I don't remember the name of what I ordered but I can perfectly describe it because that's how tasty it was! Chicken with yellow curry on pita with kimchi and a delicious, twangy sauce on top! Highly recommend.

4got the name, but it was a funny name. There items are named with humor.

They came to our job and served food all day. So I am representing at least 80 people when I say this. Their food is very very good. I have to start with the vegetables. Mom would have loved that. Lol. But I've never had Curry flavored vegetables so good. The broccoli was perfectly cooked after 4 hours of service. Everyone who ordered was very pleased with the food. I am so sorry I forgot the names of the wraps I had. But they are no bad raps in this truck. You can not lose. I find it hard find food trucks when I'm looking for them. When I go to Yelp or their website it never tells me the location they are at at the time I am looking. I can't even find the scheduling. I really wish they would work on that. Sometimes instead of going out the restaurants I would just like to take my kids to food trucks and go sit in the car or on the park and just talk. I think that's the coolest parts of food trucks. Not being stationary. The service is pretty quick and the ladies are very nice. I will be back soon

Korean style spiral ham as a part of the Easter 2020 delivery special (Four items for $70, feeds six)
    Amy Lauren S.

COVID-19 Update: We ordered our Easter 2020 dinner from Roti Rolls due to the stay-at-home order. For $70, we had Korean style ham, sweet and spicy lima beans, hard attack red rice, and creole mac and cheese. We added a container of kimchi ($8), and my husband ordered via text and Venmo. Our food arrived around 3 PM, and the driver texted a few minutes before arriving. The meal was a flavorful, spicy, spin on traditional Easter cuisine. As a pescatarian, I ate the mac and cheese, beans, and kimchi. The macaroni and cheese was already one of my favorite items from the food truck, and my husband loved the ham and red rice. Portions were huge, and purchasing ingredients and cooking this meal would cost us more. The meal "feeds six", but I'd say it feeds more like 8-10 people. Both of us ate Easter dinner, with seconds, and had enough leftovers all week. Plus, everything reheated well. I hope Roti Rolls offers Easter dinner next year, because we hope to make this a new tradition.

Now I know why the lines are always longest at Roti Rolls. We attended the 1st annual Charleston Brunch Festival at Garco Mill in Park Circle (side bar: GREAT EVENT) I ordered the breakfast bowl and the combo of grits, pimento, eggs, and kimchi, and a bit of roasted kale.....so so delicious! Kimchi is the perfect addition to good bowl of pimento grits. And I will say, these grits were creamy, creamy perfection.

Blue, rice bowl. Chicken. Overall it was good. Guy in front of me ordered one and after seeing his i ordered. His did look better tho. Ha.

Love the Roti Rolls! Found them Friday night at one of my favorites breweries, and enjoyed them. There were 4 rolls on menu, so I had the Thurman Murman & Mother Clucker. Both were filled with their well seasoned meats and toppings. The Thurman was smoked pulled pork with Creole mac and kimchi. While the Mother Clucker had Cajun chicken, onions, pico, cotija, Verde, and hoisin. Want some spice? Well these had it, and I loved them. Both were wrapped in foil and served in a cardboard boat. As I ate each one they dripped with the yummy juices. Both were filling and delicious! Great food truck to go with beer! Service was good, friendly, and they were always happy to explain the items. I ordered one roll for my husband and asked to remove the kimchi and they did it eith ease. All was prepared in a timely manner too. Check them out, enjoy!

The rolls are ssssssoooooooooo full, they do not skimp on the fillings and I love them for it. I ordered the Thurman Merman and enjoyed every bit of it. Next time I'll definitely be ordering more than one roll.

I thought the Mother Clucker was da bomb up until now. The Porky's Revenge beat it out hands down. Delicious, not as messy, and the Pimp Cheese! What?! The roll/bread has just a bit of crispiness to it. O. M. G. One roti roll is $7, two for $12, but there is a check-in offer for $2 off right now. You don't know what you are missing until you try it. Look for the bright green food truck all around town. They always have super friendly staff, and service is usually pretty quick. The menu is on a chalkboard and always subject to change based on what they have available at the time. They tend to sell out fast at big events, but there are a few staples on which you can usually rely. The sides are also delish and could be a meal in and of themselves. Some items can be spicy, so ask if you are unsure. To me, the flavors are just right, and I think you'll find something you absolutely love.

