I contacted two independent agents and one brand-name insurance company. I was shocked at the price range for the same coverage. Jason Brofford at Detweiller-Brofford Insurance checked with different companies to get us the best deal, and the insurance he found for us was $1000 cheaper. We accepted pretty quickly! Every year when it's time to renew, Jason again looks around to find us the lowest price for coverage. I was really impressed with how kind they were. The building is really cool too - it is a historic fire station, with informational signage available out front. I received a lecture on why I should carry the larger card and how AAA was losing money from customers that peel off their key ring card and give it to non-members. I was finally able to get ahold of them the day my policy was due and cancel. They canceled it with no hesitation. A few days later I recieved 2 cancelation letters dated for the same day my policy ended/started. The day after those letters I recieved a check, so I cashed it in through my bank and of course it cleared after a few days. Days later my bank said it got returned?!...So now I am baffled, shocked and upset because i NEVER heard of a buisness sending a usable check and taking it back or it bouncing! I dont owe them and technically I canceled before my new policy started which they was going to charge me for both vehicles again when I only had one and they did the claim on my other one. I dont know why they're doing this but I will NEVER recommend them to friends, family, nor strangers as long as i live. My bank account is overdrawn because of them and now my kids cant have a home cooked meal, just noodles again!! This is so unprofessional for a "buisness" to do something like this. Anyways DONT GET THEM!!!
