I own a Lexus GS350 and I am very picky about who works on it. I have had bad experiences previously at the Lexus dealership. I decided to look elsewhere for a Lexus-certified technician, and I found Robert's shop. He does all repairs and maintenance on my GS, and I have my car serviced there many times over the past 5 years. He recently resolved a sunroof water leak for me! Robert is an honest man, a quality not easy to find nowadays. He is willing to take the time to explain the repairs and what he did to resolve the issues. I was referred by a friend who has very high standards for work done to his mid-2000s Toyota Tacoma. He told me about rear diff fluid he had changed, and how it was slipping after the fluid change. Turns out, the issue was not the new fluid or the work done, but Toyota used a friction modifier fluid which was not documented in the manual or common knowledge. The owner took care of him and following the correct friction modifier fluid, the rear diff slip was completely gone. I very rarely come across a shop with all 5 star reviews. That seems impossible. I was going to check with my Toyota dealer on changing the transmission fluid on my Camry, but saw where every single dealer in middle Tennessee can't even break 3 stars. Terrible. And I would NOT trust just any old third party shop with this type of maintenance. Fortunately Lex Pro performed the work correctly and efficiently and I was able to drop my car off at 8:00AM and pick it up around 3:00PM. They typically have a queue of a day in advance, but it's easy to schedule a good time with them. That work was only $190, something that commonly costs well over $200. I just had them do some repairs on my car and it's running like it was new. I recommend Lexpro to everyone I know. I should preface this by saying that I do not own a Toyota or Lexus. When my AC went out in my Nissan Altima, I took it several places attempting to fix the problem. Most shops simply told me it need recharging, collected my ~$100 and called it a day. This did not fix the problem. I had the car diagnosed at my Nissan dealer, and was quoted ~$700 to replace a part which had a technical service bulletin. I had heard of Lex Pro from their radio ads, and thought I would give them a shot. They quoted me a price in the $400's, and were very accommodating around my schedule. When I picked the car up, the technician was willing to explain to me the problem, giving me a detailed rundown of his diagnosis, etc. I especially appreciated him talking to me as a client, rather than just hiding out in the shop. I live in Nashville, and although it's inconvenient to get my car down there, it's certainly worth the trip. Will definitely take my car back. read more

I inherited my Dad's 1992 Lexus LS 400 after he passed. It has great sentimental value to me. I was worried about having someone work on it. LexPro was recommended to me and I decided to give them a try when the AC stopped blowing cold air. These guys were amazing! The service was fantastic and I felt like these techs were working on their own cars by the way they treated me. They had me cruising with cold air in under an hour and a half and with a price that I could live with. Will definitely trust them for future repairs when needed. read more

Horrible experience with this company in both Murfreesboro and Franklin. In Dec we spent $6k on a motor replacement because they said I could get 300,000 miles with a new motor. 2 weeks after getting the car back, on Christmas Day the car with my wife and daughter in the car and me in another vehicle, had the rear end locked up at 70 miles an hour on the interstate. Luckily the roads were not crowded as it was Christmas. The could have been killed. After towing the car back to Lexpoor, I was told that the rear end locked up because there was no differential lube put back into rear differential. And this had nothing to do with the new motor, and it would cost another $3k to fix. They also gave me a rude call to have the car moved because they needed the space. Imagine spending $6k at a business and then treated like that. When I stopped by the Franklin shop to discuss it with the owner, I was introduced to an ass who claimed that the empty differential was because of the shade tree mechanic. (I originally took the car to Lexpoor when I was tired of dealing with a shade tree mechanic who was supposed to be replacing a rear main seal). Yet, I was invoiced by Lexpoor as part of the $6k, for a new rear main seal. They forgot to fill it back up and won't admit to it. 2 weeks of driving with no lube is about how long it would take to burn up the rear differential. Because of my doubts of their work, I had another guy who has worked on these cars for 17 years inspect the car. He reported back that they cut corners on the engine installation with missing bolts. A laundry list of things that were done wrong or poorly. Aside from their inept mechanical skills, there is no excuse for being rude to someone that has spent $6,000 dollars with them. I've repeatedly tried to discuss it with them, but they could care less. If I had the time and money I would sue them. In the meantime, I'll continue to warn others away from Lexpoor. And I'm also going to file a complaint with the BBB. If I could give less than 1 star I would. read more

These guys were great! They gave me an estimate over the phone, let me drop off my vehicle overnight, and had it fixed by 1:30 the next day. They even called me about other repairs my car could use and weren't pushy at all when I told them I only wanted what I brought it in for. The cost was the same as their estimate. Follow up from my January 2015 review. My Toyota Tundra now has 335,000 miles on it and The Lex Pros have been preforming all the oil changes and maintenance on it. Note, they will work on other makes, as they also service my Wife's Honda Civic and my Son's Hyundai. Even if you needs just a simple oil change, give them a call and get an appointment and you will be in and out faster than you would at one of the so, so fast oil chang shops. Before I purchased my 2005 Lexus LS430, I took it by Lexpro to be checked out. I bought the car with confidence and have been a loyal customer ever since. Their rates are so much better than going to a Lexus or Toyota dealership. When the master key to my car died, they advised me where to get a new one cheaper and programed the new one, that I bought, for free... Who does that? I feel that they only make the repairs that are necessary. They explain the repairs my car needs, give me options to help me save money and do a excellent job of repairing and maintaining my car. read more
