The owner greeted us, I asked if they had any vacancies. They said the cabins were all full but they had the bunkhouse with a toilet and a sink. We walked to town and had dinner and drinks, and came back and talked to locals on the porch until bedtime. What a beautiful and accommodating RV park! We really loved our time here. Negative: the sites are EXTREMELY close together, especially on the lower level along the river. Expect to be looking into your neighbor's living room. No sewer as campground flooded several years ago (apparently creating environmental issues), so you'll need to dump often if there for more than a couple of days. And if you're not an animal lover, this isn't the place for you.

There were a number of items for sale in the office - some beautiful quilts caught my eye, and the husband and wife team who run the place are so helpful and friendly. We needed a mobile rv repairman while we were there and they helped us find a great one. We had to extend our stay because the part we needed was delayed and they worked to let us stay in our original site. The sites are roomy, the hookups are conveniently located and in good working order, and the park is neat as a pin. The sites are all graveled and they were working on some lovely landscaping during our stay. When we arrived we were loaned a booklet with amazing day trips we could enjoy during our stay. What a great idea! It is obvious that the owners care about their guests as well as their park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting for a longer time next year. During our most recent trip Tristan approached our group with a very hostile demeanor. I am concerned regarding how the situation was handled. Our party was accused of a situation that that allegedly resulted in other guests needing to be refunded. However, this was not an accurate representation of what occurred. We feel that our group was unfairly blamed for circumstances that were not caused by us. Rather than taking the time to establish the facts and determine what actually occurred we were met by hostility and anything we said back was not acknowledged, he threatened to "ban" our group from the property. The way this situation was handled was not professional at all. From a business owner to a business owner, I would want to know why my business will be missing out on potential business in the future.

I was told I need to do my research on where I stayed due to the high wires are in of the RV park I really did not see them in the photos and did do my research. The park was rated five star. I would give it a two star As there are nice, laundry, & restrooms.
