As for the drinks, I can only speak to their espresso and basic coffee, but in that area, they do not disappoint. While I don't think the roast is quite as good as Beacon, it is a very strong second in the area. Whenever I'm in Oxnard, I don't hesitate to stop by Dolce Vita for a great caffeinated drink.

The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Each lunch box also came with chips, Fuji water, and a chocolate chip cookie that quietly stole the show. Soft, delicious, and exactly the kind of reward you want after hauling yourself around an island pretending you're far more athletic than you really are. Skylar posted her pies for the week on Wednesday on her Instagram account, and I was able to purchase a pie slice box (3 different slices for $35) for pick up in Ventura on Sunday. This week's pies were strawberry cream, lemon with meringue, and coconut cream. They were all beautifully decorated and baked to perfection. The coconut cream was my favorite because it had a salty crust that paired well with the sweet coconut. But honestly, they were all so delicious! It completely defeats the purpose of wearing gloves in the first place and creates a major cross-contamination issue.
