my biggest complaint with the fence installation was that they cut through my sprinkler system electrical wires and they didnt even bother to tell me. it was a few weeks before i realized their mistake. they left the cut wires out on the ground and i didn't see it. it cost me $140 to repair and so i sent liberty fence the invoice. one would think a reputable company would reimburse me, dont they have insurance for these things? but no, they refused to even apologize or acknowledge their mistake. very disappointing. read more

Horrible experience and still waiting for a response. I recently had a fence and mailbox installed. The fence was a two step process which was not explained not so much an issue. The issue was my mailbox. They didn't install correctly and because of that, the mailbox door was bent on the 1st day of install when the mail was delivered (not their fault). They came to move the box forward but door is still bent and damaged. I asked for them to give a new box because of their mistake and I am still waiting for a response! read more

I had a fence installed in my front yard several years ago and used them again to put in the back one this past October. Both of the sales representatives were friendly, non pushy and gave me some good ideas on what would look good. I was skeptical at first, but have to admit, I am extremely happy with the choices made. I did have an issue with the basket weave on the back fence, but Nahun and TIto quickly made a few adjustments to the fence and the end result is beautiful. These two did such a great job working quickly and cleaning up after themselves for the two days they were with me. I had quotes from other fence companies and actually had a gate installed by one, but have to say the price of the job, the quality of the materials, the workers, workmanship and time to complete the job from Liberty far exceeded my expectations than that of the other one used. There will always be a few who have a bad experience with companies, but listen to the ones who have had a great experience and make your own decision. We had a stockade fence installed . Communicating with their office was virtually impossible. In a windstorm the door flew off, they used a wood block for a handle , they installed the fence off the property line, reporting them to Better Business Bureau they were advised to fix the back door, they never showed up. This review is for the customer service staff and female supervisor. So I needed a repair done they told me send a pic of what needed to be repaired. They quoted me a price and requested a deposit half to be exact. The guys show up 2 weeks later and ask me if anyone came to take measurements, I said no. He informed me the materials given to him were not the right one, and he would have to come back. So I call the company and and tell them that I waited all day and work wasn't completed and requested a discount. The nasty female staff tells me that they don't give any discounts and sorry u wasted a day. They refused to connect me with management and provide their names. So one of the workers calls the office to confirm balance and I could hear the female staff berating the poor guy. He informed me the company receives many complaints regarding the female staff. I used liberty years ago and had no complaints. I guess this happens when you hire unprofessional and uneducated staff. Waited over four months after giving deposit to have my fence installed. Every time I called they used a different excuse as to why it was delayed. If they were up front about the delay in installation that would have been fine I just would have went else where. The fence looks good. The workers pleasant. Finally when they showed they only installed some of it but left the rest on my grass which killed it because it sat for two weeks. I've owned several homes over the years and had a great number of projects completed during that time. All projects may come with some hiccups as that's expected. However, dealing with liberty fence and railing after the most pleasant of sales people was a horrific event. Trying to have my project completed in a timely fashion after the deposit was made was impossible. At times I've waited days after days for return phone calls, I've waited as long as 8 business days for a return call to schedule installation. Between the two arrogant most unprofessional office workers I've ever dealt with Rita and Allison. They clearly have something on the owners of this company because they talk to you as if you're doing the company a service. Rita is extremely nasty and arrogant. I've asked for phone call from the owner and the Reilly was, "that's not going to happen, you're dealing with me". How this woman is employed by any business is amazing so clearly evident she has something on the owners and they can't fire her. I'm currently waiting over three weeks for a phone call to schedule the second phase of my project. The sales person has his hands tied and stated he can't do anything. Clearly how Rita and Allison speak to customers contradicts Anthony Strianese YouTube video on how customers are first because with Rita's nasty disposition that's customers last. Perhaps part of the issue there's too many owners and not enough of resigning in rogue staff like Rita, so far I see named owners of Adam Glantz, Anthony Strianese, Danny Gaddis. What's really a shame, is the product is a really good product in appearance and in install. Everyone that's asked about it provides compliments and I tell them my story and to steer clear of this company. I work with clients all over the tri state area and I'm spreading this unbelievable experience far and wide. What's funny about this, all we are talking about is less than 100 feet off fence with a gate, I can only imagine the power tripping Rita exhibits towards larger projects. If I don't receive a call this week to schedule phase two it looks like legal action is going to be next. I'm really kicking myself for selecting them over the other estimates. I do not understand how Liberty Fence has so many positive reviews, unless they are written by their staff, as this business does not care about its customers. I had a fence installed in August of 2020. The installers were rude, messy and tried to leave a pile of asphalt rocks that they dug up in my garden. The fence railings are uneven and the caps keep coming off with the slightest breeze. I had the caps reinstalled a year later, which I could not book an appointment for, but was told when the service person was in my area, my issue would be addressed. Well, that took over two weeks. When the service person arrived, he literally recut the caps and used a hammer to pound them on....as opposed to say GLUING THEM ON. Here we are 2 months later and all the caps are falling off again. I now understand why they offer a 30-year guarantee.....they have to come back every few months to repair their repairs. Btw, it is absolutely impossible to speak to anyone in charge, only the very rude young women who answer the phones and know nothing about customer service, or worse, don't care. read more

