Don't book them! Use Elite instead!! ELITE is a million times better. We booked a Limo Party Bus through Liberty for our wedding. Every single email correspondence ONLY mentioned a limo or limo party bus. We had to call to book. We were clear in wanting the limo party bus when we booked. The person we booked with, Stephanie, marked us down as a coach bus. We did not find out until the day before our wedding (our rehearsal day) as we were about to leave to go to our rehearsal. Here is exactly what we were sent for a quote "A 30 passenger Limo Bus from Southport, CT for 8 hours of continuous service. With our service fee/STC and suggested 20% driver gratuity, your all-inclusive price is $2809.38." That is the exact price we paid so to state that WE were the ones who said "coach bus" is completely them refusing to accept responsibility.          Transportation/logistics was the most stressful for me to figure out while wedding planning. That's why we ended up opting for the biggest limo party bus you offer. We wanted that day to be as stress free as possible so we figured we'd rather have the extra room and not need it rather than need it and not have it. In our email correspondence we said we would like to go ahead and reserve the 22 passenger limo bus and asked about upgrading to the 30 passenger one. We were instructed to call to book it which we did. Nowhere in that discussion did we even discuss a coach bus so I have no idea why that's what ended up being put on the invoice. I don't know how vehicles are coded in their office but I guess I now know that if it's not explicitly "limo bus" on the invoice then the company made an error. I trusted we were getting the vehicle we had discussed both in email and on the phone when booking. I looked through all of our emails and the only vehicles we discussed were a stretch limo and a limo party bus. Having this brought to our attention the day before the date of service (as we were literally walking out the door to head to our rehearsal) was beyond stressful and upsetting. Transportation is not cheap and needs to be reliable. The time needed to solve this, made us late to our rehearsal.        Then on our wedding day (the date of our reserved limo bus), as I'm in my wedding gown waiting to go outside to take photos, I am told the bus is not there. I'm sure you can imagine how disappointing and upsetting this was for me. This then had me worrying if the bus would show up at all and also what kind of bus would it be if it did. Since the bus was late, there was an issue with getting us both to the church in time.  The initial solution was for the bridesmaids to ride to the church with the groomsmen. While my planner would drive to the hotel, pick me up, then drive me to the church in her personal vehicle. Thank goodness our hotel was amazing and graciously drove me with my parents to the church in one of the hotel's luxury vehicles. But I lost out on having the special moment of driving to the church with all my bridesmaids with me and making it a beautiful memory full of excitement and support. Instead, it was full of anxiety, stress, and tears.           We also purposely had some family formal photos scheduled into our timeline to be taken at the hotel. My husband would take his family formals at the hotel then head off to the church. Then, while the bus is driving them so there's no chance of us seeing each other, I'd take some family formals. We planned it like this so that we would be able to attend a little bit of the cocktail hour, which because of the transportation issues, we were unable to attend.        The most upsetting part of the transportation issues was that it started off both our rehearsal and our wedding with stress, worry, anxiousness and problem solving. Transportation caused a snowball effect for quite a few things. Had there not been the error from the start, we'd be much more understanding. We understand traffic issues and things not running exactly on time. But because of how it all came to be, we were not confident in our transportation being reliable and it caused so much unnecessary stress. Liberty never once apologized. When the issue was noticed, the person who confirmed our booking the day before (I want to say her name was Donna but I could be wrong), she rudely stated "it's prom season." The owner has spoken with us and the best he offered was a refund for just one hour and transportation one time in the future. As if i'd be ever be willing to rely on Liberty for transportation. I'm quite a forgiving and understanding person and would have had a better opinion on the company if they had been heartfelt in an apology (any apology at all) and gave us some kind of compensation for how horrible out experience with them was. And if you're still reading, Liberty wasn't even the company that ended up showing up. They had to reach out to Elite to obtain a bus for us (which we could have done ourselves). read more

I recently had to get car service for off-site meetings in NJ and did not want to drive as I was preparing for day-long meetings and needed some peace and quiet. Buyer Beware. I requested a quote for transportation to NYC. The quote submissions form gives you different options to select from based on your amount of passengers. I selected the option for a passenger van able to accommodate 10-14 passengers. I was given an all inclusive quote of $636. When I responded back to book for our 11 passengers, I was advised the price would now be $817 as the price given to me was for a 10 passenger van. I responded back that the quote she gave me should have specified that was only for 10 people, again as the quote submission form I filled out was supposed to be up to 14 passengers. She said they've been working on updating the website since Covid has changed their fleet. Even if the website options are incorrect, the option I selected had 10-14 passengers, therefore my quote should have reflected the different prices based on the amount of people. The quote price was completely misleading and definitely false advertising. read more

Booked Liberty round trip from Meriden to JFK. Pick up at home and airport on time. Driver was waiting in the airport with our name on a sign. Other companies were charging extra for this. Return trip drivers name was Dean and was fantastic! Both Lincolns were clean and Dean had 2 bottles of water for us on the trip from JFK to Meriden. I will use Liberty again! read more

I was in a bit of a bind trying to find a service to pick up my father from the hospital and to take him home since I was unable to do it myself. Jennifer couldn't have been more helpful during a stressful situation and found a driver for me immediately. She gave me his name and reassured me of the driver's credentials. I was also able to pay by credit card so that my father did not have to worry about payment since he was just coming from the hospital and had no wallet on him. He said that Joseph, the driver, was wonderful and a class act. I highly recommend this group and feel like it was worth the expense to use this service. Liberty Limo, especially Donna in the office and Dean our driver, did a great job in a last minute pick up for me. My stepson's grandfather passed away and he is in the USAF, stationed in Italy. They both helped me schedule the Monday pick up in JFK on a Sunday morning. They both went out of their way, on their day off, to help me with this. I cannot thank them enough. Great job!
