It was bent and crooked and looked like your average joe screwed it in to my new paint with his eyes closed. Very sloppy. I was billed for 4hours labor while the tech was onsite for less than 50minutes...1/2days work for a quick slap and dash mount $350... I spoke to the manager who assured me the issue would be fixed though it never was. I had to ask 4 different times over the course of a week just to get a paid invoice. I tried to contact customer support and never got a reply. $350for a damaged mount in a place where it is already causing damage to my home, zero help after. I didn't want to post here but there's nobody else to talk to!

Called Home Technology to ask about it and replacement but no call back. Called again and was told they don't know what to suggest other than resetting it myself (done repeatedly). I hoped they would stand behind the $250 item still under warranty as it was just months old. Very disappointed. Guess I should have shopped at Best Buy.

I am not an electrician but I can manage some of the basics and have installed motion sensors, Ring floodlights, etc. I was not comfortable replacing the 3-way switches because there were too many wires and I can't see electricity. The last thing I want to do is cause a fire or electrocute myself. So, we researched electricians on Yelp that could help. My wife found three local companies through Yelp and reached out to them to inquire about cost and estimated time frame for completing the work. Damon was quick to respond to the inquiry through Yelp over the weekend and stated the project sounded like it would fall under their minimum service fee of $173.25. He provided us with the office number in the event that we wanted to go ahead and schedule. My wife called the office on Monday morning and they agreed on a time that afternoon where Damon could come by and look at the project since he was already in our area. Damon was on time and walked through the project with me. We agreed the work could be done the following afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon Damon came by and within 45 minutes or so had everything working properly. He was friendly and efficient. We didn't initially want to spend the money to hire an electrician but figured that in the grand scheme of things the money was well spent because we know it was done correctly, for less than $200.00. We really appreciate the quick response and are very happy that our exterior lights are now set up. The other two companies did respond to our initial response but were unable to conduct the work within our time frame. We will definitely call KD Electric if we have further needs and will refer them to friends in the area!

The work they did wiring our home remodel was not well done, as fixtures were misplaced unevenly on…read morethe ceiling and had to be relocated, and the unsupervised young electricians often did not seem to know what they were doing, redoing other things because they did not follow directions given in my presence, and charging us by the hour. Two three-way light switches were mis-wired and there were a number of similar very basic mistakes. They also refused to balance the six ceiling fans that they installed. Although they initially came and fixed their other mistakes as we discovered them, when we discovered additional latent problems, they did not call back and we had to follow-up ourselves repeatedly. At that point, I did not leave a bad review because it was merely an annoyance. When one of the 24 $100 (!) permanent LED can ceiling lights recently went out well within its warranty period, they, as its seller (after not calling back as promised) finally said they would not fix it and I needed to contact the light manufacturer and fix it myself rather than them repairing it as an installed permanent fixture under its product warranty. I finally had to ascertain for myself on a ladder (it was on a vaulted ceiling) that the problem actually was in their wiring rather than the light fixture, and when I called a second time to explain that it was their wiring at fault, she said curtly, "we cannot help you at that address." One may ask what is the point of paying well over $40,000 to hire a professional electrician to wire your home if they will not stand behind their work and repair what they mess up with courtesy? I just hope it does not cause a fire before I can find someone else in to fix it.
