We were seated in a room toward the back near the wine cellar, adjacent to a pond outside. It ended up being a great spot because we could watch people enjoying the outdoor area throughout the evening. The restaurant struck a nice balance, it felt upscale and welcoming without being overly quiet. Our group was able to be a little loud and goofy without feeling out of place, which made the experience even more fun. What ultimately secured the five-star rating was dessert. I can't remember its name, but it's pictured in the photo. It was enormous and absolutely incredible, one of the best desserts I've ever had and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. I do want to recognize the staff. Our server was a very polite young man who provided excellent service, and the hostess was welcoming and hospitable. Our service and meal were absolutely fantastic. I wish I could remember our server's name, but she took care of our group of about 12 in the back room and was on top of everything all night. She was so kind, patient, and willing to repeat things when needed, which is huge when you have that many people trying to get attention at once. She even thanked us for coming in, which was such a sweet touch. The food was amazing. She accidentally brought out an extra side of squash puppies and let us keep them, so I tried them even though I hadn't ordered them. Let me tell you, you HAVE to order them.
