I recently came here for dessert with a friend, and it's a cute spot! They don't have much seating downstairs, so we went upstairs. The vibe was okay--I felt like tables weren't wiped down very often so most of them were dirty when we came. We ordered two milk puddings at their kiosk: a taro one and their mango pomelo one. They also had drinks and egg tarts to choose from as well! The milk puddings came in a very nice glass jar, and were a good portion size (but a bit pricey). The custard was sweet but on the lighter side of milk custards that I've had. Overall, not bad!

Excellent new Cantonese milk pudding spot inside of Claypot King on Prince Street, which has become the center for all new and exciting things in Flushing. They also have stylised Portuguese custard tarts that remind me of the ones at Naisnow. We tried the classic variety, as well as the ones topped with taro cream and mango pieces. The custard is rich but airy - Iris Cafe on the corner of Prince and Roosevelt used to have a similar offering before they closed. This was one of the better desserts I've had in Flushing in recent times.

New dessert place in flushing selling double skin milk pudding. Service quick and efficient, with many flavors to choose from. I had the mango/pomelo and original plain and both did not disappoint! With mangoes in season, you can't go wrong with the mango flavored ones! I also got to try their milk custard tarts and happy to report they are 'not too sweet'. Will definitely be back!

Worthy of a visit, if you've never had Shunde Milk Custard before. Silky and creamy and lightly sweet. The fresh fruit on top, adds a nice flavor combination to the milk custard. Shunde Milk Custard is a silky Cantonese dessert hailing from the Shunde District of Guangdong, China. Made from boiling and steaming high-fat milk, egg whites, and sugar. When cooled it forms two distinct, creamy layers of "milk skin". We tried the mango pomelo version which was yummy. The Shunde milk custard comes in a small thin glass cup with a very loose cover. Be careful if traveling with it. Hopefully they find something that fits tighter. They also sell a few drinks and some tarts. Service was great. There was a line of people but it moved pretty quickly. The ordering/ waiting area is super tiny. There is a narrow set of stairs on the right that leads up to some seating.

Lian Xing 連杏雙皮奶 is located in the corner of Claypot King, with an entrance on 37th Avenue near the northeastern corner of Prince Street. Ling Xing sells "double-skin milk" (雙皮奶). This Chinese milk-based dessert has a light pudding-like consistency and tastes like a light egg custard -- so the company markets it as a "milk custard." The shop is very small; essentially standing-room only for three or four people. There is some seating upstairs. We tried: - Mango & Pomelo Milk Custard 楊枝金撈雙皮奶, for $6.99; $7.61 with tax. The dessert was very tasty, though somewhat expensive. Lian Xing sells these desserts in fragile eight-ounce glass cups, perhaps to distinguish them from similar desserts sold elsewhere. (My thoughts run immediately to "sour milk"酸奶 desserts.) I'd rather see Lian Xing lower consumer prices by offering their desserts in paper packaging. - Peanut Chocolate Puff Tart 鳥巢酥皮塔 (in Chinese, Bird's Nest Tart): $5.99; $6.53 with tax. Tasty, the filling seemed more like chocolate than peanut chocolate; beautiful presentation, though the "bird eggs" hard-shell candies were uninteresting. Very expensive for a pastry tart.

The mango pomelo milk custard was really good--light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, which makes it easy to enjoy without feeling heavy. That said, at $6.99, it does feel a bit pricey for the portion. It's nice that it comes in a reusable glass cup. I also tried the milk pudding puff tart, which had a nice texture with a flaky buttery crust and creamy filling. One thing to note is the layout--entry is through Claypot King, and the space is pretty cramped and can feel a bit crowded. There is additional seating upstairs, which helps, but overall it's not the most comfortable place to hang out for long. Overall, good desserts and worth trying, just be prepared for the tight space and slightly higher prices.

Love the milk pudding here. I ordered the original, red bean and mango pomelo. The price is the same whether you pay with cash or card. They range from$6 -$7.50. The pudding is very smooth and lightly sweetened. The red beans were not as soft but went well with the pudding. The mango pomelo is my favorite and I noticed that they put some popping boba in it too. Service is fast and friendly.

I saw this dessert place on TikTok so I had to come check it out. It's a milk custard dessert chain from China. The place is tiny, definitely just a takeout place located inside the clay pot rice restaurant. It was faster to order on the iPad kiosk than at the cashier. I ordered the mango pomelo milk custard. The milk custard was creamy and tasted fresh. I wish there was more pomelo though. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely come back, I want to try the red bean next time.

Would recommend! It is also connected to the clay pot rice spot so it's a great spot to drop by after your dinner. The dessert is very cute but most importantly it's yummy. It's strong in milky aroma and the pudding texture is so soothing. It's very refreshing and it's not too sweet. I do like if you want toppings it's only 50c- $1.5 extra. There is also a second floor you can sit and enjoy the dessert. The ambiance is clean and quiet. The service and quick and friendly. Also great to come in to escape the heat

I've been waiting for this place since I saw the milk pudding sign. I tried the mango pomelo milk pudding. I wish I would have gotten the red bean or taro. The pudding is very smooth and not too sweet. When you carry it, be careful it doesn't tip over or it will leak. Wis it was a little cheaper but it was in a glass container.

Good place for milk pudding custard! Service is fast since they have them premade. There is some seating upstairs but can get crowded.

Waited for my order. They called the order when it's ready. I love the fresh fruit and it's convenient if you are in Main Street. Though, maybe because the mango wasn't ripe, it didn't have the usual strong flavor in the mango pomelo sago. I ordered Belgian Caramel Crumble Milk Tea for my friend. Didn't get a picture. My friend likes it and had no complaints. If you are in the neighborhood, go check it out and decide for yourself.

Not too sure if the place really understands the meaning of "less ice" vs "half ice" tbh…read more Can't do no ice = fine. How about less ice? Okay I guess. Received the drink. And....this is not less ice. Period. Ambiance: Your typical boba tea shop with a panda bear logo for the storefront and little space inside to wait for your order. Staff is friendly and helpful. A little bench inside by the glass as waiting area. Minimal wait time like 15 mins on a busy Saturday night. Tea By Do accepts both cash and card. The font can be bigger because it's so hard to read as the drink description is actually really tiny on the menu. Or they can provide paper versions. They can even simply provide a QR code to scan, so customers can zoom in on the menu from their phones. Iced Mango Pomelo Sago Drink 1. Tastes decent even without the extra sugar although not exceptionally amazing. 2. Tsk tsk tsk about the "less ice" portion. With the almighty chunk of ice, you're actually getting a medium sized drink instead of the large (thanks to the unnecessary ice amount). 3. Has mix of decent textures from the tart mango pieces + softness from the sago pearls + smoothness from the creamy coconut milk + juiciness from pomelo pulp. Once and done kind of try for me from Tea By Do.
