You would not think to find such an incredible massage spot this close to Times Square but here it is. For $55 an hour, I received a full body massage from Jessie and left feeling like a new person. Knowing exactly where my knots were upon touch, Jessie meticulously worked them out using oil, hot stones, and amazing technique throughout my lower and upper body. Full body massages are $55 an hour for first time visitors as well as an hour foot at $40. They have members pricing which I am not too sure how it works but at that price range and talent of masseuse will definitely be back. Steven saved my messed up neck and shoulders today, and also my beaten up legs. I'm traveling to NYC and like any enthusiastic traveler i'm walking 30k steps a day and sleeping terribly on pillows and beds i'm not used to. Better still, my grid foam roller can't come with me, so I needed those knots and tension beaten out of me. Steven worked hard for 1 hour (I requested pressure mode = hard) and as I got talking to him I found out he's been a masseuse for 30 years and was a chinese doctor before that! So I had a horrific experience at Tang Dynasty 47th street massage parlor I urge everyone to stay away from that place!!!!! I walked in asked for a female and the male massage guys says you don't want to try me I said no thank you I prefer a female. Then as I was getting my massage I felt like there was someone else watching me besides the massage girl and I was right !!!! They had the curtain wide open with my whole backside hanging out and a lady was standing over there watching with the curtain open! I never felt so violated and disrespected it was horrific . I will be filing a complaint with the city ! I knew something was up when she put the towel over my head and when I came up after about 20 minutes real fast something told me look . No privacy a violation and I also think she was recording it on her phone . Just stay away from this place!!!!! It wouldn't surprise me they were also selling that to porn sites or something absolutely unprofessional and disgusting ! The therapist I had was Jenny !!! Who they tried to tell me she was training I see reviews here from 4 months ago about her. So I know it's not true . My partner and I chose the combo package-back and feet, total 1 hour for $55. They offer an easy online reservation, with payment after service completed. Candy was my therapist and was AWESOME! Exactly the pressure I requested and worked out all my knots, leaving me relaxed and pain free. I have chronic knee pain and pounding the NY streets for a couple days really was starting to wear on me. The only negative, and this is me being really picky, is the rooms are not soundproof. I heard people on either side of me talking, people entering the front door, road noise, etc. I love being in that zen state removed from all stimuli. After a long day of exploring NY on foot we went for a 1/2 hour foot massage and it was so great we immediately booked a full massage for the day we were leaving just before our flight. I give Jenny a 5/5 for the massage itself. She even set a timer which I appreciate. The two older women definitely seem more experienced and I would not trust the young guy there (I think he's the son.) There are also a few things I'd like to complain about. Scheduling: I called the day of to use the Groupon and got an appointment for 5pm on a holiday. Arrived early and waited inside. When the guy came to get me I told him I'd like a female masseuse and he said ok before telling me to go into a room. When I say room, it's really a small space with 3 walls and one sheer looking curtain facing the hallway. I did not feel much privacy in the room as other customers are walking past me the whole time and there are small gaps at the end of the curtain. After I undressed, the owner complained that I did not tell them on the phone that I wanted a female. Although they never specify and it has always been the assumption at other places to have female masseuses. She asked if I can come back in an hour and I said if they don't have availability I will just cancel today. But then she said they can take me (feels like they jsut don't want to lose any business.) It was really noisy the whole time as customers were coming in and I could hear every single conversation. They were busy that afternoon and had to tell people to wait outside or to come back later. Their appointment system also sounded unorganized. The son would tell the customer to come back in 15 minutes but then I hear the mother yelling I still have 30 minutes left for this customer. Although the massage itself was relaxing I could not take my mind off hearing every single conversation. When I left I wanted to leave Jenny a tip. I didn't have cash and they don't take venmo or WeChat pay. They asked if I could use Apple Pay and I said yes. After I said yes they told me there's a $1 processing fee. I said fine and said I'll tip $9 so I can make the whole payment $10 because I like round numbers. The son looked at me and questioned me are you sure. I was confused and said why. The mother / owner chimed into the conversation and said people usually tip $10. And I was thinking really do you really need to beg for an extra dollar??? I also did Apple Pay so you don't have to pay for credit card processing fee and you're mad at me for tipping $9 instead of $10?? read more
