Every experience I've ever had here has been a great one. The people that work here are very helpful. I would recommend placing your order early in the day online to pick up if you are in a rush. sometimes I have gone to place an order after four or five and there are no time slots available, but it is nice They stay open until 9 you can will walk In. if the line is really long/they are really busy They will cut the line around 830 in my experience, but that has only happened to me one time. They also have a rewards program where you can rack up points and or they give you coupons depending on how much money you spend monthly also a great location if coming from Virginia. Liberty Dispensary: A Complete Disgrace to Medical Patients - Avoid at All Costs I have never in my life been treated so unprofessionally at a dispensary, and today was the last straw. As a medical card holder, I expect to be treated with the respect that comes with being a legitimate patient, not dismissed and disregarded just because the business has now expanded to recreational sales. Ever since Liberty Dispensary went recreational, they have completely abandoned medical patients--the very people who kept their business afloat before legalization. They do not separate medical and recreational customers, which creates constant tension with non-medical users who don't understand why medical cardholders go first. The lack of organization means I'm forced to deal with hostility from recreational customers, and to make matters worse, there is no security present to manage these situations. Today, I was put in the medical line, only to watch a staff member blatantly ignore me and take recreational customers instead. This was not a mistake--this was deliberate disregard for medical patients. If they refuse to follow the law and prioritize medical orders, then they should not be operating. I had to leave without my order because of their incompetence, and I refuse to ever step foot in this place again. I had to drive 45 minutes to the Rockville location just to get the service I should have received at Liberty. This place is completely ghetto, unprofessional, and mismanaged. Whoever is running it now has no business overseeing a dispensary. I will be reporting this location to the MCA again, and if they continue to neglect medical patients, they will eventually be fined. Only leaving this review because Jay/Jason was the first decent employee at this location to provide decent customer service and act like he actually cared. He gets 4.5 stars, this establishment as a whole: 3 stars. I prefer Cali and DC dispensaries because spots like this are just too stale. No smelling, no visual buds, nothing. Additionally, there are no freebies, their loyalty program is inconsistent at best (app-based and annoying - even employees acknowledge that it rarely works), and again, the employees need work. Last time I stopped in, a white girl with glasses and dark hair who was working was rude AF. Every question I asked was met with a shrug or an "I'm not really sure" or "it really depends on what you're looking for." However, when I asked for a pen battery, she rudely and directly responded with, "no batteries." Ummm, okay. She then proceeded to allow a white man to cut in front of me at the register - while I was mid-transaction - to finish his transaction. This broad asked me to step aside and everything as if she doesn't work in the heart of PG COUNTY. It was giving Jim Crow. But anyway, they have a decent selection for an MD dispensary. It's def better than Jova in Camp Springs but it's still very mid. My recommendations: sign up for their lil app so you can see when they have deals and promos such as 3.5s that are two for $40. Security here is a joke. A woman cut the line with about 20 people in it. The man she cut in front of ( he's older and disabled) tells her the line is way back there. Her boyfriend takes up for her and tries to fight the man she cut in front of... Security did nothing but watch and let the 2 people cut the line. I've never had a problem with the Dispensary. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Depending on the time and day you come, sometimes theres a line and a bit of a wait. This can be avoided however, by going on off times like when everyone else is at work or after lunch hours. read more

Location - excellent especially for VA people. Customer Service - often understaffed so when people go in and spend 30 minutes asking about all they offer, it can be irritating. In the other hand, reps are pretty knowledgeable and will try everything to make sure you leave happy. Product Offerings - mediocre to okay and this is the reason for only 3 stars. (I considered 4.). My issue is the inconsistencies in brand offerings and strains. It's heavy on Indica so if you're a sativa fan like me, it's hit or miss mostly. And please DO NOT LIKE something too much because chances are you will NEVER see it again. It's as if they are changing vendors not for quality but for their bottom line because otherwise they'd keep the items people compliment (or so one would think). If you aren't brand loyal then you'll be fine coming here. I may just be too picky but I know what I like and more times than not I can't ever go and get the same item twice. Website - not compatible with iPhone. It used to be then someone did something and the "we use cookies" message is formatted incorrectly so you can't access the menu. This just started a few weeks ago. Ugh! FIX IT! Lines of people- yup. All other comments and complaints about med versus rec and how long the lines are are true and accurately reflect many visits. But that also goes back to being insufficiently staffed too. And seriously people - try knowing what you want BEFORE getting to the counter. My very first time ordering from here went well. I've tried to order three separate times since then, and none of my orders were fulfilled. Not one. Two out of the three never even stated that they were being prepared, and both of them were placed before 12 in the afternoon. My most recent attempt the order was placed at 10:15 AM. It is now 7:36 PM, and it says that it's "being prepared". All were promised to be fulfilled within three hours. This is our family dispensary - we have several medical issues and always come here. Both my husband and I have had the pleasure to work with Ron. He is always upbeat and goes above and beyond. I came up a little short on an order because I didn't realize I added something at the last minute (17 cents TBH) and he covered it for me. I felt awful because I couldn't tip but I saw him next time and made sure to leave a well-deserved tip. My husband made an order for some edibles for sleep - they didn't have the kind he ordered in stock and Ron was super helpful in finding a great replacement. Five starts for Ron. My only complaint is I have a handicap placard because I have metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my bones. Walking is very difficult. And I would say 80% of the time the two handicap spots are taken by people without placards. I have complained to the check-in counter and they usually say they will check it out but last time I told security and he kind of rudely told me it was a county problem "not his". Not sure how a private parking lot is a county problem but it's very annoying to see folks using those spots that don't have a legal reason. Overall though - they have figured out how to get folks through as quickly as possible and honestly if you know what you want, order it ahead of time. It is so much quicker. So, in conclusion - More Rons and more handicap spots. And don't be a douche and take the spots unless you have a placard. read more

