My son contracted lice from who knows where...we did not realize it until we were all infested at my home. I used the at-home treatment on him and my mother, as their hair is not too thick or long. I have waist-length, very thick hair and could not bear the thought of having to cut it due to lice, but at-home treatment was absolutely not an option for me. I called Airalle and the owner talked me through the process of how they take care of the lice. I immediately knew that this was the method that I wanted to try. They had a guarantee, which is a major plus when comparing costs. Other services would have charged me over $100 per hour to work on my head, and it would have taken at least 4 hours to do, maybe longer. No one ever plans out their weekly agenda with "a trip to a lice clinic"...am I right?! It's definitely not something you're prepared for or want to experience, especially with a family and so many commitments! Unfortunately, we realized my daughter had nits after she complained about her head itching and tried many things before finally coming here. Boy, would this place have saved us a lot of time and money today if we had headed here instead of trying so many other routes. I don't like to call out company's negatively by name, but we went to a popular location recommended by Lakewood and Park Cities parents we knew. Upon entering that appointment, the other children there were returning for their 2nd or 3rd combing and the mothers complained of dealing with lice for over a month. Talk about a nightmare. I was terrified! Their schedule filled up for today so although my daughter was treated there, I frantically researched somewhere else to go to since I'll be traveling soon and couldn't stand to wait one more day with these critters living on me. I called this clinic's number in a frenzy 30 minutes before they were closing and they heard the desperation in my voice and took me in even though they were booked and near closing. Wow! That already impressed me. When i got there, the pricing was transparent on the walls, rather than an escalated hourly rate like the other business we went to previously. This clinic offers a heat system that kills the lice AND nits and feels like a blowout if anything. They are extremely knowledgeable and didn't push products or services I didn't need for the stage my lice was at. They even showed me a louse under a microscope from my head, after the heat therapy, to show me it was dead and what it looked like. Never seen anything like that before and wow...was I glad to get those things off of my head and see it up close. It's so embarrassing to have lice and inconvenient! Best service ever and they stayed with me until 8pm...2 hours past closing... until i felt fully confident and had every question answered and hair examined. They really went above and beyond and the rate was CHEAPER than the 1st place. Unbelievable! This place offers more knowledgeable employees, better services and better customer service and is less than the other place. Look no further! Come here! I was unsure because this technology was new to me, but I was desperate to get rid of the head lice my daughter had picked up at school. It is very difficult to get rid of it at home. Very impressed with Air Alle. My daughter came home with lice Friday night. We left a message at Air Alle and got a call back in less than half an hour. They couldn't fit us in that night but moved things around to get us in first thing Saturday morning. Realized later that my son had lice too, took him Saturday morning, and they fit him in. We used Nix at home and were not successful. After the treatment at Air Alle, we were shown all the lice that came out of the kids' hair after the heat treatment that had remained after the in-home treatment. I never had lice as a kid so I was traumatized to find a lice bug in my comb after showering! I'm in my late twenties and I appropriately freaked out. I had been itching for a week prior to finding the bug but chalked it up to the changing weather and a dry scalp. I did a quick search for treatment facilities in my area and was happy to find Air Alle less than a couple of miles from my home. I called around 7:00am in the morning and was able to get a 9:30am appointment (very quick, to my relief). I didn't know what to expect and was already so stressed about the whole ordeal. I arrived and Marisela took great care of me. She had amazing bedside manner and was extremely helpful in providing background information and in answering all of my questions (which I can assure you, were countless). She spent ample time on my treatment and was very knowledgeable on the after care process, as well. I went home much calmer and I'm happy to report it's now been four weeks and I'm officially lice and itch-free! I cannot recommend this place more. The place is also spotless, organized, and very comfortable for customers. As a side note (I didn't realize this until afterward), Air Alle's technology is far more advanced than other places (they use a special heat machine that feels more like a massage than treatment!) and they go through several measures/processes to ensure your lice is GONE for good. After talking to some friends who have gone through treatment elsewhere, I also determined that Air Alle's prices are much lower than competitors. Overall, I could not be happier and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for extremely effective lice treatment! read more
