I brought my vehicle for oil change and they put wrong oil in it. The vehicle requires synthetic oil and they put a synthetic blend which is incorrect and not being caught until next oil change when I did oil sample analysis done, which I do once a year, period HSA using the wrong oil would have voided my manufacture's warranty if I had not caught this issue. So as a single woman on a low income budget, and just looking for someone to be honest and fair, I went to heaven sent automotive. I'm gonna be real. I went here because of the Heaven in the name hoping that that would mean that they were somehow more honest or wouldn't take advantage of you like some mechanics.. that's not true according to my findings they will charge you for everything that they can with no consideration for doing anything in a save you kind of way, it's all about nickel and diming you for everything that they can. I told them that I didn't need a diagnostic done and that I knew that there was something going on with my wheel alignment or the way my wheels were sounding and they're like no we have to do it anyway. It's like they charge you 100 bucks for a diagnostic that I didn't even need.. my brother and sister-in-law who owned a shop for years said that they could've just in two seconds put it on a rack and saw what was wrong but instead they charge you $100 for a diagnostic why because they can not because it's necessarily necessary, but because they can. So my point is if you're like a single woman looking for like somebody who cares and just wants to help you get by it ain't them. Don't let the name fool you like it did me. Came in for a wheel alignment but once they heard my explanation of the problem I was having, said that I really needed a wheel balance and that, while they could do it for me, recommended that I take it back to Costco (where I got the tires) and that they would do it for free! Then, on my way out, a kind mechanic named Justin stopped me and pointed out that I had a tire that was nearly flat! He had me drive up and filled it with air so I could be on my way safely. I also have to say that Heather, who booked my appointment, was a breath of fresh air to deal with after calling dealership after dealership who couldn't fit me in for two or three weeks and who utterly lacked the customer service that Heather so kindly offered! read more

Very responsive to quote requests unlike a competitor in Franklin. Quality is excellent and they provide good value.

The short version: honest, friendly staff, quick service, transparent communication from quote to pick-up. I needed my AC fixed in a 10 year old car as the weather heated up. Most places are quick to replace major parts that are labor intensive. I used the Yelp Request for Quote, and Heaven Sent staff were responsive and clarified how they would approach the issue rather than jumping to conclusions. Heaven Sent was willing evacuate, refill refrigerant, inject dye, and test before making major parts replacement recommendations. They apply the diagnostic fee to the process, plus a small materials charge for the refrigerant and parts, which is a fair price. Best of all, if after time the issue recurs, the diagnostic fee is waived for a second inspection since leaks can be slow. When they called in the morning to tell me in the the services needed, cost, and that my car would be ready mid-day, I mentioned I would pick up the car within a few minutes of closing time. When I arrived - about 1 minute before closing - the staff was patiently waiting for me so I could get my car because they remembered I said I would pick it up that evening. It's refreshing to know I can trust Heaven Sent in the future if I need more service. read more

Hell at Heaven Sent. Almost called the Franklin PD out for vehicle theft. (Actually, talked to them about it and got some great advice). I was a repeat customer who called them beforehand to bring in a sports coupe and dropped it off on a Wednesday having said the struts were likely bad, and it has a catalytic converter code and slight sputtering sound. Clearly communicated I was open to better performance parts. Took them three days to get back to me and say it's the struts and likely a bad catalytic converter. Oh really? Had to inquire about what strut they were going to replace it with; a cheap generic quickie strut. Specifically asked for a better brand recommended by everyone familiar with that car and got immediate resistance. Called Monday morning to say I'd be picking up the car having lost confidence in them. After 5 minutes standing in the office by myself, the front desk lady walked out not even acknowledging me. She comes back and tries to charge me crazy money for multiple diagnostics. They never communicated any such cost, I never signed anything, never received anything, and there was never a sign stating anything different. They refused to give me the key. She fetched the manager and it got really heated. I was told straight out lies that I had an appointment date and that some woman called on my behalf. He said they called everywarehouse for parts I can find personally all over the internet. I was told if I ate at a restaurant I'd have an obligation to pay. Heck, they have menus with prices~! The stupidest boneheaded thing to tell a repeat customer. This was flat out theft. Never talked to a mechanic. They never pressure tested the exhaust system. It takes less than 15 minutes to see if a strut is bad by anyone competent. I've dealt with many mechanics my entire life in both auto and aviation. These guys looked for the easy way out and wanted a payday for it. In the end, I was still robbed to get my vehicle back. If a place promotes Christ like this, they should be changing their name. It was disgusting, rude and a complete turn off to anything spiritual. They promote their business with their faith. It was obvious how sincere that is. Advice: if you can't talk to a mechanic directly, go somewhere else. After all their moaning about not finding parts, I found them, bought them, and found several places that know how to service better vehicles who are actually honest, upfront and will not give you some speech about their business cost. If you ever encounter such a situation yourselves, just call the police over to handle it. I'd suspect Jesus would be waving his finger at how these people handled it. read more

