Avoid Gateway Autoplex. In August 2025 I purchased a vehicle…read morefrom them and also purchased a service contract for $6,999.00. The same day I brought the vehicle home, a safety-related system (emergency SOS) was already malfunctioning. This was never disclosed prior to purchase. On March 23, 2026, the vehicle had a failure involving a major system module. Repair cost: $2,383.69. The service contract company (Fidelity Warranty Services) denied the claim and refused to provide any written explanation. Because I purchased my car and service contract from Gateway Autoplex, I reached out to them for assistance. I was not expecting Gateway Autoplex to pay for the repairs, but I had an expectation that they would help me pursue payment through the service contract. I expected basic customer support and assistance in navigating the claim, since they sold me this service contract. I couldn't even get that far. Gateway Autoplex was completely unresponsive. I called multiple times, was left on hold, once for 7 minutes, was told someone would call me back, and never received a single return call. The person answering the phone would not connect me with anyone who could help. I even requested to speak with ownership--no response. To make matters worse, shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I was told by the Service Manager that the vehicle had not been properly inspected before it was sold. Because the car sold so quickly, it was not inspected. This experience raises serious concerns: *Selling a vehicle with a safety system malfunction on day one. *Charging thousands for a service contract that does not deliver. *Refusing to provide documentation when denying a claim. *Providing no customer support or assistance after the sale. This dealership took my money and offered no support when there was a problem. They did not stand behind their product. Proceed with extreme caution if you are considering a purchase from Gateway Autoplex.

DO NOT GO HERE. Long story short, they sold me a truck they…read moreknew had bad head gaskets. I know this because I spoke to the original owner. After confronting the manager, I was told, "For what you paid and how old it is, you should have expected it to have a bad engine." Apparently, a $6,700 vehicle they advertised as "runs great" only meant it ran--but not for long. I am now in contact with the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and others they have deceived, and we are working together to stop them from taking advantage of more people. Hopefully the state can do something. If you been screwed over or know someone please have them contact the email I set up. fraudgateway@gmail.com.

1) Bought a 2016 Lincoln MKZ in 2019 and quickly realized I should have bought the hybrid. Notified…read morethe salesman that I wanted a 2016/17 hybrid, and could he please find one. I knew I would take a beating on trade-in. I told him that I understood that. I checked in each month so he would know I continued to be interested. In October of that year, I gave up and found one that fit the bill north of Denver, and bought it that week. 2) Window inop on passenger front. Took it to McKie service. After 20 minutes, service writer came to inform me that my warranty was void because of hail damage repair, that my regulator showed 'excessive wear', and that they cracked the window trying to 'adjust' a piece of trim at the top of the window. Ordered new regulator and dealership bought window, were installed at a body shop (not McKie). Problem still unresolved. Lincoln informs me that trim that McKie claimed was binding was non-adjustable. Was surprised that McKie voided warranty due to hail repair. Took car to Scott Peterson Ford in Sturgis, who put the car on a diagnostic tool, and found (within 40 minutes) that the issue was a faulty circuit breaker in the window motor. I will NEVER go to McKie again

Customer service in the service department has been extremely disappointing…read more I brought in my 2020 Tiguan for an oil‑consumption issue (losing about a quart every 800 miles). I dropped it off on Monday and was told it would be in the shop by Wednesday or Thursday. By Thursday afternoon, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called for an update. They told me it hadn't been looked at yet but would let me know when it was. I asked whether I should make an appointment and was told it wasn't necessary. When I called again Friday, they said it had been in the shop but the technician hadn't finished testing. I never received a single status call or text. When I mentioned I wasn't getting their text updates, they just shrugged. On Monday, they told me my oil was full and therefore there was no oil‑consumption problem. I explained that I had topped it off before bringing it in because I don't drive around low on oil. Only then did they agree to continue testing. After 11 days, they said they found nothing wrong. When I asked about the excessive vacuum at the oil breather cap, they dismissed it as "not a problem." Then they handed me a $170 bill for their "inspection" and tried to upsell me on brakes, a tire rotation, and transaxle fluid service. I declined. Overall, the lack of communication, the dismissive attitude, and the upsell attempt after nearly two weeks without answers were unacceptable.

If there was an option for negative stars, Granite Motors would deserve it…read more We brought our daughter's 2016 Buick (with give or take 75,000 miles) into their service department because the check engine light kept coming on. The service writer told us the turbo was the problem and that it was covered by warranty. We were shocked, so we asked THREE different times if he was certain. Each time, he confidently reassured us it was covered. Based on that guarantee, we agreed to move forward and even requested pricing on additional maintenance. By Monday, after hearing nothing, we called--only to be told: "You're going to be upset with me." Suddenly, the story changed. Now the turbo wasn't covered. The excuse? He "fat-fingered the VIN number." This wasn't a one-time slip-up; it was repeated misinformation given three separate times. That's not just sloppy--it's outright negligence. Even worse, the service manager and dealership manager admitted fault, yet the best they were willing to offer was a measly $230 off labor. Then, instead of making things right, they started avoiding us altogether. At one point, their response was literally: "Well, you're more than welcome to come and get your vehicle as we don't have to do the work." That statement sums up the culture at Granite Motors: zero accountability, zero integrity, and zero respect for customers. They admitted fault and still refused to honor their word. That's not customer service--it's a bait-and-switch backed by arrogance. We will never do business with Granite Motors again, and we strongly urge anyone considering them for sales or service to take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of dealerships who actually stand behind their word. Granite Motors is not one of them.
