Weekly service was sporadic. He or his designated employee failed to show up for weekly service for 12 weeks over 10 months of service. Despite what is clearly stated in the service agreement, I never received a refund for the services that were never performed but paid for! Worse, he became non-responsive, to my inquiries. This is not just poor customer service--this is completely unethical business practice. Save yourself the frustration and choose a company that values professionalism, integrity, and honoring written agreements. Update: Jacob Shankland did reimburse me for missed service after I posted this review.

Really curious why my pool pump is so clogged that I have to get it professionally cleaned, plus a new liner (which I'm told was exacerbated by not being taken care of properly) when I've been paying $135 for sweeping, chemicals, and liner cleaning. If you like having communication with a contractor during a project forget it you will have to initiate/hound and may or may not get a response. If you ask... with what they think are too many questions... they will get annoyed and things get worse. Once you pay them the second big deposit work starts slowing down. We have had very nice days when they show up for an hour and leave and don't return for days or a week or more. If you opt for a concrete pool deck watch out for getting the Cool Crete they offer as the finish is very very rough on bare feet and inconsistent texture. Understand work defined in the contract and monitor what has been accomplished. We had $3,600 worth of work that required credit on the next payment we had to bring to their attention. With our project they didn't keep accurate records of color selections and asked us at least two times what we had chosen. If you don't want your yard to become an ashtray with cigarette butts all over tell them from the beginning. During the final hookups the autofill line was leaking because a 90 degree PVC connector was not connected properly or glued. Had to come back after 2 attempts of cleaning up plaster splatters and repaint most of the pool deck. I had to ask when salt generator was going to be connected and chemicals checked and adjusted. Also still waiting on final invoice of total cost which the Homeowner Insurance Company wants along with final inspection and survey. These are the guys... in order...