Update #3 regarding a 2nd family vehicle this shop has serviced many x , at some point there apparently was an axle issue that instead of telling us about a mechanic ZIPTIED! In addition- same car has been taken here to determine oil leaking - many x paid for repairs rec at no time told it was likely the oil tank gasket & there's more than that! Keeping a car on the road is crucial but it must be SAFE! Not telling clients about issues destroys trust! You really lost 4 customers plus here ! Update #2 took vehicle to 2 other shops found the alternator was fine & this place wanted to charge my son $700. - having trust is crucial in any transaction! If it's not a trust issue then clearly someone working on ppls vehicles is not trained to do so ! Update: vehicle taken back as key was still stuck in ignition, told now it's alternator to tune if $700. Bear in mind my son paid over $800 previous day for said repair & all sorts of diagnostics inc a $45 charge to tell him he has exhaust leak which anyone could tell ! It was over $500 in diagnostics alone & couldn't determine there was an issue w alternator or battery after having it for 5 days w over $500 in diagnostic charges??! Outrageous & sloppy! Bear in mind we are a family of 4 cars -that's 4 customers lost! Orig. review: Repeat customers here ! After using this shop which was 4-5 stars! I rec them to my family ! My sons car went in for work took 5 days get it back had same problem had to go without car for a couple days again for same work ! My other son just got the ignition cylinder replaced bc his key was sticky -got it back today & the key is stuck apparent faulty part or labor ! Things like faulty parts should not be happening this often - 3x now in past couple months in my family tells me we cannot be the only ones ! You know that feeling when you don't know what's wrong with your car but it smells like a bunch of plastic decided to light itself on fire behind the back wheels? I was not excited about the potential expense but Heaven Sent Automotive made every step of the way enjoyable. My wife called and scheduled an appointment and they were very kind over the phone. The next morning when we took it in, the lady behind the counter had a pleasant demeanor and assured us that they'd get to it and call us as soon as possible. They called back a couple hours later and the problem was that a plastic bag had been caught on the exhaust pipe. They cleaned it off and had it ready before lunch. When we went in to pick it up, the lady behind the counter remembered my last name and the car that we had dropped off. The people working there were all very friendly and made the normally stressful situation easier to deal with. The entrance of the place was a little confusing because when you open the door you have to walk down a hallway before you see anyone, but it's not a huge deal. I've used the same mechanic for years but recently moved to Franklin. My Subaru Legacy started leaking water so I took it to a place in Brentwood with tons of positive Yelp reviews. After paying them $150 for a diagnosis they came back with a quote for $2100 to fix the water pump and another $4000 worth of "work needed immediately". I knew the $2100 quote was WAY over what a reasonable cost should be. I went and picked up the car and brought it home. In the meantime my wife started calling around and got a quote for $1,400, $1,300 and Heaven Sent said it should be between $1,000-$1,100. We made an appointment for two days later. The repair was made in one day and came to $1100 and some change. They communicated very well through the whole process and it was a very good experience. Their prices are very reasonable and are posted in multiple places in the lobby. Today I took the car back for a brake job and had the same kind of experience as before. Good communication, good prices and great customer service. I recommended them to my son snd he has since used them to repair his vehicle.
