TUBING EXPERIENCE REVIEW We finally learned we had to drive back up to the pro shop to pay. Upon doing so I learned that all the emails back and forth for a group reservation were pointless because they weren't given a name anyway. Our group just assumed we were to go to the bus next to the tube building since there were no signs or greetings from the employees lingering around. We loaded the bus figuring that was what to do. There was an employee and a driver and neither said a word to us. None of has have gone tuning before. I finally asked where we were going. The answer was "the creek". Once parked we weren't given any information. We had a handicapped person with us and the place they dropped us was literally a steep muddy slope under a bridge. A couple people started to panic about just getting in this water with no clue what to expect. The kid finally told us that there was an exit sign as we were all already in the water that was flowing some away! That was it. No other information! The float was great. Many shallow parts and lots of wildlife. Now that I know what to expect I'd do it again for the $20 and then giving a bus ride and cooler. Do NOT come if you are disabled. Maybe they could find a flat entry spot for people who cant do a slope into a muddy uneven ditch. The fact that the whole thing was done basically in silence was bizarre and a little scary. read more

Re: Liberty Forge Golf - Youth Summer Camp Poorly organized and run daycare center for children with very little golf skills taught. The leader of the camp program is a senior with low enthusiasm for managing the lessons for kids. His helpers are teens with not much experience golfing or managing children. A better idea is paying a skilled golfer hourly for private lessons rather than wasting your money on this train wreck experience. read more

This is a great course for beginners and senior citizens. In fact, this course should be exclusively for them. I'm so glad I got a hot deal on Golfnow or else I would have asked for a refund. I would not play this course if you have to pay full price. It is, however, walkable. Condition was decent, actually. read more

Horrible customer service. They were aerating the course and only allowing play on the front 9 while charging for 18 holes. Manager was extremely rude. He knew about the maintenance plan a week b4 our tee times were booked but didn't bother to mention to our friend that made the tee times that we would only be able to play 9 while being charged for 18. He could have avoided losing 11 customers by at least giving everyone a voucher for 9 holes. Maybe he needed lunch money!!! read more

Great course for people looking for a fun time. It is executive length so it's pretty easy to fit in 18 hours in about 3 hours or so if the pace of play is decent. More technical than some people give it credit for and a great course for women who are building their confidence. read more

I recently have been to Liberty Forge for the driving range and tubing in the creek. I am not a golfer but the driving range was a fun outing for our group! They utilize the Toptracer App and it made the experience a lot more interesting to know how far I was actually hitting the ball. They also have a bar at the driving range so it was nice to enjoy a cold beverage, try the Tipsy Tomato!! The tubing experience was the best!!! For a very reasonable price, they supply the tube and drop you off at a drop-in point. Then you get to enjoy two hours of a beautiful relaxing float on the creek! The day we went, we were able to float the majority of the creek and only had to walk very small sections 2 times. There is a very visible sign of where to exit the creek and you are right by your car when you exit. The creek float was a beautiful and peaceful time with our group..can't wait to do it again!! read more

Me and a bunch of my buddies went golfing here on Saturday. The guy behind the desk was extremely rude to us for no apparent reason. He told us not to go off as an eight some, so we listened. We went out to play, and after nine holes one of my friends left. There was no group behind us for at least 4 holes, so we decided all to play together. It was on the 13th hole, I believe, where he came on a cart and yelled at us again. We tried to be kind and he still split us up. I will not be coming back to this course ever again. Extremely rude staff all around. COURSE WAS ALSO IN TERRIBLE CONDITION. The tee boxes were all dug up and the greens were horrible. DO NOT COME HERE read more

Horrible experience! I've played LF for at least 25 years and have NEVER been treated like this. A friend left a message with the "pro shop" to arrange for 3 tee times for a group of 11 women to play 18 holes this week. They had her phone number because they called her back to confirm the reservation. We all arrived for our tee times and only then were we told that they were aerating the back 9 so we could only play the front 9. No, we couldn't play the front 9 twice. No, we had to use our Tee Time book so we got a "better" rate rather than a walk-in rate for 9 holes. No, they would not give us a rain check for playing 9 holes another time. The heavy man, whom I assume is the manager, lied to our face saying there was no way to contact the woman who arranged our tee times to let her know that we could only play 9. Yet, LF called her back to confirm the tee times, so they obviously had her phone number. And then he had the nerve to mansplain why they couldn't let us know/give us a rain check/let us play the front 9 twice. It was not busy that day so there's no excuse for not being more accommodating. The other man "gave" those who didn't waste our Tee Time book playing 9 holes a $1 "discount." What poor customer service! All 11 women were extremely disappointed with LF and could not believe that a manager could treat customers so disrespectfully! The guy who works the golf shop on the weekends is super unfriendly. We've been here a few times, he is rude every time. Also, the rates are very expensive for a not so great golf course. When using the bathroom there's no toilet paper and no soap. Unsure why they charge so much money to play when they don't even maintain their facilities. read more

