My boys been having a rough time of it and was fitting to pass out. I go to look for a place for him to cool off, so i see this old fella standing around doing nothing. I ask him if there is a private room we could get my boy in?? This guy starts goin off and rising his voice. When I tried explain what was goin on he started shouting over me about how he was the owner and he'd have me thrown out. That was the last draw. I told him forget it but that didnt calm him down none. He kept screaming louder following me down the hall. Thats when I realized I heard the voice before and sure enough it was the same fella that was yelling at someone upstairs the week before!! I dont know what kind of place this is but i sure wont ever be back. There aint no one should be treated like that, specially on one of the hardest days of your life.

I feel the only way to stop certain staff from stealing the customers $$$ is for the owner of the business to have one of their family or friends return precounted bottles & see for themselves. I have used this locations for several years. I always appreciated the friendly staff & clean environment. It never occurred to me that certain staff would steal $$$ from customers. If it's happened to me, no doubt it happens throughout the day. I don't want to think of the families that count on that $$$ for desperately needed food, diapers or gas. It's also crazy to think that I've added a TIP each time I've been there, so they have more of my $$$. I no longer go there, I precount my returnables no matter where I go. I've told friends & family to do the same. Unfortunate experience, that's for sure.

However the laundromat is aged, the maintenance isn't the best and the machines are basic sizes. Recently I bought a new bed, a nice Queen size. It goes without saying that the bed wear is larger. The sheets I can wash here where I live, but the quilt is larger and won't properly fit in the washers here. So I had to find a good laundromat. 5 minutes from where I live is a newer laundromat, "Wash and Go". I went there Friday with my quilt. I'm familiar with the owners whom own the store right next to the Laundromat, the East Ridge Express, a convenience store. I did a story on them awhile back when they opened. The Wash and Go laundry they own is a nice laundromat. All newer washers and dryers. Very neat and well kept. The owner is a nice guy, and since it was my first time there, he showed me how to operate things. They have a variety of newer washers and dryers, large and small, a change machine, folding tables, laundry carts, and sitting chairs, and a TV. It's a bit more expensive than the regular $1.25 , $1.50 prices like where I live, but it's worth it. $4.00 is the minimal washing price. Drying is a bit more also. But you can wash and dry larger loads!!! I was pleased with the place and will go back.