An electric green food truck that can't be missed. I had been wanting to try this and now was my chance. I had complimentary lunches as part of my conference and Roti Rolls was an option, so here magnetically trotted off to. The food was reasonable, but far from fantastic. The average wait time seemed about 6 minutes ( yes I timed it!) This is my first time eating this and I had high expectations based upon what my friends have told me. I ordered the Mother Clucker, Cajun chicken with a lot more going on. The combination of salad, onions and cheese worked well. I do think the actual flavoring was good. A little kick to it but no acquired level of "hot tolerance" required. The chicken itself tasted succulent and fresh, no after taste. What I didn't like is the amount of fat in this. The roti ( or bread part) looked like it had been deep fried or at least fried in a lot of oil. The filling was also very oily and so the bottom of the roll was sodden in fat. The other issue, which seemed like quite a few other customers were talking about, was that the roll itself was very small. The fact that they serve $8 for 1 or $14 for 2 means they often have customers buying more than 1! It's served wrapped in foil in a paper boat smaller than the length of my hand. All in all, I don't think it's great value for money and it's far too greasy. I was able to eat less than half of my meal. I personally don't think I will be eating this again.

Will update when I know the name. It's Abe something.
    Harold N.

There were lots of options and Kimchi combinations. That's awesome. I got something that had the Roti Bread. That was delicious. Compare it to Indian style Poori Bread but flattened. Greasy deliciousness.

The BEST food truck in Charleston. Whenever there's other food trucks or options available vs Roti Rolls, Roti Rolls always wins. Recently a ton of food trucks have been transitioning from truck only to brick and mortar storefronts, and I can only hope Roti Rolls follows along with this. I'd love to be able to go to their location regularly and not have to track them down. Their menu is made up of a lot of unique combinations and they're are all SO flavorful and complimentary. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is always quick/friendly, and you won't regret your decision. And there's a Yelp check in offer!

    Wakey Bakey Roti Roll.
    Holly K.

This was my very first time trying a roti roll and I loved it!!!! EASY to see why this is Charleston's best food truck since 2010!! Ordered the "Wakey Bakey"-potatoes, candies bacon, sunny egg, Thai pimento, and verde on a flatbread. All the ingredients were local and FRESH, and packed with flavor. Looking forward to my next roti roll!!!

The sushi was fresh, and their food and drink menu included a wide…read morerange of standard to premium selections, including fatty tuna, A5 wagyu, and Junmai Daiginjo. I appreciated how they filled their spicy tuna rolls with chunky pieces of fish instead of the usual ground tuna used in other sushi restaurants. Their offerings and methods of preparation, paired with their higher price point, suggests they are a higher end establishment. However, the atmosphere was undoubtedly on the casual side, and their service, although friendly and knowledgeable, exuded a lack of experience and the same attention to detail that they put into their food. This was especially apparent after coming from eating at other restaurants in a similar price bracket, where you can sense the waitstaff had a lot of pride and passion for their craft, and it didn't feel like it was just a job for them. In contrast, our experience at Shiki felt far more transactional, and lacked that "customer obsession" and genuine warmth. That said, it's difficult to judge a restaurant's culture just from a single night, and maybe other customers had a different experience from us. Ultimately, if good sushi is your priority and you are willing to splurge a bit, Shiki meets and even exceeds that bar.

They exist, but some of the best are so unassuming you can walk right past them. Shiki is exactly that kind of place--a small, warm, inviting restaurant tucked into a strip mall that feels like a neighborhood secret. Loc, our waiter, greeted us as soon as we sat down with water, a friendly welcome, and a helpful walk-through of the menu. We started with wine and sake--always a promising beginning. The first course was seaweed salad with baby octopus, and I could have happily sipped that dressing like a cocktail. Light, bright, perfectly balanced, with tender octopus that added just the right bite. From there we decided to sample our way through the menu and ordered a lineup of rolls: Spicy Yellowtail, Spicy Shiromi, Rainbow, Spider, Lemon Salmon, and Eel. Each one seemed better than the last. The Spicy Shiromi was the clear standout--absolutely spectacular. What really sets Shiki apart is that every roll has its own distinct flavor instead of the one-note sameness you find at so many sushi spots. You can tell real care goes into the preparation. If you're searching for fresh, thoughtful, genuinely delicious sushi, don't overlook this little gem. Shiki is the real deal.
