I ordered today The Bella Smoked Portobello and Cremini Mushroom, Smashed avocado, Crispy Onions and Chipotle Aioli on Brioche $13.00 What I got was a smash mess of small sliced button mushrooms and avocado on brioche with the aioli. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of the mess in the container to back up my complaint that I stand behind . A portobello mushroom is sliced to take the place of a burger and you know as well as I that is Not what you made me today. In future if you can not make this just say so. Last Sunday at the Sunday Farmers Market at the Pour House I was able to grab some Lib's Diner in between shopping and bouncing a baby, and being a lover of all things burgers and blue cheese, I of course had to get their Bacon Blue Burger: chuck patty topped with white American cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, mixed greens, grenadine-poached onions (!), and a blue cheese aioli (!!) on a brioche bun. On top of being a lover of burgers and blue cheese, I am also what you (and many doctors) would describe as "obese" and a "glutton" so when I saw Bacon Ranch & Beer Cheese fries on the menu there was no way I was about to waddle away without them. The ranch and beer cheese are made in house too! Their house (or truck), not my house. I dont have the stamina to stand that long to make something like that. Burger was "good" per my husband. The bacon ranch fries were excellent. Perfect ratio of toppings. The fries were crispy and substantial enough to withstand the salty beer cheese and sauces on top. Highly recommended, though I know i'll be drinking water the rest of the evening. read more

If there was a way to a a negative star I certainly would! Last Night I was in attendance at the James Island Spring Soccer Classic, my son was hungry and I went to buy him chicken tenders and fries for $13. The change should haven been $7,correct? The guy hands me $6 and tells me there was a #1 tax, WHAT? I used cash, by the way. In addition a gentleman was in front of me got a hot dog and fries for $10, I watched the guy pay with a $10 bill then move to the side to wait. So I approach and was informed there was a tax. I was appalled. Further, I asked the gut about it, he said the gentleman in from had in fact given him $11 which was a blatant lie, how do I know, because I went and asked the gentleman who was in front of me and he confirmed exactly what I say, he paid with a $10 bill and there was NO tax. The guy got so mad when I questioned him he asked for the change back and gave me my 20 back and had the audacity to tell me he has the right to refuse service to anyone. All of this took place in front of my 13yo son. I wholeheartedly feel this situation was racially motivated and I wonder how many other people have been subjected to this same kind of racism!!! They were also very helpful making suggestions and fine-tuning the menu. On the day of the event they arrived promptly (despite heavy beach traffic!), and efficiently handled individual orders from 60 guests. The food was absolutely delicious and the generous portions made sure no one was left hungry. My husband and I were both terribly disappointed by our recent experience. I ordered the bratwurst with a side of slaw and my husband ordered the Porky's Revenge sandwich with a side of fries. Firstly, the wait was LONG. Over 30 minutes for our food. Secondly, the portions were TINY for the price. The bratwurst could fit in my hand and I am not a big or tall woman. Plus, my side of coleslaw was maybe 1/4 cup, if that. My husband's sandwich was tasty but also small and honestly not impressive for the price or tule it took to make it. Had the fish sandwich and the Totchos (they subbed out to fries instead of tots). The flavor and value of both were great! Maybe the fish could have been slightly thicker or less fried, it was quite crispy and the bun was a bit undersized and a little hard to hold. The totchos toppings were so good! It's too bad I can't review their food. Lib's Diner was booked for an event on Saturday. When they got close, they determined that it wasn't worth their time and kept driving. If you're thinking of booking them for an event, keep in mind that they will no show without a courtesy call. I can understand turning down events based on projected turnout and sales, but this was extremely unprofessional for a business to do. read more

I had the BECA (bacon, egg, cheese, avocado) sandwich from the brunch menu. I could taste all of the flavors individually and together.....wow!!! The egg was cooked to perfection, not too runny and not too hard. The bacon was crispy, and the cheese combined with the avocado just melted into a blast of flavor. Overpriced and underwhelmed. Burger with Side of Onion Rings, we did get 2 so I guess they can say rings, but they were Ore Ida frozen, not the Melvins type. Burger would be lucky to be a quarter pound. Mac & Cheese bites (no jam as advertised) are dry slices of mac & cheese which they put chopped bacon on, again, not tasty and not worth $8 for 4 small pieces. Off my list.