Absolutely terrible experience! It was my first time playing the course and I payed for the all you can play, I asked a question as to which holes I can stay on and the man yelled the answer. he was very disrespectful during the entire process. this man was fat with shaved head around the sides, Mohawk style. I hope nobody has to deal with this man and it was a terrible experience. 0/10 recommend. read more

This place has so many fun things to do. The par 63 course is beautiful and fun to play. I especially like the 18th hole double water hazard. I often enjoy getting a bucket of balls at the driving range, it's self sever. They have a free app you can use to track your distance and have both turf and grass areas to hit from. After the driving range I enjoy getting a drink and a bite to eat at the Creekside Grill. They have outdoor seating by the range and also by the creek. They even have live music some nights! They also have a 2 hour float on the Yellow Breeches. They provide the tube, drop off, and pickup. My family and I did it this summer and it was so much fun! I haven't done the mini golf yet but that looks really fun too. I really like this place and definitely plan to go back many times for the golf, range, and float. read more

I was part of a group that had booked 3 tee times, and upon arrival, were told we could only play 9 holes because they were aerating the back nine. Nobody mentioned this when we booked the tee times. We were also told that those of us who were walking would have to pay for 18 holes since they didn't have a 9-hole walking rate (which they actually do! ). We asked to speak to the manager, who said they only found out about the aerating a week ago (we had made the tee times 3 days ago and had spoken to this manager when booking the tee times). The manager was unapologetic, unaccommodating, condescending, argumentative, and just plain nasty. He was rude and disrespectful to all of us and never once apologized for the oversight in not notifying us of the aeration when we booked, or the inconvenience. He refused to issue vouchers for the back nine to those that were paying for walking 18 holes, and refused to allow us to play the front 9 twice (after all, we were paying for 18 holes). He had every opportunity to turn this into a positive outcome but instead chose to create a very negative experience. We all love this course and play it frequently and have been regulars for years, but after this hostile interaction with the manager, I know many of us will not choose to come back. It is appalling that this manager has to be so adversarial as to alienate many customers. I realize from reading previous reviews that others have also had very negative interactions with this person but apparently nobody cares enough to make any changes. read more

Course is in decent shape not bad for beginners but the guy at the front desk with spiky hair is always in a bad mood and gives people hard times. Went with a group of friends and he tried to say we stole a key when he never gave us one and thought we would lie that we worked at a camp to get a discount and didn't believe us. If I could give zero stars I would. The Director of Golf, Derek Benedict, charged me 4 times for a single 9 hole round of golf. When confronted he denied any such payments were ever made. My bank has verified the payments and the Attorney Generals office was contacted. Very disreputable staff. Thieves, no effort to correct the situation. read more

Creekside at Liberty Forge Tubing was one of the best times our group has had. The price was very reasonable for renting the tube, and then being transported to the drop-off point. Noah and Lilly were there to help us into the creek, and again to help us out! For a group of ladies ranging in age from 50 to 75, that was most appreciated. The float was beautiful. We saw turtles, an otter, geese, ducks, innumberable birds, and jumping fish. The laughs were non-stop. We enjoyed a meal and a drink on the patio grill after, where we talked and laughed about our adventure one more time. read more

This is a great putt putt course without the over-the-top clowns and volcanos. Really cute setup with the outdoor seating area and you can grab a beer to take with you! Will definitely be back. read more

This miniature golf course is a MOSQUITO farm in disguise. There are old ponds or fountains decaying to mossy wastelands through the whole course. Also this course is very minimalist (i.e. - no frills) It's simply 18 greens with a little blue, green or white carpet to represent water, sand or weeds). Which would be fine if you weren't looking for a cutsie course. But the a mosquito village takes the simplicity and makes it a GROSS waste of money. read more

Driving range is very, very bad. The balls are old and hard. They damaged many of my clubs!
