolate but they've somehow managed to do it. This is the first time I've tasted truffles that I regret buying. The box was in a heart shape, super adorable and the chocolates almost to pretty to eat...lol but once we tried them...OMG...they are horrible!!!! Their presentation is eye popping with big artistic baskets and beautifully arranged chocolates that you can actually see through the wrapping. Honestly, the best valentines day present I've been presented with. I was gifted a beautiful tray of chocolate covered fruits, including strawberries, orange (my favorite), kiwi, grapes, pineapple, mango...all of it was so perfectly fresh and delicious, and the chocolate was amazing. I've been spreading out the eating over the past few days so it lasts longer, and usually chocolate-covered fruit deteriorates pretty quickly, but everything tastes day 1 fresh. I'm also usually not a fan of white chocolate, but i loved this one. The quality of everything was outstanding. I'm generally super wary of chocolate gifts, as they often taste fake, overly sugary, or just..not very good. But this was on par with the chocolates my aunt brings from Switzerland! It was beautifully presented and the delivery man was really helpful, texting and calling to make sure I brought it inside. Phenomenal tasting chocolates made on site, simply amazing selection of products: solid chocolate high heels, handcuffs, badges, pianos, animals, and signs with custom messages. Plus chocolate covered pretzels, marshmallows, rice krispy treats, bark, and so much more. Staff are super, super friendly and helpful. However, this all comes at a cost: prices are steep (~$2 per little bon bon is tough to do on a regular basis, especially when a box holds 20+ of them!), and the upcharge for a valentines day heart-shaped box is $5-$10 over the standard box depending on size. Seems a little steep for cardboard that's going to be thrown out, but it's a free market right? The offer the product and we decide to pay for it or not. Where is the zero star button. I'm so so very disappointed with the chocolates here and hoping to save someone else from the grief I'm feeling. My boyfriend brought me here to pick out a box of birthday chocolates. I was so excited at the wide selection of truffles. I also liked that they made things in store. The woman helping us couldn't be nicer. This place also came recommended by a friend. But there were warning signs that I ignored. First take a look at the team making the chocolates and what they are using. The biscuits and other ingredients they are dipping look like things you would buy from the dollar store. Look at the chocolate in the drums they look stale without much of a creamy luster. Second look at all the prepackaged chocolates on display? Maybe they really do move inventory that fast but good chocolates don't last more than a couple of days so these ones are bound to have lots of preservatives. I chose a half pound box and so far have had a few truffles. One was so stale I spat it out. They all just taste sweet and don't have much of a difference. Every one I pop in my mouth makes me sad as it reminds me of the Russell Stovers you get at CVS at the after valentine's day Sale. I want to support the locals but this was just horrible. No joke and I'm not being dramatic but I don't think I can have another chocolate for a while. How can it be this bad and stay in business? I've since re-read the reviews on this site and absolutely agree with the negative ones. I recommend reading the very positive ones very carefully and clicking on the reviewer's profile. read more

The chocolate was very good, both their dairy and non-dairy items. They try to please the customers. It took a little bit of time for them to make certain things but I felt that the wait was appropriate for what I ordered. It is a little expensive but a really nice treat. The store was beautiful, you can see all the chocolate being made behind a glass wall, and the owners were just lovely. After tasting the champagne and milk truffles and being blown away, I decided to give them my order for client holiday gifts instead of the usual cookie baskets I have sent in the pAst.