Trespassing and extremely unprofessional, rude, nasty, and combative customer service girl answering phones. I was working in my kitchen and suddenly there's a strange man in my backyard digging dirt and tossing it on my property. Not in my neighbor's yard. My yard. We didn't hire Liberty. This is illegal. Workers can not come on private residential property without alerting the homeowner they are doing so. This is a violation of privacy. I called Liberty as this was going on, and the girl who answered insisted that no man was on my property even though I was staring right at him in my yard, and even asked him why he was on my property without alerting us first. She literally argued with me that I was not seeing what I was seeing, and insisted he never stepped foot on my property. She also insisted that no Liberty workers were doing a job in my neighborhood despite me seeing their workmen and truck with their giant logo parked on the street. The combative customer service girl refused to give me her name, refused to transfer me to a supervisor, and then hung up on me. When I called back and asked to speak with the owner Anthony Strianese directly she finally transferred me to his voicemail, but not immediately. She had to keep fighting with me first, and was telling me off like some young drunk girl in a bar. Liberty Farce, as I know them, installed 45 feet of unlevel fence, not on the property line, at my residence. The 2 gates they put in both dragged across the ground. 1 of them would first slam into my neighbors fence post, then ground then the house with the catch hitting a window screen. They first said they'd replace the fence, then decided they wanted to repair it. I was skeptical, then they didn't show anyway. Fed up after waiting 3 weeks, I removed the fence and requested a refund. I placed all of the fencing curbside along with the roughly 800lbs of concrete they used. They said a check would come with the removal crew when they picked up the fence. There was no check. I now have holes in my house, had to buy a temporary fence to contain my neighbors dog, had to fill the holes from their mess with 10 bags of top soil, and I'm down $1200.00 dollars. My mom (age 87) hired them in 2018 to reconstruct the side steps and railing to her one-story, side entrance. Included are current photos (03/12/2021). In September 2020 I made an appointment with sales representative Denis to come to my house to give me an estimate for a vinyl fence I wanted installed in the backyard. He was running late on the day of the appointment, but did text me to keep me informed of when he would arrive and apologized for the delay. Denis was friendly and professional, explained the process and patiently answered my questions. When it came closer to the proposed installation date I spoke several times with Anastasia in the office who I found to be polite and very helpful. On January 19, 2021 I had the privacy fence installed in the backyard. On this bitter cold day Walter Z. and his partner arrived ahead of the scheduled time. Both men were very polite, friendly and professional. They got to work immediately to install the fence which was completed in several hours. I watched the installation and noticed how meticulous both men were about their work. They cleaned up as they worked and left the yard the way they found it. The fence was washed down and the hose that was used to cement the posts was rolled back on the reel. I had a question about the installation of one section of the fence and Walter kindly explained it to me not once, but twice, because I didn't understand the first time. I could not have asked for anything more. I did my homework before hiring Liberty Fence to do the job. I read the reviews of several companies, including Liberty Fence, and spoke to friends who have had vinyl fences installed. Liberty Fence was the best fit for me. They were in my price range and were easily accessible, unlike other companies I tried to contact. From the time I decided to install a fence on my property, I did my research, visited several places and came across Liberty Fence. I was skeptical about doing business with them at first due to all the reviews I had read, but after being recommended to them by my contractor and meeting Stuart, who gave me an initial estimate, and getting a reasonable price, compared to all the other fence companies I met with, I decide to use Liberty Fence for my fence installation. I was glad I went with my instincts despite the reviews, because I am now a happy and satisfied fence owner. I met Anthony, the Owner, who came out to take measurements and was impressed by how patient and friendly he was with me and my contractor. He gave instructions of what to expect and a time line of when the fence would be completed, and by the way, the estimate Stuart provided was on point after the site visit. During the installation of the fence I met the most patient, polite and professional installers from Liberty Fence. These two guys were great, Alex and Isa, both came in and work hard and was very accommodating to my contractor's and my suggestions during the installation. Alex and Isa stay pretty late into evening to try to finish the first day installation, but had to come back the next day to complete the first phase of installation. My gates were installed 6 days later which Anthony, the owner, said would take a bit longer, to allow the cement in the gate post to set. So to sum up my fence installation experience with Liberty Fence, I have to said I am very satisfied and would recommend them to others, and many thanks to Alex and Isa for being my installers, because you guys made the fence installation less stressful... many thanks!! read more

Fence is nice and installation was quick but they left a gap between the fence and my neighbor's house that is just big enough for their dog to get through. When I called about it, Liberty basically said not our problem (paraphrase). The fence that was removed did not have that gap. They could have told me while they were installing and left the old post in place. read more

Almost 2 months waiting for these fences to be installed when they said the wait was going to be 3 weeks. They finally started the installation yesterday and when they said it was a 1 day job the guys left at 5pm right after removing the old fence leaving everything open and dirty everywhere charging me full amount for a job that's not complete! I called back the office right away saying I'm not paying until it's done and hoping they were coming next next and finish the job and the woman on the phone said she doesn't know when they'll come back and finish. First thing I do in the morning is call again and set up an appointment and the wait is another week. Very frustrating experience. Very expensive, overpriced service for the shitty work they do. On the day of the estimate, their guy called to ask if I was home, and I said that my wife was home and that she can meet with him as she knows what we want. He said that he rather meet with me, and asked when I would be home. I told him 4:30 and went home early just to see him. HE NEVER SHOWED. I called his cell several times, and he didn't pick up. I called the company, and they told me that they would reach out to him and call me back, and they never did. I had scheduled several other companies, and non of them were sexist or rude. If this is how they are going to treat you BEFORE they get your money, how do you think they will treat you once you signed a contract with them? There are other companies out there.
