If you like having communication with a contractor during a project forget it you will have to initiate/hound and may or may not get a response. If you ask... with what they think are too many questions... they will get annoyed and things get worse. Once you pay them the second big deposit work starts slowing down. We have had very nice days when they show up for an hour and leave and don't return for days or a week or more. If you opt for a concrete pool deck watch out for getting the Cool Crete they offer as the finish is very very rough on bare feet and inconsistent texture. Understand work defined in the contract and monitor what has been accomplished. We had $3,600 worth of work that required credit on the next payment we had to bring to their attention. With our project they didn't keep accurate records of color selections and asked us at least two times what we had chosen. If you don't want your yard to become an ashtray with cigarette butts all over tell them from the beginning. During the final hookups the autofill line was leaking because a 90 degree PVC connector was not connected properly or glued. Had to come back after 2 attempts of cleaning up plaster splatters and repaint most of the pool deck. I had to ask when salt generator was going to be connected and chemicals checked and adjusted. Also still waiting on final invoice of total cost which the Homeowner Insurance Company wants along with final inspection and survey. These are the guys... in order... Just be aware they will drop you like a bad insurance company. I was dropped in December so they could prepare for the Summer. Makes no sense and poor management if it takes you dropping clients. Also, we are a military family and you dont treat customers that way.
