This place is always so good when we come back to it. Always makes for a worthwhile trip to Grand Rapids love their goat cheese and chips so good. Tried the burger this rime and also good.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came for the food, stayed for the patio view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their Malbec with a view over Reed's Lake at sunset is the perfect relaxation combo. My Ribeye was fantastic, it was a huge portion and had a great crisp on the outside while still being the perfect medium temperature on the inside. Their cocktails had great flavor profiles, and the staff was very attentive, even when we stayed and chatted for almost 3 hours, we were just so comfortable there!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]One of our favorite places to go that's on the water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The root chips are a must, there's plenty to share with friends! Another favorite is the sesame seared yellowfin tuna. At the end of your meal you'll get a little sample of caramel popcorn. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After you can stroll around Reeds lake or take a walk to Gaslight village.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pizza on the Special's menu. So good! One of us usually orders the pizza from that menu because we know it's going to be great.

Rose's is one of our favorite restaurants in the area that we can walk to. The food is always great. The service is excellent and everyone is friendly. Just a few of the things I managed to capture a picture of before digging in.

We were in GR for a conference and this place was recommended by a friend. First off let me say the location is very picturesque, but the parking situation can be a bit of a challenge. The atmosphere is fitting for the location and the staff are very friendly. I was with a group of 5 people and we all enjoyed our meals. I had a Mahi featured dish and it was great. I was impressed with the way the culinary team built up the flavors of each dish as i had the opportunity to try another. I'd certainly recommend this place if you're looking for a great place to enjoy a good meal on the water.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a beautiful location![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We wanted a Saturday late lunch place and found this on Yelp. My take: 5 star view with a 3 star lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside on the deck, somehow we ended up at the only table without an umbrella but we improvised and huddled on one side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What a lovely location! Wanted to try a dinner fish meal but the waiter said the chef could not make something dairy free. So I opted for a Ruben. Something just tasted off. Corned beef was nice, but the sandwich fell flat. Husband said his burger was just okay. Beautiful location so we'll give it another try.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Okay, so this location is so great! Right by the lake and beautiful park.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The parking is a littleeeee small, but overall great location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building has some really cool history behind it, so check out the images in the main hallway![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was especially delicious. We had the root chips as an appetizer and devoured them all. Highly recommend getting them! Don't be intimidated by them being vegetable based--they're so delicious! I had the chicken Caesar salad and it was good. Nothing overly extraordinary, but still tasty. Two people in my party got the turkey burgers and spoke highly of them. Rose's is a must!

It was my birthday yesterday, and my mother-in-law took me to lunch at a lovely restaurant. She was thrilled to introduce me to the place, and I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time. We were delighted to find it wasn't busy. Upon entering, I noticed how cozy the atmosphere was. The hallway featured many memorabilia, providing a nice distraction while waiting to be seated and offering a glimpse into the restaurant's history. We chose a seat outside overlooking Reeds Lake. Our server was attentive and asked if we needed drinks. We ordered coffee and water. The ambiance was pleasant, with a beautiful rope chandelier and windows overlooking the lake. Inside, there was a fireplace and an open kitchen (though I didn't pay much attention). For lunch, I ordered rigatoni bolognese, and my mother-in-law had a cranberry sandwich, which she said was delicious. We also enjoyed bread, though serving it warm would have been nice. The food was amazing! My pasta was cooked to perfection with a lovely hint of spiciness. Rachelle, (not sure if that's her name though sorry) our server, was exceptional, frequently checking if we needed anything. My mother-in-law and I had a fantastic experience, impressed by the service, ambiance, cleanliness (especially the bathroom, a big plus for me!). I'm so glad she took me there. I'll definitely return with my husband next time. I highly recommend this place - 1000%!

Located right on the lake front so you can get some amazing dining views. Just came for dessert. Had their tiramisu and some herbal tea. Service was prompt and attentive. Tiramisu was on point and you don't get a tiny slice either.

Oh. My. Heavens. For…read morethose that don't know, I will only leave a review if I'm extremely impressed or very disappointed and dissatisfied. I'm a huge snob, even when it comes to dive restaurants. I have resolved to only write positive reviews on places that I believe truly deserve the praise they have earned. This is one of those places. This joint is completely unassuming. Sparse decoration, low drop-tile ceiling, brightly lit (too bright for your usual Mediterranean joint), HDTV menus near the front register... But, does a restaurant need anything other than a great menu and delicious, freshly prepared, well-spiced fare to be an amazing experience? I answer loudly "NO!" This restaurant is wonderful. They serve some of the best Mediterranean food I've had, and I've been many places throughout the US and internationally. Finding this in my own back yard makes me so happy to live in GR. My wife and I split the spicy feta fries, which neither of us could stop shoving in our mouths. Now, a bit about me - I survived a massive heart attack five years ago. Five bypasses. Month in a coma. Six months learning to walk again. I SHOULD NOT BE EATING FRIES!! And yet... I couldn't help myself. Each bite was perfection in crispy potato form. And a heavy garlic presence. The toum is worth it. Completely worth it. Gives Sheshco a serious run for best in town. Not greasy or too "mayonnaise-y." She had the shish tawook ("chicken kabob") and I had a gyro pita. Her chicken was stunningly tender and temptingly well-seasoned. Rice was floral and delicious. Hummus, not quite garlicky enough, but smooth and refreshing. And the Nutella cheesecake was heavy and smooth and wonderful. My gyro was obviously done in-house, same as the pickled turnips ("liyft"). love pickled turnips, and I truly believe that these aren't the commercially available jarred ones. Gyro meat was well-spiced, perfectly tasty and amazingly tender. The service was warm and friendly. Wife and I will be back again...and again. We hope to see you there!! Worth a drive and some time. Bring an empty tummy and get ready to enjoy!!

Our host was super kind, helpful with the menu and had a sense of humor. Grape leaves - I believe it was cold if I remember, and it's a softer/mushy texture. The host called it "Turkish Sushi." It was good and different! Appetizers- phenomenal. Fresh, hot, flavorful. We had cheese served on a hot stone, it was beautiful. Nothing was over or under seasoned. Everything was cooked perfectly. Nice fry, nice bake, nice sizzles. Salmon was cooked just right. Calamari was fried great and had a good crunch. Feta borek reminded me of crab cheese ragoons. I love the way it's prepared though, even bites and good flaky crunch. The shell is light and wasn't greasy. Baklava was delicious. Rice pudding was delicious. Drinks were on point. 10/10 will be back again!

Zeytin serves authentic Turkish cuisine along with other middle eastern and American food. A table favourite was the Pepper Delight. Basically, chopped red and green peppers combined with walnuts and tomato. I highly recommend both the Rice pudding and the Fried calamari. Nice big plate I had almost all to myself. The service was friendly and somewhat attentive. My friend, Darius, ordered the Chicken shish kebab and the pita was dry, cold and stale. They immediately returned with fresh, hot, moist bread. The wait for the initial order and drink refills was a bit longer. The dining area is large, yet cozy. The eatery has a very embracing, warm ambiance and it's a great gluten-free zone. The guy that suggested we stop here eats vegan. 01/26
