This nostalgic location is the former home of the SD Police Department Headquarters. As a born and…read moreraised San Diegan, I recall the location back in the day. Now, the old jail cells of that old police station are a tourist attraction. Also, there are many restaurants and shops to visit here. This at the entrance of Seaport Village, and you can't miss it. There is live music at most of the restaurants here in this square. There is also an annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony with the boys choir and the Hillcrest Men's Choir annually. I enjoy this place as a local. Parking can be challenging. They do have a valet service, meters across the streets, and also Seaport Village lots for guests. It is a great opportunity to walk and enjoy the scenery when you come here.

Some people got a chance to see Johnny Depp and also John Cena walking around taking pictures with the fans. We took the trolley to 12th an Imperial trolley station and walked from there. This is definitely the party district of San Diego!!…read more Day or night, this area is rather lively. Lots of different shops, bars, clubs, and restaurants here. I was here during Halloween and it was packed with people that night. The best place to park here, to me, is in the large parking garage next to Petco Park. The whole area is best seen on foot anyhow. There are also some nice hotels here to choose from. The Convention Center and the Trolley are also here, and the Embarcadero is just a short walk away!! Had a very good time here!!

I recently attended San Diego fashion week in the plaza. It was my second year in a row. Last year…read moreI was on the second level because there wasn't enough seating down below. This year, I managed to get there a little bit early and got a seat on the main floor. It was a well produced fun event. It moved in a timely manner, and it was fun to see the upcoming fashions for the season. I believe this year was a little bit better organized than last year, but the show seemed a lot smaller than last year. It was still enjoyable and I will definitely try to come again next year .

The beauuutiful models (from young to more mature) owned this multi-level runway for suuure. Worked it!! It was niiice to see how they all gracefully catwalked around the building with their inspired outfits. The plaza itself was a greaaat place to hang out at the outdoor seating area. It was pretty lively with the spectators for the fashion show and those there for the unique high-end stores including an Italian restaurant on the 3rd Floor. Honestly, there was not a lot of options but it was verrry clean in general. I'd definitely go back since I had a wonderful time.

My wife wanted to come here before we headed back to LA. We came a little after the shops all open…read moreso finding parking if you came early should be easy. I parked at the west entrance area off Kettner Blvd after you turned on Harbor. Just know that the parking area don't take cash so it's card only. My wife visited more stores than I did. I went to a jewelry store near the parking lot because my wife wanted to look there. Afterwards, I went to the Surf company store to look for hats and just walked around while pushing my daughter in her stroller. We saw the fountain and also the water shoreline where you walk. I think most store here will validate your parking pass if you buy something so it will help. We had a good time here and I didn't realize this was where my groomsmen took me when we came for my bachelor party. We visited the Mike Hess Brewing restaurant so it brought back memories.

I came to just visit a Wendy to get a soda and Dollar Tree to buy bottle water. But you also have a Ross Dress Store, Living Spaces and Total Wine and More as well. There other store as well and a big parking lot with many spaces. There many entrance and exit but I learned to not use the exit near Dollar Tree (Grill Village Way) because it will take you on a one way street to basically go around the whole shopping center.

Completely safe here and great deals! Plenty of parking. It's right off of Rio SD drive. Excellent service from all the stores I visited. You'll never know what you'll find. They also have Navy Fed bank here.

Since this was her birthday weekend getaway, I took her here. I parked at the private lot inside this place and paid through my phone for the LAZ Parking. You're better paying the 6 hours instead of the 4 hours because the price is only different by like 5 dollars. There a lot of food places and shopping retail store here. So while I waited in line for an hour at the restaurant my wife wanted to eat at, she went shopping at the store here. After we finish eating, we walked around the shore area and also at the pier where the loading ferry is at. It's a nice area especially when the weather is nice.

In addition, there is Lil' Piggy's Bar-B-Q, Cocina 35 Brunch, Cold Stone Creamery, Coronado Coffee Company, Burger King, and Village Pizzeria. There are also many other restaurants nearby on Orange.
