Pro shop staff rude and unfriendly. Course is alright but wouldn't go back again. Go to Armitage.

Alright golf course but not worth the price they charge. People in the pro shop are pretty rude as well.

One of the best Golf Courses in Central Pa. The Driving Range and Putting/Chipping Area are…read morewell-manicured and the staff is super-friendly and helpful! Very friendly to Beginners like myself (I don't lose nearly as many balls for mis-hits here). Wide open fairways and the greens are well above-average when not being aerated. I Golf here 2-3 times a month. Great Value too...There packages and pricing are super-fair.

I grew up watching legends like Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus on TV with my grandpop. Having already worked with two different instructors as an adult, I was really just looking for a refresher to get back on track. I decided to try Dolphin Highlands Golf Course. Unfortunately, I missed my first appointment, but the staff was great about it and gave me some free range balls to make up for it. However, the environment was a bit distracting--it was hard to understand how people focus there with planes from the Middletown Airport flying overhead the entire time. When I finally made it to my second lesson, I met my coach 1-on-1. Tim is highly knowledgeable, clearly knows his stuff, and has been in the game for a long time. That said, during our session, he focused heavily on how PGA legends hit the ball, constantly referencing players like Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and Arnold Palmer. Personally, I prefer a coach who assesses my natural swing and makes minor adjustments from there, rather than trying to completely restructure my form to copy someone else. After all, I am unique--complete with a beautiful face and bronze skin! I believe in playing my own way. Honestly, people should try hitting the way I do, because I can drive the ball incredibly far, especially for an amateur. While I still recommend him as a coach because of his expertise, he just wasn't the right fit for my personal goals. Everyone is different, and that's the beauty of being human; we all have the freedom to grow and make our own choices here in the US. I hope this review helps you decide if Dolphin Highlands is the right spot for you!

TUBING EXPERIENCE REVIEW We finally learned we had to drive…read moreback up to the pro shop to pay. Upon doing so I learned that all the emails back and forth for a group reservation were pointless because they weren't given a name anyway. Our group just assumed we were to go to the bus next to the tube building since there were no signs or greetings from the employees lingering around. We loaded the bus figuring that was what to do. There was an employee and a driver and neither said a word to us. None of has have gone tuning before. I finally asked where we were going. The answer was "the creek". Once parked we weren't given any information. We had a handicapped person with us and the place they dropped us was literally a steep muddy slope under a bridge. A couple people started to panic about just getting in this water with no clue what to expect. The kid finally told us that there was an exit sign as we were all already in the water that was flowing some away! That was it. No other information! The float was great. Many shallow parts and lots of wildlife. Now that I know what to expect I'd do it again for the $20 and then giving a bus ride and cooler. Do NOT come if you are disabled. Maybe they could find a flat entry spot for people who cant do a slope into a muddy uneven ditch. The fact that the whole thing was done basically in silence was bizarre and a little scary.

Re: Liberty Forge Golf - Youth Summer Camp…read more Poorly organized and run daycare center for children with very little golf skills taught. The leader of the camp program is a senior with low enthusiasm for managing the lessons for kids. His helpers are teens with not much experience golfing or managing children. A better idea is paying a skilled golfer hourly for private lessons rather than wasting your money on this train wreck experience.
