Up until that point he was cared for by grandpa and we had very very high expectations from a daycare. We've decided to go with Cornerstone for several reasons. No complaints that we were able to find by looking at the TX state background check on the business. We have consulted with other parents and they all love the place. The caretakers have all been there for many years, are very dedicated, very warm and friendly and very good at strictly following parents' direction as well as care for the little ones. The price is competitive for the area. As for the entire facility, it is very clean, well taken care for and the staff is very friendly and eager to help. Our little one has been going here for months now and absolutely loves it. And we, as parents, are at ease knowing that he is in good hands. I highly recommend you give Cornerstone a try.

At least 50% of the staff has been there since we started taking our daughter there, so they know us, her, and our two year old son. I never have any doubts at all as to whether they're keeping the child's well-being the number one priority of their day. I have heard other's (friends and strangers) horror stories of something that happened at the child's daycare, and I have literally NEVER had a concern that wasn't addressed within minutes, NEVER had a doubt whether or not they had a careful compassionate eye on my child all day, and NEVER found any reason to think that there was anything but love for my kids while in Cornerstone's care. We're moving, and it was a hard decision to make for a couple of reasons. One was ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY the loving, attentive care our kids received at Cornerstone for five years and eight months and whether or not we could find a facility that we could trust with our children's well-being. If you're looking in Wylie, I would look at a few other facilities and then go to Cornerstone to see what the others are missing. BUT, from what I understand, they will be extending their hours before and after school if you want to pay the additional fee. It was worth waiting for them to be available for my son. Teachers were very supportive, gave us suggestions and helped our sons development. The office staff knew our cars so they called our son as soon as I turn into the driveway and he was ready to come out when we park the car, we didn't wait to pick up our son. We enjoyed attending every events like the open school, grandparents day, and Christmas, not only to see my son but others growth. What we liked was their menu too, they had fish day. When we raised these concerns with the school, we did not feel they were addressed appropriately. Additionally, we observed that the front office staff, particularly Karla, did not greet us as they did with other parents, and the teachers were often unwelcoming. On multiple occasions, our daughter was sent home in soiled clothing. We ultimately decided to withdraw our child from the school. Upon leaving, we were escorted out by Karla without any acknowledgment or thanks. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school to families of color. We hope sharing our story helps others make an informed decision. We were also paying over $350 per week for tuition which is insane.
