About a month ago, Ryan fixed my iPhone screen. The price was lower than other stores I got quotes from and the service was done promptly. Fast forward to last Sunday, I notice a small crack appear out of nowhere without having been dropped. I was worried it wouldn't be warrantied cause who'a gonna believe that, but he took a look at it, said it didn't look like user-error, and decided to replace it despite probably having to eat the loss on the product. Had the Back Glass and Privacy Screen on my iPhone 14 Pro replaced. I was given the option to choose the color and I stayed with White. Wait time may vary given the small crew and whatever workload is present at the time but no complaints from me. Dropped it off, they called when it was ready, and I came back to pick it up. My phone case caused the Privacy Glass to bubble at the corners to which they adjusted it without hesitation. Good, honest people who did a great job with the replacements. No comment on parts costs as it's beyond my expertise but labor costs are incredibly reasonable and worth every penny. 5/5, have recommended. read more

This business was down in Reno at Meadowood Mall for 11 years. They moved to this location in 2022 so it's not a new business. Teresa helped me. She's super great. There's a 30 day warranty on repairs. Turns out she and her husband are the owners. I love dealing with owners!!! See picture of card explaining that they work on more than IPhones. They keep transaction in the computer so if I loose my receipt they can find my repair if I need warranty. So easy. I like this place! They did not reply to my Yelp message within an hour so I sent another message saying I need a reply. I received a reply, something about, due to Yelp rules I need to call for a quote. I'm not holding this against them because it was 4:30 on a Saturday and she explained my issue could take an hour so if I get there by 5 she could fix it today. I boogied right over. There's a $35 charge to open the phone and diagnose. My battery had overheated and expanded and popped my screen up. She tested the phone and made sure it was not overheating with a new battery and that it was charging correctly. Originally she quoted me the $35 and I thought the battery was added. But no. The whole thing is $77. The $35 is only charged if they open it to diagnose and you decide not to repair. This is my old phone I just play games on it. But I'm glad to have a new battery and now I will probably sign up for a cheap service to keep this as a backup phone. I'm very happy. If there is a problem I'll update. But I doubt there will be a problem. But 30 day warranty is a PLUS! read more

I had broke a phone screen, this place offered a reasonable price and they don't try and charge you more. Many places were trying to charge me $90 because they said my phone was a 2022 but this place said it doesn't matter if it's 2020 or 2023 so $70. She was quick and she has patience for her customers, when I went in there, she was helping this one customer that was having a difficult time and she never rushed her or was rude thats was nice to see. This is my go to if I break my phone screen because they do have good prices. The the new screen works just fine. There is a 30 day warranty if it malfunctions, keep that in mind. read more

I needed a new battery for my antique iPhone 7. Called these folks and was able to go right in. Very friendly, personable and explained the process of replacing the battery in understandable language. Having read all the yelp reviews before going in, I had a little trepidation and some mild anxiety about trusting these people with my sacred cell phone. My experience was very positive and I appreciate Teresa taking the time to answer all my questions and for doing a wonderful job with my phone. I also appreciate the no-nonsense warranty. I did shop around before calling this business. Batteries Plus and Best Buy were more expensive, like $40 more for a lower quality battery, and Best Buy wanted an appointment, and Batteries Plus was like dealing with a used car salesman. My teenager's iPhone X had a cracked screen. I took it to Reno iPhone & iPod repair to be repaired. Within 10 minutes, they called to let me know it was done. When we picked it up, I noticed that the apps were burning into the screen when I swiped to a new screen. The employee said they could try replacing it again. But again, it had the same problem. She gave me 2 options, 10% off or putting the original screen back on. We needed the phone fixed properly, so I asked to have the broken screen put back on. Except when they did, they broke the touchscreen. I took it to Apple and they said the technicians at Reno IPhone repair sliced through a wire and that's why it wouldn't work. To sum it up, they took my phone that had a crack in the screen but otherwise worked perfectly and made it completely useless. 0/10 don't recommend. read more