Pricing is good. Lots of options. However, keep an eye on your product when it is placed in a bag. If you're not paying attention, they will keep something out of your bag. I should've known when I was asked, "would you like the receipt?", that something was going to happen. Not normally an indicator, but in this situation, I had one package stolen from me. Disappointing and discriminatory daytime management. I was subject to a faulty POS system where my online order was not correct. I tried to explain and provide the order number but the manger wouldn't hear me as a customer. I had my order confirmation number but she wanted me to wait in the rec line after already waiting 40 mins in the online pick line for my pick up. However on December 6th 2024 at approximately 8:20pm at the Liberty Oxon Hill Location was the worst experience of my life, and as long as you all are a running business I never wish this experience on anyone. When I arrived to the Liberty Oxon Hill Location, I stood in line and waited to be checked in. Once I was checked in I had to stand in line again. It was pretty busy which is fairly normal for a Friday but definitely exemplified due to rewards being released on the prior day December 5th. Completely understood. Now for the life of me I can't understand why I had to be spoken so rudely and disrespectful from a manager. Shortly before that the cashier was also rude and unprofessional. When I reached the register the I showed my ID, cashiers checks my order and goes to the back to retrieve it . When she came back she informed me that my order was "sold out" , it was then I asked to speak to a manager and her response to me was "It's not going to appear". Obviously the cannabis won't appear even if I asked to speak with the Founder of Liberty Cannabis Dispensary. I'm well aware of that. I asked to speak to a manager that's it that's all. That level of sarcasm and rudeness wasn't necessary. Now I will say she did offer me another product, however, it was larger in quantity and price which was out of my price range hence why I ordered what I ordered initially.After rudely pointing out the obvious she proceeded to inform the manager of the situation. The manager looked up at me and said " I'm dealing with too much right now, I don't have time for all that". I stood there baffled, dumbfounded and embarrassed to say the least. As I stated before I understand the place was packed, it's the end of the day and people are tired. I GET IT. However I feel like she could have said "sir give me a couple minutes " or "I'll be with you shortly " or "we're extremely busy at the moment, I apologize for any inconvenience however I currently cannot fully address your situation". I would have understood honestly. But her time, tone and delivery when speaking to me was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I visit the location pretty often the staff is normally very nice and helpful even the security, but today made me want to stay away for a while. I know I've wrote a book but I'll end by saying this. Recently, I decided to give them one more shot and lo and behold when I had purchased a 3.5 I opened up the container and there was nothing when I had called them to tell them the ordeal. Do not give any money or support to this POS "business". It is extremely unprofessionally run. Despite the website clearly saying they accept walk-ins until 8:30, this is a lie. They post false information on their website. I arrived well before 8:30 and they said they were closed. I had driven an hour to get there. The worst thing about it was the smug and dismissive attitude of the person working the door. When I pointed out that their website specifically says they are open for walk ins until 8:30 and it was not 8:30, his response was "I don't know anything about the website". Sorry, but how do you have a job there and not know your own operating hours?!? Seriously, this place doesn't deserve to be in business. Save yourself the frustration and make the trek up to takoma wellness. Okay a long one.. Well... this place used to be good and more organized , I see they've tried to keep it the same but the way they operate day to day is horrible. Two lines for online orders/ medical line and walk in line. Now the walk in line can be very long so most people preorder, which that line will be long too. Now when a medical costumer comes in they get to skip the ENTIRE pickup line to get their order. At times there have been 3-4 medical costumers coming in at the same time. They get to cut everyone already in the pickup line. Now I don't understand the special treatment at all, if they feel the need to be so incredibly rude to throw multiple people in front of a line of already 10+ people then make a specific line for the medical. I rarely get upset over things and especially reviews but this place I am tired of. The way the security guards act when bringing people to cut the line, and the way that they act when someone who is medical comes in. They get extreme special treatment and again I don't get the rudeness, entitlement and the lack of respect. Everyone is very kind here besides the security guards who think they are club bouncers, with their blacked out glasses and smug looks on their faces. I don't know what happened but to much business equals to them becoming overwhelmed throwing two lines out and then not being consistent when it comes to the medical/online order. I don't know if there is a policy to let medical get this treatment, or if they are just made it up, if so blame on poor planning because this is ridiculous. The walk in line most times goes faster now because the amount of medical people who get thrown into the online order line is ridiculous. Thank you for making me wait over 30 minutes for a package I had ordered 2-3 hours previously just to continue to be pushed back because you think it's a productive plan to make a online pickup line merged with medical... (mind you the medical people aren't preordering, they are coming into purchase what they wanted, so it takes even longer for them) again just a ridiculous concept to any line up. MAKE AN ADDITIONAL LINE FOR MEDICAL, or make a more efficient way to get them taken care of instead of being ridiculously rude and making people wait longer and longer all because someone came in with a medical card. read more

Arrived once, well before 9pm and was told they are closing early, no emails no correspondence although the security guard said there was emails sent. At first I thought ordering 30 mins before was ok but now I order an hour ahead and STILL have to wait in long lines down a hallway that has no lights & NO AC. They prioritize walk ins and people who hold medical cards which defeats the entire purpose of ordering online beforehand. The security who work the front are almost always rude & they don't seem to care based off other reviews and in person experiences. They ask for ID. Okay I guess, but for what if it's legal in DC? The customer service time is slow. They have an "online pick up" section and you would think that would help with the line, but it doesn't. There is no smooth transaction. If you're in line, expect to be in line for a minimum of 15 minutes as people figure out what they want (even if u want what it is you want).
