I had a lower back injury in the beginning of November. I was recommended to go to physical therapy (which I wanted to do elsewhere), so initially, I only wanted to use their services for acupuncture. I was very specific that I wanted to make an acupuncture appointment. I went and before my acupuncture, I got nerve stim and a "massage" (more on this later), and acupuncture after. I found out later that they were going to bill my insurance for a service that I 1. Did not ask for and 2. I was going to be billed for. I did not know at the time of service that this was not included with my acupuncture appointment. I wish they had been more transparent about this, as I wanted to use my PT benefits elsewhere. I am limited to a certain number every calendar year. Their "massage" this session was also hardly anything. The lady just kind of rubbed my back which any lay person could've done for me. This lady also had her mask off while she was cleaning the table, which bothered me because she was breathing all over the table that she was cleaning... I do like their acupuncture services, so I've been back many times since then. I also expressed my concerns about billing PT, so they were able to work with me about this. I did later allow billing of PT so I could split time between here and my other PT practice. I used it for massage and nerve stim -- they never really offered me any exercises or stretching, so I'm not sure if this is a thing at their practice. I've been seeing Louie for my massages and I highly recommend him -- he is so nice and so great at giving me a satisfying massage, while focusing on my areas of concern. Drs. Lee and Kong are also great with the acupuncture. It's also nice to be able to text them for appointments, which is an added convenience. My advice to Yelpers: this is a great place with services and professionals that could potentially help you with your ailment, but it's important to make sure that you're being given services and billed accordingly, especially if you're splitting care at other facilities.

I said, "I was previously diagnosed with approximately 3 herniated discs." To which the chiropractor responded, "Unlikely." After meeting the mandatory minimum 3 sessions I paid for out-of-pocket, I was then referred to get an x-ray. The analysis the chiropractor shares with me after reviewing my x-ray supports the original diagnosis I received. However, instead of 3 herniated discs, it's now 4. The entire base of my thoracic spine is affected. I can confirm, I experience pain daily and my movements are limited. I am in my 20s. The chiropractor tells me to stop doing the exercises they showed me previously because I told them that I had been doing what they recommended and my condition has only gotten worse. They suggest talking to a different type of specialist (an orthopod) and to look into starting physical therapy. Time and money spent that I will never get back. I could have received adequate care earlier.

Front desk is a little to check you in and book appointments but they are helpful once they are able to assist you. The building is self is under construction at the elevator bank section as of April 2018 so may want to buffer and extra 5 minutes Incase the elevator doesn't stop and keeps going to the top floor and then opens on the way back down.