I stopped in because my elderly iPad was having difficulty holding a charge. The gentleman who waited on me explained to me what the procedure would be to replace the battery. It sounded a bit like heart bypass surgery and was potentially just as lethal for the iPad. They were designed to be traded in when the batteries die. The batteries CAN be replaced, but it involves cutting off the screen, pulling out the old battery, putting in a new one, and gluing the screen back on. All of this for $100+ and it might destroy the iPad. What I really liked about the whole transaction is that I was given the pros and cons of getting it done and what would be involved. They did offer to buy the iPad if I decided to get a new one. I felt no pressure to have the repair done. In fact, I felt he was gently guiding me to make the decision that replacing the battery was probably not a good idea. So - in the end, I did not use their services and headed to the Apple Store and bought a shiny new tablet with a generous trade-in on my old one. However, If my PHONE should need repair, I know exactly where I will go first. read more

I bought an LG V60 ThinQ 5G Dual Screen phone at Costco, within 24 hours of owning, the outside cover which is made of glass had spider crack web lines which then got really bad. I thought I could return at Costco within in the 14 days, they would not accept. I then ran though contacting LG, they would do anything, wouldn't own it, nothing, except repair for a cost, I wrote and complained about them to the FTC as they could have just made this hard rubber plastic like the rest of the case and or used Gorilla Glass. Also, I mentioned to them TONS of REVIEWS online complaining about this and worse problems than mine, they didn't budge. So now the FTC can look into a huge design flaw! This is my only issue with the phone, other than this I LOVE THE PHONE, it's EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED and NEEDED in a PHONE! My next step is I then contacted Square Trade, which I bought a contract with my Costco phone, when I went online, I actually had about 12 contracts with them from Amazon shopping and Walmart, I was shocked, after texting to a rep (I hate this) they would NOT warranty, saying it was an accessory, I asked for an exception NOPE, after I pointed out all my contracts, etc. They only warranty the phone. So then I looked at buying another dual screen cover it's $200, Costco kiosk doesn't offer or sell, online is no luck, so I paid just $600 for the phone with tax but no counting square trade, $200 seems STEEP, and I thought I'm almost be better off buying buying a new phone, even the charging accessory you need once it's in the dual screen case is $50 on Amazon. So that was a consideration. Well, my brain really wanted a solution of course I prayed to Source, and the answer came quickly thereafter, I was on Amazon and saw a replacement glass screen cover, I couldn't believe my eyes, the page even pointed out it was the cover only, I was shocked that it existed, because I even went to Houston We Have a Problem, who didn't have a solution! I ordered then, and received today, 1st thing is I called Houston, they said call back Monday, to speak to someone more techie vs whoever answered the phone, I called Reno Computer Fix, thinking they are tech geniuses, they declined but they recommended this business, Reno Iphone and Ipod Repair, which is located at a Kiosk in the Mall in front of Dicks. I worked with Terressa, who gave me confidence, when she said she's been doing this kind of service for over 9 years. She's never fixed one, but quoted me $45 to fix, and laid out her plan, I came back after 15 minutes, she was still working, another 15 I saw her putting cover on, so I ducked into Vans, about 10 minutes later I came out, it looked BRAND NEW, Terressa is AN ARTIST and SCIENTIST! =) I paid and happily tipped, and I will always recommend them to ANYONE who needs this kind of service to make it like it NEVER HAPPENED! =) Thanks Terressa! read more

Yes - this business said multiple times I was never a customer of theirs - I have it on record, then they changed their minds. 2. They said they had no record of my daughter (but now say they "pulled our files" funny how those files turned up. And now I have to wonder how completely fabricated the files are. 3. The contract I posted in the picture - the handwriting in the center - is Beau's writing. Not mine. Not my daughter's. I blurred out her signature. 4. After we assessed the situation my daughter called and told them do not order the part - she wanted nothing more to do with them since there was zero trust and she was worried they would further break her phone. 5. My daughter nor I NEVER EVER DEMANDED A NEW PHONE - THAT'S A BLATANT LIE FROM RYAN C. I'd take a polygraph and stand before a judge swearing what a fabricated tale of lies this guy is putting out now. 6. Wondering how Ryan C. would know I was angry since I never personally dealt with him. I am angry now - there is no crime in that. 7. Wondering how they "blocked me". From where? I blocked Ryan on Yelp messaging because he wouldn't stop saying we weren't a customer and to "stop contacting him" - when I wasn't initiating contact at all - he kept coming after me once the review was posted - I responded to his weird Yelp messages and lies to my review and updates - I've had no direct, in person, phone, texting or email interaction with Ryan C. Only Beau. I have also blocked this business on Facebook. On google he has pleaded for me to remove my review. I have screen shots of all - even the Yelp messaging. 8. I have stated I want nothing else to do with this business due to the cracked phone, a worker propositioning my daughter and feeling overall misguided and fearful that this place is not qualified to work on iPhones and that they are now unethical in their business practices. Everything in detail including the contract, Ryan's lies, his response to the BBB, his update changes online, etc. has been turned over to the BBB and is all thoroughly documented for our protection. read more

