I have never been and was even unsure what chiropractor care was until I came to Dr. Jay Libs. I e-mailed them and they responded very quick and made an appointment for my lower back pain I was having. I had massive shoulder pain in my right shoulder. I experienced a level 12 in pain! After my first visit with Dr. Jay I learned that I had a pinched nerve in my neck. Run like the wind. Doctor David X-rayed me I think. Then continued to manipulate me to help my sciatica. Nothing worked. He kept manipulating me. Lots of laughs but? Turns out, I had a double L2/3 hernia with an MRI. It had been there for years. Dr. David never suggested MRI. He'd rather milk a neighbor? The hernia penetrated a spinal blood vessel . His manipulation could have killed me? He working blind. No concern? He's hi! I now have had back surgery and doing well. Pretty upset after my visit there today. I'm not really into negative reviews but I have to say what happend to me. I went to see Dr. jay because I was referred to him since my chiropractor moved away and Libs bought the business. I go in for my second adjustment and Dr. jay did something that hurt me really bad but could possibly help others I guess, I don't know. So I called in becuse I was upset and hurt and I wanted my money back. Dr. Jay said he was sorry and that he understood and that he wanted me to continue seeing him and that what happend to me would never happen again. So I gave him another chance. 2 adjustments later I go in (today) and he does the same thing that hurt me which he said he wouldn't do again. Clearly he just wants as much traffic in the office as possible and doesn't really care about the promises he makes to his patients, weather or not he hurts them, or anything that is really going on with their health. Dr. Jay told me he could help with my broken rib and nerve damage. I thought to myself no way this is a gimmick. So I came in turns out I had horrible posture bad eating habits and didn't drink enough water along with really bad nerve damage. Turns out it's more of a lifestyle. Dr Jay sees me 2 times a week since seeing him my nerve damage is minor compared to when I first came in, it is manageable in the sense it's there if I feel for it but compared to when I came in I was almost in tears daily. My eating habits remained almost the same. More water is included in my life. My posture is getting much better and I feel great! I'm blown away that this man was able to relieve my nerve damage from my broken rib. I leave the office feeling amazing. For anyone skeptical about this I can assure you I am one to say nah I'm good. Dr. David is amazing! I was referred to him by my insurance company and I'm so happy for it. After hurting my back at work, I was desperate to find a solution that would get me back to work! I contacted Jay Libs after I started feeling "aches" and cavitation (yeah, Jay taught me that word). I play tennis, ride my bike, snowboard and sit at a desk way too much. Anyways my back (and neck) always felt like it wanted to be stretched and pulled in different directions. After months of pain (I kept thinking it would get better, like when I was younger) I decided that I was willing to try anything so we met for a consultation and he was very informative and knowledgeable. He didn't just jump into an adjustment, but made sure we were on the same page of the "why" behind what we were doing, which I appreciated. The first adjustment was great and I felt better right away, but there was still a little soreness for the next week.. However, after our weekly meetings, recently my pain has completely gone away. It's been about a month and Jay recommended exercises and things to do at home to try and help alleviate pain right after I exercised, which really helped. Dr. David Libs is a magician. I had been struggling with back problems for over a year. I am a very active individual and the back pain I was experiencing was extremely frustrating. Dr. David took some x-rays and knew exactly what was wrong with my back. He gave me my first adjustment right away and told me to take it easy on my back for a few weeks. So I quit wakeboarding and going to the gym. When I got back to the gym I felt great! Before Dr. David's treatments, I rarely was able to complete a workout without sharp back pains. He put me on a weekly program where I saw him 3 x per week until my shoulder blades started relaxing. Then 2 x per week. Then 1 x per week. Now I feel as if I don't even have to go anymore. I haven't been back to see Dr. Libs in probably a year - because everything worked! I have a slight scoliosis and had surgery in 2007 for a bulging disc that had me paralyzed before the surgery. I was crooked! I leaned to the side. Years of regular visits/chiropractic adjustments + yoga + holistic pain medication = I just ran an 8 mile race and have been running a few miles a week for months - no pain. No issues. Just ample stretching after I run and regular yoga. The back surgeon years ago said I should probably never run again and I should stay away from lifting over 30 pounds. This place was extremely weird. I probably wouldn't bring this up but my neighbor shared the exact same experience, so I feel validated. 1) The front desk staff really tripped over themselves when I told them that I only had a digital insurance card - it's 2017, figure it out already. They never billed my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket. 2) Dr Lib spent 1 hr with me - 99% of it was trying to sell me some 3-5x / week commitment telling me that he didn't see patients less than 3 times a week or something. Um, would have been cool to know that before I came. I usually go to chiropractic 5x / year. It was seriously 45 or being hard sold on his whole program. My neighbor described it as a girl asking you to commit to where your future kids would go to school on first date. I am extremely thankful that I found Dr. David. After one month of seeing Dr. David regularly, I have much less neck and back pain. I feel great and most importantly am seeing tangible results. I was very disappointed in my treatment from Dr. David Libbs. I was visiting a friend some time ago when my back had gone out. My friend swore by Dr. Libs and so we went to see him. He was very friendly at first and I had a good adjustment. Then when I came back a year or so later, I found him very distracted and cold. And for some reason it seemed he thought I was made out of money, because he decided to charge me $30 more than the original treatment! I could understand if I was getting xrays and what not, but I wasn't doing anything different than before. I told my friend about the price and he was surprised, as he gets a cheaper treatment without any problems. I'm never going back to see Dr. David Libs. I have been seeing Dr. Lori and Dr. David for years. They are very caring and wonderful healers. They do this work because they love it and it is their "calling." I have referred them dozens of people, and have been thanked by those referrals on almost every occasion. Amazingly, Dr. Lori even helped me with an eye problem I had by adjusting my head. I was flabbergasted! My Ophthalmologist couldn't believe it, but turned into a convert.
