I have been to three massage treatments with Netranie. I had been suffering for a month with Sciatic pain that was becoming intolerable. I asked Dr. Pescatore, my GP doctor, to recommend someone; an Orthopedist, a Chiropractor, a Masseuse...anyone who could relieve my unbearable pain. Dr Pescatore recommends the best, and he highly recommended Netranie. From the moment that I met Netranie I liked her. She was friendly, seemed down to earth, and had the most calming treatment room. It had a blue radiance with meditation music softly playing, that made me feel like I was in a place of healing. The moment that she started her treatments I could tell that she was an expert, and felt that I was with the right professional Masseuse who would relieve me of my relentless pain, and she has. My story is a long one, but if you want a quality review, you should take the time to read. Since I was 16 years old, many moons ago, I experienced swelling and pain in my legs and ankles only during the summer. All of my doctors gave me a clean bill of health, absolutely nothing was wrong with me. I was told that the swelling was just something I would have to deal with and live with for the rest of my life. As a girly teenager who loved skirts and dressing up, it was very discouraging when I had to wear pants all summer. Long story short; I wondered why it took so long to find Netranie. *Cutting out my long and complex history with doctors and specialists to find out what was wrong with me, only to be told again and again that there was nothing that could be done*. About 2 weeks ago, I prayed ( for those of you who believe) for an answer. The next day, I found Netranie's website. I said hey, what's the harm? I called, left her a voicemail and she got right back to me. Netranie is personable, caring and funny!!! I could tell she cares about her clients and loves what she does. She took the time out to listen to me and got right to work! She explained what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. After my first service, I noticed amazing results the next morning, in addition to following Netranie's instructions for other exercises to complete at home! For the first time since 2008, I could feel my left ankle. * keep in mind, everyone's results varies*. I recently went to a massage therapist for a lymphatic drainage massage of my abdomen. After leaving this guys office, about 2 days later the fluid and swelling got worse. I don't know if it was something he did or something he didn't do but needless to say I didn't go back. So I went on a hunt again for a therapist and came across Netranie. So far I've only been to her once which was a few days ago but when I left her office that day I felt so much better. I was soar after but so what? That means she really got to the core of the problem. Once her hands began the massage I immediately felt the hard fluid build up breaking down. Every woman can benefit from her healing touch. Her massages are healing on both physical and mental levels. I had other prenatal massages and they were not nearly as beneficial as hers. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER FOR A LYMPHATIC SYSTEM DRAINAGE. I chose Netranie because of the good reviews on Yelp. I wanted a lymphatic system drainage therapy for my daughter. I called her and she confirmed that this is one of her specialties. When i arrived to her office, i was struck by the disorganized appearance of the crowded smalL Waiting room. The receptionist had nothing to do with Netranie's practice. This is evidently one of the shared suites arrangement so we waited for Netranie. Out comes a harried, disheveled woman with a stained green smock on saying "I'm ready" without as much as introducing herself. She was on time, I will say that. She leads us into a dark small room with a massage table in the middle surrounded by shelves everywhere with little Buddhas and flickering little candles all over. Soft music is playing. It's hard to tell if the room is clean or if the sheet on the massage tables are clean or have been changed since the last patient. But I might have overlooked all of these details if Netranie's demeanor had been somewhat reassuring. But, no, there was none of that. She was the absolute opposite of what one might expect from a massage therapist. Nervous, tense with an aggressive tone and harried way about her. She explains that she uses a LED light inside a vibrating elongated tube to do the Lymphatic drainage. Against my best judgment, I agree to the the LED therapy although I was under the impression that lymphatic drainage requires a soft manual touch! She proceeds with the so-called drainage wearing gloves to protect herself -- from what I wonder -- and seems still hurried and rushed throughout. She jumps from one area to the next quickly and ends the session with some sort of haphazard dry-brushing on the legs. Needless to say, the lymph node that was a little swollen at the beginning of the therapy is now twice the size a day later! I will not be going back to her and cannot recommend her for a lymphatic system drainage. read more