I went to get my screen fixed. Thought it was an amazing fix for super cheap and was very happy. Within a month the screen had shattered from a drop about a foot off the floor, and the screen was literally hanging off the phone. I took it to Apple to see if they could actually fix it. However after inspecting the phone the tech said that it was so badly messed up from the screen repair that there was no saving it and I'd have to buy an entire new phone. I'm sure this place is good at fixing other things, but absolutely do not go to fix your screen. read more

I was happy to discover this place. It's in a good central location vs. driving out to some guys house you find on Craiglist to get the glass on your iPhone fixed. One thing I do like is the fact that they can also change the color of your glass if you'd like (or switch your Black iphone to white or vise versa). I bought an iPhone from one of my coworkers that had a destroyed screen, brought it to these guys and it looked like new the next day. They do have same day service but I just left it there overnight. I gave the phone to one of my kids who was overjoyed since it looked like new. Yes, you can do it yourself for (much) cheaper but you've got to source the parts, get a pentalobe screw driver and then take the risk of not screwing it up. Helps justify the cost a bit more when you realize that. I'd recommend (and have been) taking your (out of warranty) iPhones here if you need repair done. read more

Finally, I remembered the ads for this company, and I'm so glad I did. They fixed my battery in five hours, and it only cost $65. More than that, they were courteous and thorough. read more

These guys clearly don't know what they are doing, took like 4 hours and device was returned more broken. I do not recommend this was my mistake to get my tech fixed through a third party service. Also to top it of they charged a 26 dollar "labor fee" talk about a ripoff. Update: I'm not deleting this review. I was pissed that my iPad mini was improperly fixed the first time around, and still am. We ended up having to totally delete the data off of the device and then about two days later Siri started turning on and off randomly and music starts playing without me turning it on. Also stop lying to me me Ryan you charged a 26 dollar labor fee. It's under Denise Herman my moms name. I'll give you two stars because you responded and I got a great laugh off of it. Edit 2: it costed 126 dollars. Also Ryan you or whoever "fixed" my iPad broke it beyond repair NOT ME. Then we decided to let you delete all data and reboot the device. The power button at least worked but now there are entirely different problems with my Ipad which is extremely important to me because I received it as a gift for Christmas when I was like 9. I lost hundreds of pictures and tons of game data. You should really reconsider your business choices if a 12 year old makes a Yelp account just to criticize you. I just got my iPhone screen repaired here yesterday. It's the second time I've used this shop services. If I recall correctly, the first tine I went here (a year or two ago) they only had one option for a replacement screen and the screen worked perfectly and didn't give me any problems for the rest of the phones life. The most recent time I went in (yesterday) they had two options for replacement screens. A 90 dollars option and a 170 dollar options. I chose the 90 dollar one and am not particularly impressed with the quality of the screen. But it performs exactly as was described and that's why it's cheaper. The install time was spot on, and the quality of the work seems to be 5 star as well.If you want much closer to, or matching of a stock quality screen I'd say go with the more expensive option. read more

Took my phone in for a water damage repair. $45 dollars just to look at it. No guarantees/ no refunds. They really do a piss poor job of reassuring that they can fix phones. Claim they can fix 5/10 water damaged phones. Guess what side I fell into? I reluctantly let them look at my phone. Absolutely zero confidence in their work, formerly took in a phone for a screen repair and got it back with a loose home button. Anyways, I got it to power on just by plugging it in initially, but when I gave it to them they said it was a brick. Call me bitter for spending $45 and not getting any results...I honestly don't think their labor is worth the money. Would not take a water damaged phone to them again, Too much of a gamble. Not sure if I would trust any of their services, next time will just buy AppleCare. On top of all of all that they didn't finish closing up my phone before giving it back to me.
